An amazing resort that you have to put on your bucket list!!!! Everyone was very friendly and the service was great....except a little slow at dinner, which is normal since Tahiti is French. We bought the Costco travel deal and were very impressed with what we got!
I read about the pool maintenance in reviews a month or more before we arrived and hoped it would be done before we got there. We received an email 9 days before our stay that the pool would be closed for renovations until 4 days into our 5 day stay. ☹️ This is an amazing looking pool, so that was frustrating. But at least we would get the pool for a day and a half.....right? Nope. On the day it was supposed to open, we asked and they told us another week. ☹️ I'm pretty sure they could have told us sooner, but they did not. They gave us ~$45/day credit and a free boat ride to the Motu everyday if you wanted it since the pool was closed, The Motu was awesome, so that was great, but the $45/day credit doesn't go very far when a large beer is $20. So basically they gave us 2 drinks/day for the 2 of us to share. So 1 drink/day per person. ????
Other than that, our over-water bungalow was beautiful and I didn't feel it needed the updating that others had mentioned. Swimming directly from our personal dock off our bungalow was as amazing as you would imagine. We watched stingrays, blacktip reef sharks, and tons of fish swimming by all the time. (The sharks are not dangerous...they eat small fish, not people.) We will definitely go back sometime, hopefully the pool will be open.
FYI, you can bring 2 liters of alcohol per person in your checked bag flying into Tahiti. ????

Absolutely Amazing Experience Top Notch Service! Gay friendly Honeymoon! I am a big Hilton Advocate and the team here has permanently solidified this! When a small issue arose the AGM came to our room at the end of our stay went over the resort with us and helped us arrange transport to the ferry! I will recommend everyone stay at this property!

Great hotel. The resort is not big but very nice. There was construction going on with the pool during our stay so we got a $50 a day credit. Free breakfast too. There was yard work going on too so it wasn’t a relaxing vacation. The small beach was filled very early in the morning. So if you don’t have an over water bungalow, you either got beach or stuck in your room. Luckily we had an over the water room. We didn’t get beach or pool while there. We just read on our deck. We ended up having a rental car and drove up to the top of the mountain and other look outs to take photos. The resort is pleasant and would be great if it wasn’t for all the upgrades going on for future guests…

Great hotel and an amazing location. The ocean water was so clear and full of beautiful coral and fish and even some sharks. Some of the best snorkeling I did the whole time we were in French Polynesia was here. I enjoyed this hotel and Moorea in general far more than Bora Bora. The only downside was that the pool was closed and there was a good deal of construction going on. I wish they had warned us in advance or compensated us better for the inconvenience, but regardless the setting of this hotel is incredible.

Room look a lot bigger than the Sofitel hotel. Renovation was going on when we were there.

Great place top stay on Moorea. Top notch location and service. We had a bungalow on shore and really enjoyed the private pool. Snorkeling here is the closest thing to scuba diving I've experienced. Highly recommend.

the only thing close to 5 star is the price. And the only thing meet the expectation is the price. Food is worst. They operate in the island but they choose to import the food from US, and the fish taste like rubber, the juice is exact same thing you can buy in Walmart. And guess what, the performer who do the local dance also from US. What a nice surprise and “local” experience. The room is old, decoration is lack of taste. Service is awful, no butler for room over 1000 euro. If you dine in the restaurant, prepare that no one ever serve u, and the wait time is 30 min plus. Hope the intercontinental still in business.

This hotel is beautiful! They have one of the best locations on the beach in Moorea! The water is all shades of blue and the sand is soft and white like a luxurious baby powder. The rooms are perfectly sized, clean, elegant, and each room has a private pool for your convenience. They also have a very good breakfast.

We stayed in an overwater bungalow on the sunset side of the resort, and it was stunning. The room itself was beautiful, and definitely made for couples. The location was also perfect, we were right between Cook's Bay and Opunohu Bay so driving to excursions and restaurants was always within a ~15min drive.
The food at the resort was good, but definitely not as authentic as what we ate at local spots we checked out on the island. We attended the Wednesday dinner buffet which had a traditional Polynesian music and dance performance, which was a ton of fun.
The water was very clear and full of fish and we even saw a crab. The deck would sometimes get too hot to stand on, but that's expected anywhere this warm and sunny. We loved being able to go straight into the water without having to deal with sand, and having immediate privacy available coming out of the water.
Our ferry back to Tahiti didn't leave until 2:30pm, so the staff held our luggage until we were ready to head to the port, and gave us necklaces as keepsakes when we left.
Overall we had a great time splurging on the bungalow for our four night stay!

„ Do not touch the hot buffet“.

This place is pure magic. We would move here if we didn't have to return home to our dogs. Worth the stay in the bungalow!

Loved staying in an overwater bungalow, and we were able to snorkel directly from our room. Water was calm, clear, warm, fish were abundant. A little pricey but worth it for a treat.

The only reason it gets a 4 star review from me was because the food was not great. The breakfast buffet was actually terrible. The suppers were ok but not wow!
My lunch was good.
But o would highly recommend this vacation spot and would definitely go back.
