TRAVELODGE BY WYNDHAM SHREVEPORT ^{* *}

I have never had a business loose my business so fast… the lady at the desk was kind, but the room, oh my goodness it was horrible. I turned on the light and roaches went everywhere on the bed the walls the floor it was disgusting, they wanted to charge me $109 a night! Absolutely not I will spring on a 5 star before I sleep with roaches. This was the first place I saw after driving for 16 hours I was exhausted and to be met with bugs and the smell of meth the second I walked in my room… gross you couldn’t pay me enough to come back.

The owner is a rude bi—h! She does not know how to speak to people and should not be in customer service , better yet owing a hotel. Ugh.

The best part of my stay was the front desk staff and housekeeping. Their warmth made me stay longer because I’d never support a business where the owner does not respect me ! I was desperate to escape my abusive ex so I had nowhere to go !

Candy at the front desk , and Alberta the housekeeper are amazing. All the front desk staff was super friendly and professional. So my review is based upon them only.

The owner could keel over and die and I wouldn’t lose sleep. The nerve of her ! Ugh.

Love you Candy and Alberta. Y’all deserve a much better work place. The owners of this hotel do NOT deserve you guys!!!!

I’ll create a better job and living situation for y’all myself just to come give you a decent job where you’re respected. Thanks for embodying customer service , don’t let the nasty owner to change y’all ! ????????????????

Front desk folks were polite and kind. We didn't like the rooms.

I Enjoyed my week there, and the guy at the front desk all i know is his last name is Mr.Smith, He made sure I was 110% satisfied, he gave me perfect directions, he really deserve a raise !!!!! The room was cleaned, Beds was comfortable, and the tv worked perfectly, i slept like new born baby.

I typically don't entertain the thought of staying at mom & pop 1 - 3 star motel/hotels however I did on last night 27 January, 2023. I want to tell any and everybody that reads this review to not count this place out or underestimate them. The staff was superb and they went above and beyond. The cleanliness of the lobby and room was out of this world. When you see a Travelodge, Motel 6 or Super 8, you tend to categorize them all the same. Low budget you get what you paid for type of establishments. Not with this location. Sheets/bed super clean. Towels super clean and soft. Freshness of the room was great. So if you're in Shreveport and your money is funny and your change is strange and you need to relax on a budget.....this is the place. Thanks Travelodge.
