Located in eastern Poland, the Lubelskie Region is a space where contact with culture and nature becomes the basis for rest and regeneration. Tourists appreciate the variety of leisure activities, the openness of the locals, and the tasty cuisine. They emphasize the authenticity and uniqueness of the atmospheric cities and towns: Lublin, UNESCO-listed Zamość, Biała Podlaska, Chełm, Włodawa, Nałęczów, Puławy or Kazimierz Dolny.
Lublin is one of the most attractive cities in Poland. It has recently been designated the European Capital of Culture for 2029. The city's over 700-year history is confirmed by numerous monuments. Among the most valuable ones is the the Holy Trinity Chapel with 15th-century Russo-Byzantine frescoes. This amazing place, just like the walls of the Dominican Basilica, remembers the conclusion of the Polish-Lithuanian Union in 1569 and have been honoured the European Heritage Label. Cyclical festivals emphasize the atmosphere of openness and the need to share a modern approach to tradition. Night of Culture (June), Carnaval Sztukmistrzow (July), Re:Tradition Festival (August) change the city into a space of artistic activity.
A unique place on the tourist map of the region is Zamość. Designed in the 16th century by the Italian architect Bernardo Morando, the fortress city is referred to as the "pearl of the Renaissance." As an architectural complex, it has been included on the UNESCO list. Lubelskie has exceptional natural potential based on two national parks and seventeen landscape parks. Roztoczański National Park is the most forested park in Poland. Cyclists will enjoy the Central Cycling Route of Roztocze and the Green Velo Route. Poleski National Park - a land of small lakes, wetlands, and excellent infrastructure in the form of a wide range of nature trails - is also a great tourist option. One of the most interesting tourist regions in the country is the Land of Loess Ravines. The uniqueness of the area is Europe's densest network of loess ravines, which are an excellent place for trekking and photography.
The Lublin Airport and very good road and rail connection from Warsaw make it easy to get here.
