Recommandation pour la visite guidée. Nous avons réalisé la visite guidée avec Kevin et avons appris autant sur le sucre que sur l'histoire et la culture de l'île Maurice

Notre guide Kevin a bien joué son rôle comme capitaine du navire pour nous embarquer dans cette fabuleuse et fascinante aventure du sucre. Nous n’avons pas vu le temps passé pour comprendre « la naissance » de l’île Maurice.

Museo dedicato alla storia di Mauritius e della lavorazione della canna da zucchero, molto bello, guida scaricabile anche in italiano, wi fi gratis. Lo shop bello ma caro, la degustazione di rum e zucchero ottima, il tutto nel costo del biglietto.

Als wir dort waren, war es in der Ausstellungshalle unglaublich laut. Immer wieder ein Knall dabei. Ich weiß nicht, ob dies ein Teil der Ausstellung war, um zu demonstrieren, wie laut es damals in der Halle war oder es einfach nur Bauarbeiten waren. Ich konne mich nicht auf die Texte konzentrieren und bin irgendwann genervt rausgegangen. Audioguide auf deutsch bestand aus 2-4 Sätzen. Die 15,- Eintritt waren dafür zu viel.

Très intéressant

L’histoire de l’île raconté au travers de l’histoire du sucre, cette ancienne sucrerie reconvertie en musée est très bien réalisé. À la sortie une boutique très agréable avec dégustation de toutes les variétés de sucre, dégustation de rhum, confiture et miel.

We hosted the dinner reception of our wedding at L'Aventure du Sucre and it was exactly what we were hoping and asked for. The site is amazing, tucked away in sugarcane fields between the museum and a pond. The food was excellent and the services provided were extremely professionnal and detail-oriented. Special thanks to David and Guenaëlle who assisted us from the very first day in planning the event, and always went the extra mile to ensure that everything was spot on.

We took two little ones here and surprisingly they both had fun exploring this somewhat deem museum / experience. History is presented in great detail but could do with a bit of overview in the acn section so that parents with young kids get to at least to skim through most of it :)

Sehr beeindruckendes Museum, sehr gepflegte Anlage mit ausreichend Parkplätzen und einem Restaurant sowie Shop mit sehr hübschen (allerdings nicht günstigen) Mitbringseln. Informationen in mehreren Sprachen über Audioguide bzw im Museum in englisch und französisch

Very nice tour. A lot larger than it looks. With a very nice restaurant and shop. Included in the ticket is a sugar and rum tasting. Highly recommend!

Il posto si trova in una zona molto curata. La visita dura circa un'ora ed è molto comoda l'applicazione che vi farà da guida durante il percorso attraverso i padiglioni (scaricatela prima se non avete rete dati!). Al termine vi aspetta una degustazione di 5 diverse tipologie di zucchero e 5-6 di rhum. Consiglio lo zucchero dark muscovado e il rum new grove al caffè. Non acquistate però in loco il rum perché al supermercato, ahimè, costa la metà.

All the history and more to the island's history is in this one site dedicated to the story of how Sugar production came to be central to the Mauritius economy. Very well maintained and pleasent staff. Reccomended especially if you have a wet afternoon...as we did.

Très intéressante visite qui en apprend beaucoup sur la culture de canne à sucre et sur la production du sucre de canne. Conservation du patrimoine industriel, ça manque toutefois d’animation car on pourrait avoir quelque chose de plus dynamique

Après avoir hésité pour prendre un guide, nous nous sommes ravisés et nous n'avons pas regretté......
Kévin nous a accompagné dans cette visite. Un guide extraordinaire qui connait bien son sujet, qui émaille ses commentaires d'anecdotes, parfois avec de l'humour, de l'interaction.
Les dégustations sucre et rhum en plus.

Der Besuch lohnt sich.
Es wurde eine alte Zuckerfabrik zum Museum umgebaut. Die einzelnen Schritte von der Ernte, dem Abtransport im Laufe der Jahrhunderte, bis zum maschienell gefertigten Zucker werden sehr anschaulich erklärt. Ebenfalls die Geschichte von Mauritius.
Für die Kinder wird es spielerisch mit Comic Figuren erklärt und sie können in mehreren Bereichen auch Sachen ausprobieren.
Es werden auch die verschiedenen Zuckerarten zum Probieren angeboten, wie auch eine Rumverkostung.

Super moment passé sur ce site. Avec des textes vidéos et images particulièrement complets, les explications sur l'histoire de Maurice depuis sa découverte jusqu'à ce jour sont très intéressantes. Le personnel est très agréable avec une mention particulière pour Darschili (désolé pour l'orthographe) qui nous fait découvrir le rhum avec un sourire et un dynamisme contagieux.
