This LaQuinta is the worst place ever. Our room door was open when we arrived. Went in and closed the door, but it never locked. We stacked our heavy suitcases in front of it just to feel kinda safe. There was a rusted out spot in the bathtub. Light fixtures rusted off and broken. And what looks like black mold by the light fixture. It was just the worst experience.

Room 2 wasn't any better. There was, let's call it a snot line on the dresser and something with red stuff on the top of the full-length mirror. They wanted to move us to room 3... it stunk of cigarette smoke, which sent me into an asthma attack.

Buyer beware! Reserved a room for five (king bed + couch) weeks in advance. Called the front desk two days in advance to confirm. Upon arrival they put us in a king room. No explanation, just gave us the keys and I guess hoped we wouldn't notice. Offered to switch us to a room with two full size beds. Offered us nothing that would actually accommodate all five of us, and tried to pressure us into accepting by telling us we had to say yes (and pay) immediately, or leave. Just an absolute mess, and after a long day of driving with three kids. I would go anywhere else.

If I could give zero stars, I would! Never stay here. Loud arguments in the parking lot, gunshots, and construction noises in the next room over all in the middle of the night. Couldn't sleep! Reasonable requests for additional towels were DENIED by hotel staff! Terrible experience!

Made a reservation weeks ago. Drove about nine hours just to get told that they have no rooms available despite me making this reservation weeks in advance. Called customer service and got my issues resolved kinda after 55 minutes. They were able to find me a room with a decent rate 30 minutes away in Slidell..

Loud when your room has door going into another person room breakfast was trash fake eggs nasty coffee and that's pretty much all they had I truly don't think we will never come back to this place

DO NOT STAY HERE........I booked online in January and paid at the time for 4 rooms...Arrived yesterday and the front attendant said the rooms were not paid for .. I then showed her and her manager my confirmation numbers, then..I was just to pay the $50. Incidental fees for each room ..They ran my Wyndham credit card and said it had declined!!! They said my card must be locked, so I gave them another credit card and when I looked at the Wyndham app...the charges were on my credit card AND the other credit card ..They continued to say my Wyndham card was declined, even after I showed them the charges on the app!!!..THEN the first room we went to....people were already in the room....We went to the front desk and they said no cancellation policy....WE LEFT anyways and stayed in nice rooms downtown.. This place is a scam and the location and people hanging around smoking pot...very shady..!! RUN from this place!!!!

Don't make prior accommodations cause the hotel will not honor them! Staff is rude and nasty. (Except for two) and they know who they are). Rooms are old and unkempt. Staff unaccomodating!

Don’t book this hotel , the experience here was awful. It’s very dirty and smells bad. The tvs in my room were both broken, the light in restroom didn’t turn on , and the front door needed work to be shut correctly . I booked the room for two nights, after the first night I went to the front desk and notified the receptionist that I needed to cancel the extra night and told her about the issues with the room. She was kind and made it seem like everything was handled, I called today and they tried to make it seem like I never checked out or told them about anything. I highly suggest you stay somewhere else .

Dirty. The carpets in the hallway are disgusting. There is a truck in the parking lot that looks like someone is repairing it. The place is run down and dirty.

The management is absolutely deplorable (Ms Hills, with the braces)! On my check out day March 1st I redid my reservation that morning before checkout time and left my elder aunt there to rest. I get a phone call from the hotel AFTER THE POLICE were called and my aunt was escorted out of the room being told she can’t stay there any longer which really traumatized her and she wanted to leave then! Only for them to find out something was wrong with their 3rd party booking site and it wasn’t that I didn’t extend my reservation! Once I made it back to the facility I went to speak to a manager bc just like a phone call was made after the police were called a phone call could have been made to me beforehand to see if a new reservation was made. Jasmine called for the manager and took my information for someone to call back but no one ever did. So once my reservation was over and I went to checkout I asked again to speak to a manager and then I was presented with Ms hills who came out the office with a nasty attitude and non welcoming disposition. Jasmine explained to her what happened and she still did not apologize but did try to recited to me that you have to come down to rebook (which I still had to extend one more day and didn’t come down to rebook) on top of that lie the next lie was that she couldn’t give me a receipt for my booking bc it was through a 3rd party which wasn’t true either bc I have gotten one before… no apology, no empathy, and a disgusting attitude is what I got for a mistake that was a result of jumping to conclusions l, not making a simple call first, and not caring about the guest first! I have stayed at multiple properties and never have u been so embarrassed by a mistake that wasn’t my own…

Oh and let’s not forget Ms Hills is going to block me from staying there again!!!! Bc I asked for a receipt and an apology

There are so many reasons for my excellent review for here. The front desk staff is awesome. Greets with a smile, very knowledge of the area and surrounding attractions. Great free continental breakfast. The best part. The beds are like sleeping on clouds. The area is very clean and safe
This is the place to stay. Convenient to airport by bus even. Great job

Booked a king bed accessible room. Don't need handicap but did have 2 large suitcases and 2 small. So wanted king room on 1st floor. Since there are no elevators working. They have a 2 tiny beds room on the 3rd floor. No working oce machine no change available for the laundry. The room stinks and I can't wait till 3 am when my lyft gets here to take me to the airport.

Do not stay here don’t be fool by the pictures as they don’t show the reality of this hotel. Elevator doesn’t work, hotel itself is disgusting. Had to booked another hotel. No refund was given back to us. Dirty sheets, trash can filthy, hotel carpet was not vacuumed at all. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The rooms had large mosquitoes. The carpet need shampooing. I had to switch rooms twice before I left.bthe icing on the cake was no hot water.
