Rented car to tour island and nice service. Super easy to walk off boat shuttle and drop off/ pick up. A day driving the island was a highlight. Bought pearls, lunch at the gecko, swam with manta rays from beach, saw WW2 canons, snorkeled materia beach. Shopped art galleries, grocery store and got gelato. Recommend Avis.

Très mal reçus, nous voulions un renseignement concernant les tarifs aujourd'hui, nous avons eu un hochement de la tête de la part de la personne a l'accueil, qui nous fait signe de regarder le papier pour les tarifs sans même dire un mot, ressortons aussitôt !

Smooth and easy service. Mateo picked me and my family (baby and wife) from the Intercontinental La Moana and we arrived at their office just a few minutes away.

They already had the car cleaned with a baby seat ready to go for us. They helped us load our bags, paperwork was very easy with Sisi. Such a kind couple. Would def recommend.

Nous avons été reçus de manière remarquable à Avis Bora Bora. Un immense merci à Nancia pour son professionnalisme et son accueil chaleureux. Elle a su nous guider avec efficacité et bienveillance dans la location de notre véhicule (le 50), rendant l’expérience à la fois simple et agréable. Location de 2 vélos pour faire le tour de l'île et tout s'est bien passé ! Avis propose des vélos comme nous les connaissons en France, tandis que beaucoup de loueur propose des vélos où freiner se fait en rétropédalage (et plus lourds)
Bref rien à redire je recommande !

We rented a scooter for a day. I recommend reserving a day in advance or renting online (you can also save 10%). Renting on-site takes less than 10 minutes—paperwork, choosing helmets, and a brief introduction. Then you’re good to go. We had no issues with the scooter, and it safely took us around the island.

Bonjour Nous avons loué 3 scooters sans les avoir réservés avant. L'agence s'est arrangée pour en ammener 2 du centre ville en qqs minutes. Tous mes sincères remerciements à la fille de l'agence, très agréable et serviable.

We rented a car for the day. It was $80 plus gas. We split it with another couple. It was super easy; they take you from the port to the car lot. We had it for the day. It was Saturday, keep in mind everything closes early, it was hard to find a gas station open to fill it with gas before turning the car in. We went back and they took us to the open gas station that they know of as they dropped us back at the pier.

Un très bon accueil très pro et même si nous avons loué des simples vélos qui nous ont permis de faire le tour de l'île en 4 heures sous un soleil de plomb, avec accompagnement à notre hôtel ????????

Super easy rental experience. Book and pay online for 10% discount!
Booked the night before and had the scooter in the morning. They pick you up from your hotel and drop you off too, all for free.
Reserved a petrol scooter but was given a free upgrade to an electric one which worked great and felt new. (Also didn’t have to pay for petrol!).
The staff in the office were friendly and spoke English, as well as the staff who dropped us off.
46eur for a full day, or around 38eur for half a day, for a scooter.
They have an office in Matira Beach, and Vaitape town.

agence de location au top. réservation faite sur internet sans aucun problème. Ils sont venus nous chercher, nous ont amené à l'agence, location au top, puis ils nous ont ramené à l'hôtel. Et en plus, la voiture demandée était bien là. Rien à dire. Je recommande.

Most wonderful, kind staff. I almost hate to give a bad review of the ebikes but I figure people need to know. Neither of our e-bikes had brakes sufficient to stop from more than 2-3 miles per hour. The bikes were excellent otherwise. Good speed. But when things ran in front of us on the road it was pure terror.

Coche en buen estado. Cogimos un eléctrico muy bonito y que funcionaba bien. El establecimiento está al lado del muelle en el que te deja el barco que viene del aeropuerto. Pero lo mejor es que el personal es muy amable y hace que el papeleo del alquiler sea muy sencillo y rápido.

Car in good condition. We got a very nice electric one that worked well. The establishment is next to the dock where the boat from the airport drops you off. But the best part is that the staff is very friendly and makes the rental paperwork very simple and fast.

Our resort made a booking for a bike hire at Avis in Vaitape. This included pickup from the private boat ramp north of Vaitape town.
The lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful to us. The bikes were in good condition and we rode them to Matira beach.
Cycling on the island is easy as it is mostly flat and locals are used to seeing cyclists on the road, keep to the right to allow others to overtake you and you will be just fine.

Nous avons réservé un scooter par téléphone mais arrivé sur place, ils n’avaient pas notre réservation, nous repartons sans rien.

I rented a small electric car for Bora Bora island tour for full day. Everything was completed very quickly and a person from Avis was very kind and friendly. The electric car need to be maintained because some not very important things were broken (lock of roof window..). However, I had a very positive experience with Avis because of easy pick up and return.

Tjrs satisfait de notre e expérience Avis sur les autres îles on se présente chez Avis bora bora, un accueil très froid même pas un bonjour, ils ont réussi à embaucher la seule tahitienne arrogante qui nous a liquidé pour ne pas dire mise dehors sous prétexte qu on n a pas pris de rdv.

Decent shop to rent something right where the ferry/cruise tenders go. Pricey and in truth not much to see when going around the island of Bora Bora. Rental was straight Forward and simple with no hidden issues.

Nous avons réservé ce jour un buggy sur bora bora pour 4 heures et avons passé un super moment.
Et surtout nous avons été tellement bien accueilli par Manu et son collègue ????????☺️.
Nous avions aussi demandé de nous conseiller pour un arrêt dej pour le midi et avons mangé dans un endroit local comme nous souhaitions et juste tellement bon et pas cher.
Nous remercions vraiment Manu pour son sourire sa bienveillance et son professionnalisme.
