We photographed a wedding at Three Village Inn in November and it was an absolutely perfect location for photos. Not only are there amazing areas on the estate grounds but the nearby shoreline is also beautiful to use. ig @thewillinghamsphotography

Went for a wedding. I had a long Island ice tea for the first time on long Island. Couldn't speak after. 10/10

stayed for a wedding and the place was great. they were able to accommodate a few special requests that i greatly appreciated. i booked the woodhull cottage 6 months in advance and found out the day of the event that they gave it away and relocated me to a lesser cottage. i had planned to have the groomsmen at my cottage to get dressed and hang out prior to the wedding ceremony, but when i was moved to a bare-bones room without couches that was the end of that. front desk said there was nothing they could do. c'est la vie. keys didnt work either. had to make 3 seperate trips to front desk for a new card and eventually had to use a physical key bc the cards all failed.

However, I was rather disappointed in my stay here.
To start with I was part of a bridal party (which I had made clear when I booked and confirmed my room). I asked if we could check in a little early and no one responded to my request.
Prior to arriving I called the hotel to find out if I could access my room around 2:30 or if the BRIDE could at least check into her room to begin to get ready. We were told that they were doing their best to "turn the rooms over" since there was a prior wedding, but I was pleased to hear that both of our rooms were ready at that point, so we made our way to the venue.
I checked into room 11 strong cottage. It was cute and had charm. The parking lot was very tight and crowded but I was able to squeeze my car in. The steps were "wonky" and steep. Again, I understand the old charm, but it wasn't ideal for heels and a dress.
Once inside the room it appeared to be clean on the surface, but as I began to settle in, I saw a lot of issues.
The room itself had a musty smell- living on Long Island I know that moisture is often an issue, but I am very sensitive to mold, and I could tell right away that the room had old moisture in it.
The bathroom appeared to be clean, but the floor had a large amount of dirt along the tile edge and wall. As if someone quickly moped but just pushed all the dirt to one side. There was very little toilet paper left on the roll and after using the bathroom just once I had to find more paper to refill the roll. It just felt awkward using the very last bit of toilet paper left from the prior guest staying there. The caulking around the drain in the shower was peeling up and felt funny to stand on while showering. The bathroom fan was also very loud and made a "Clunking" noise. We turned it off despite wanting to leave it on after showering to try to remove some more moisture from the small space.
The wall next to the bed alongside the bathroom had large scuffs on the wall and the paint on the end table was peeling off. The laminated information sheet felt sticky as if it had never been wiped off.
After attending the wedding my husband and I made our way back to the room and I had concerns about how clean the sheets were after seeing how the rest of the room was only "surface" cleaned. Once we settled in, we left the curtains open because the curtain rod was loosely hanging off the wall and we didn't want it to fall off and wake neighboring guests.
Once we laid down, we noticed a large amount of light coming through the front door, we opened and re-shut it but realized that the door did not make a complete seal, we were able to lock it but didn't feel very secure with being able to see daylight through the door.
The next morning, we checked out rather early, we were not very comfortable staying in a questionably clean room with an unsecure door.
I wanted to love this cute and quaint room, but it just fell short in too many areas for us to be satisfied.
