Merci Simon ✌????
When you spend almost $400 for the tour, you have some expectations. In our tour we didn't manage to see anything, You come to Bora Bora usually for 5-7 dsys. If you spend almost entire day and you don't see anything, you will of course be dissapointed. We fully understand that if depends on the nature and it can't be guaranteed that whales wil be seen, so I suggest to change tour name from "Watching Whales" to "Searching for Whales".
If you are ready to risk and you don't mind being on waves, then this tour might be for you. In case of all others, I encourage you not to book this tour, as there is a high likelihood of not finding any whales.
I know in advance that tour operator will immediately respond to this negative feedback and start to defend his company saying that our son was sleeping during entire tour and that we didn't pay attention. It is simply not correct and all people on the group could justify that. How you will know that I am right, just try to see Simon's replies to negative comments. I couldn't find any negative coment, where he would reply in a professional manner and try to take client's feedback as constructive.
Client is always at the first place, and Simon has to understand that no man in the world would be satisfied after spending money and time to see nothing. Let's be fair and objective.
Since it is a matter of nature, tour guide must provide something else to clients if he realizes that no whales will be seen. For instance, going to some nice part of the islands, lagoon, etc. to see nature beauty. At least something at the end of excursion to compensate for not seeing whales. Even though peple are booking this tour only because of the whales, some other activity as back up, could just improve this tour and people's experience.
I am giving two stars only because they put a lot of effort and tried to move to a couple different spots to find whales. Tour lasted 4.5 hrs instead of planned 3.5. Nevertheless, we feel dissaponted and not satisfied with transparency and communication.
