MINCA HOSTAL COLIBRI

This hostel only has one thing going for it, the view. Everything else was ranging from annoying to outright disgusting. Our sheets were dirty, full of hair, the dishes were dirty when we arrived, the towels they gave us looked like they used rags with food stains on them, the gas of the kitchen was turned off when we came, and the toilet didn't flush.
But the absolute worst offence is that there were LITERAL FISH, dead and alive, coming out of the tap with the water we wanted to use for cooking. Not only that, but we had fish falling on us when we wanted to shower.
Junior, who helped fix almost all our problems, was very helpful, the owner however was terrible...
We tried to talk to him reasonably about some kind of refund. He answered very disrespectfully and refused to acknowledge any fault on their part. When we continued to press, he just flat out ghosted us.
If you stay in Minca, stay away from this place!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hostel. It is calmly located just 3min away from the church, has a nice pool and a very helpful host. Would recommend staying here!

The hostel is well located, in a few minutes you can reach the main street with bars and restaurants. From our room we had a beautiful view over the village. If you needed anything, Junior took care of it immediately. The atmosphere in the hostel was very relaxed and kind. We would definitely recommend it.

Bat in the room, ants all over the toilet. Toilet did not work but the owner just told us to flush with a bucket. No contact or hospitality at all. Musquito net was broken and looked like it hasnt been cleaned in years, fire extinguisher has to be recharged etc etc.
