Strongly recommend this tour both for locals and foreigners. I took part of this tour together to we with 4 friends (all Europeans) and had an amazing time. Alejandra is really knowledgeable and well connected in the region so she will take you to places you may not come across but yourself. During the experience you not only learn about coffee from bean to cup, you get to try and learn about specialty coffees from the actual people involved in the process. I can only recommended !

Choosing Experiencia Cafetera to learn about the Colombian coffee culture was the best decision I could have made! For three days I lived a unique space of immersion around coffee production and peasant life in Pijao, a beautiful and peaceful town that has it all: rivers, waterfalls, mountains, lovely architecture, delicious food, unbeatable coffee???? and wonderful people. The professionalism and warm service of Juan David, Don Leo and Doña Ligia were beyond praise.
Special thanks to Juan David for his knowledgeable guidance and for making me feel so at home.
I highly recommend this experience for academic visits.
