Avec un nom pareil, ce café ne pouvait pas élire domicile ailleurs que sur la très chic Jumeirah Beach Road ! Inspiré des belles résidences de vacances des New-Yorkais fortunés sur l’île de Long Island, ce café-restaurant sur trois étages sert de très bons petits déjeuners aussi bien sucrés que salés, et fait ses propres pâtisseries, dont l’incontournable pudding aux dattes ! La décoration raffinée confère au lieu une atmosphère décontractée qui donne un peu l’impression d’être chez des amis plutôt qu’au restaurant. C'est aussi un incontournable pour un brunch.

Hamptons Cafe is a mini-chain of family-friendly restaurants in Dubai with a name inspired by the wealthy New York City neighborhood. It serves an eclectic mix of dishes that draw inspiration from cuisines from across the world.
This - their Jumeirah 2 location - offers ample seating on three different floors - a porch and inside seating hall on ground, an inside dining hall on the first, and an (inside) dining area and balcony on the second. We chose the scenic balcony looking toward the ocean.
Their menu is quite extensive - with dishes reflecting traditions and ideas from Greece, Italy, Japan, China, Korea, India, and many more. I am generally wary of restaurants that claim to do a little bit of everything but in this case, they somehow manage to pull it off.
The food is decent. In our group, we ordered
1) Avocado Crostini ????
2) Hamptons Shakshuka ????
My shakshuka - with beef sausage bits added to a traditional shakshuka - was quite good.
