The cabin was dirty, the main dining place opened at 8am so you couldn't get stuff in your refillable mug unless you went to the pool which was down foe awhile and the wait for busses was crazy. I wouldn't stay there again.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We rented a golf cart which is an absolute must for getting around to see the entirety of the campground. Everything is so clean and well maintained. We can’t wait to come back!

The old cabins were a getaway. It was kind of an escape from reality. I am not sure this was a good decision to replace them. Sure tiny homes can be interesting, however my son and I are sad to see them go and we had hoped to experience them again in the future. Always jumping on the latest trend isn't always a good thing.

What an amazing experience! The campground had so many things to do we didn't even go to the parks. We loved the ranch, golf cart, and shows.

Our family of six had an absolutely fantastic time at Disney’s Fort Wilderness resort! We opted for a Cabin Rental, and it exceeded all our expectations. The cabin was not only spacious but also had a wonderfully cozy atmosphere, making us feel right at home. Complete with a full kitchen, bathroom, and all the amenities we could ask for, it truly felt like a home away from home.
One highlight of our stay was the large patio area, equipped with a BBQ grill and picnic table, perfect for enjoying meals together outdoors. Renting a golf cart was a game-changer for us; although the resort offers internal transit, having our own cart provided unparalleled convenience, with ample parking and swift access to all the outdoor amenities and activities.
Getting around was a breeze, whether we wanted to hop over to the Magic Kingdom or catch the Monorail via boat, or simply take a bus to explore other resorts and parks. The staff at Fort Wilderness were incredibly friendly and always on hand to assist, adding to the overall warmth of the experience.
Speaking of activities, there was never a dull moment during our stay. From swimming pools (complete with a thrilling slide) and hot tubs to tennis and pickleball courts, basketball, and a variety of water activities, there was something for everyone. We particularly enjoyed the lively Chip and Dale Singalong, where we roasted marshmallows and indulged in delicious s'mores—a true highlight for the entire family.
The resort also boasts two well-stocked camp stores, ensuring we had everything we needed right at our fingertips. Additionally, the fast-serve restaurant offered a decent menu, perfect for those times when we didn't feel like cooking.
What truly impressed us was the accessibility of the resort. From grocery delivery services to seamless Uber Eats integration, everything was designed with convenience in mind, making our stay even more enjoyable.
While housekeeping occurs every two days, it's advisable to bring along extra towels for the pool. Overall, our experience at Disney’s Fort Wilderness resort was nothing short of exceptional, and we can't wait to return for another unforgettable family vacation!

Been coming here once a year for over 30 years. The price keeps going up and the services are less. It is truly Magical but Disney needs to provide more discounts for families especially for other countries.

When it comes to Disney you can never make a bad decision no matter where you choose to stay but the cabins at fort wilderness is usually my go to especially when we have the whole family because it sleeps 6! Conveniently located by magic kingdom, you actually have a private home with a full kitchen and one parking spot! From your home it’s easily walkable to get to the bus stops which will take you where ever you need to go!! Very large, clean comfortable!!

great spot.... in pop up camping area music all night long seconds night in a row????????. cold showers in first shower house price is high for this???????? 2000 loop. every thing else is good????
not only all that a month later. I found out they double charged us and would not refund. Charged both two people full price for campsite over $600 worth of charges for the week, a piece for the one campsite.
update after over 2 hours of playing phone tag with Disney's employees and my personal bankers. did they finally figured out that they did double charge us and refunded one of us didn't matter which one that was at the campsite. oh and I did also forget to mention they tried to kick us out the last night saying we didn't pay for it even though I had a receipt showing we payed for the last night we were there. really need to get their paperwork and billing and order????????????????

All the fun of camping, with all the perks of the other Disney moderate resorts. If you enjoy tent camping at all, it's a great way to enjoy Disney for a lot less.

Absolutely the best camping place! The biking was fun. We rode the boats just to sightsee! We stayed 4 nights and visited Disney Springs every afternoon for snacks, drinks or dinner! The Gideon's cookies are addictive! The music was enjoyable. This place is Magical!!

Can’t say enough good things about this campground, we absolutely loved staying here. Probably one of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. Really good value for being on Disney grounds and having access to the transport to the parks.
The campsites themselves are large and well spaced out. Beautiful level sites that drain properly to the edge and the staff come and actually pressure clean the concrete pads in between guests!
Huge campground with paved walking trails, great onsite entertainment for kids and adults, beautiful pool, and best dog park I have ever come across in a campground. We loved it. If we are ever back in the area, we will be staying here whether we have Disney tickets or not!

Big fan of this campground, one of the fanciest around, and obviously the convenience of being on-property at Disney can't be beat. It is as expensive as camping gets but this is the least expensive way to get the benefits of staying on-property (Disney transportation, early entry, early access to book individual Lightening Lane reservations, etc). We came here during the height of the pandemic (April 2021) and stayed on the campground property most of the trip (we did not visit a theme park). It was a budget way to experience some of the Disney magic without the extraordinary cost of admission to the park. The water slide and pool area were a big hit for our (then) 4 and 8 year-olds. A cast member overheard us lamenting that we couldn't go to the parks and a bit later stopped by our campsite with toys and notes from Goofy and Minnie for the kids. This is the kind of thing that only happens at Disney!
We booked a week-long spring break trip this year and have been saving to hit the parks this time. One thing we plan to try (wasn't available on our last visit) is the Minnie Van service where they pick you up at your campsite and take you directly to the Magic Kingdom entrance. Will update this review on that and any other details from our trip later in 2024..
Can't wait to return to Fort Wilderness!

Worst experience ever! Their staff driving golf carts playing “park police” at rv park was ridiculous!!! The ‘gate guards’ made it more difficult to enter than Fort Knox! And no consistency whatsoever!!!! One guard would say we don’t care about your paper car tag, next one insists he had to see it. They told our friends to wait up front and said we had to go get them… we’re in a 43 foot class A, there’s no “going up to front to get them”!!! (Bypass this by saying “sure” and go through parking lot but keep driving to rv spot). Then we got a notice on our rental car bc it touched the landscape (tree limbs or grass) but also if ANY part of the vehicle touched the road we had to move it. Told we could park down street by restrooms, but nope, next park cop said no! The ONLY allowed overflow parking is up front by office… we were on far side of park… over a mile into the park…The lots are small in width, insisted when I made the reservation on how large we were and they said they said all sites would fit us… except the site they put us in. Real RVers like us know how a park should run and this one isn’t it, will never stay here again!

Among my absolute favorite family locations to stay in Orlando, there is The Campsites at Disney’s Ft. Wilderness. Not to be confused with the Wilderness Lodge which is also a gem.
Ok… it’s not real camping, but it’s just so beautiful. To know all the activities and amenities, just go to the website. They’ll tell you everything and you’ll look at pictures and videos much better than the ones I can provide.
But dang… it’s just THE BEST PLACE to ride my One-Wheel (electric skateboard). The trails and safe places to ride without worrying about cars and traffic are just the heaven for One-Wheelers.
Ok, here comes the secret sauce… During Christmas season, families from all around the nation drive their monster (and little) motorhomes to “camp” there and they lit and decorate those motorhomes like you’ve never seen. Rent a golf cart with months in advance for the season and witness one of the most magnificent places to feel the Christmas spirit.
Remember that!

Staying onsite brought the standard perks: extra time in parks, lightning lane reservations in advance (3 at the time).
CG is spacious and pretty. Very widespread, it was recommended to get a golf cart but we decided too late. We didn’t move the van much - took buses to the parks and within the CG.
Bathhouse was decent but not as updated as you would expect for the price. Better than PA state parks? Definitely. Better than other CGs? Not even close. I’ve stayed at some CGs that were 1/4th to 1/6th the price with phenomenal bathhouses.
disney service is very good as one comes to expect.
4 stars due to the price. IIRC, it was approx $180/night. All onsite properties are outrageously priced, so relatively the CG was inexpensive. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that a disney vacation isn’t cheap regardless but $180/night for an asphalt pad and electric (not even FHU)…ok I get it, the convenience and the perks. But geez. Then again, what do you expect from a company that markets itself as for the people but prices themselves for the elite.
Overall, I had a good time but I do prefer to vacation elsewhere as I get much better bang for the buck elsewhere.
