Quel moment ! Trop court Hélas ! Le charme de cette magnifique demeure, la décoration chaleureuse de notre chambre d'une propreté irréprochable, avec une entrée indépendante et son immense lit confortable. Tout le nécessaire est là pour passer une excellente nuit. Le petit déjeuner copieux, pour tous les goûts, digne d'un grand hôtel. Que dire de l'accueil de Christine et Stéphane, des personnes adorables, souriantes, à notre petit soin. Bref, nous conseillons vivement. De plus, le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Nous reviendrons découvrir en fleurs cet havre de paix. Patricia et Franck de Limoges.

Pour les amoureux des belles pierres, des cadres bucoliques, de la douceur du feu de cheminée en hiver et de la magie que réservent les jardins au printemps, ce magnifique lieu est sans aucun doute, celui à privilégier sur Blaye.
Les hôtes sont charmants, attentionnés et disponibles, et nous les remercions vivement pour leurs bons soins.

Last September we were at Clos Réaud de la Citadelle, and well… everything went just great! We had a warm welcome by Stephan, who showed us around the place, and the location of our room and gave us some tips about the places around for a quick visit. The room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated with a lovely big comfortable bed and a spacious clean bathroom. The surrounding atmosphere of the place was just fabulous, the garden was well taken care of, the pool was just great, with the water at a perfect temperature for a long swim and, most important of it all, it was the way that the owners Stephane & Christine have welcome us, they were so friendly and welcoming we felt like part of the family by the second day of our stay. We will return to Blaye just to stay at this hotel and we definitely recommend it.

My My what do I say about this place, it was the most pleasurable stay at Clos Reaud. Everything was just great, infact it was more of a family-like vibe as their hospitality was top notch. Big rooms tastefully done, beautiful garden area, walking distance to the centre and the Citadel. Stephane and Christine are the most welcoming hosts you will come across. Thank you so much guys make our stay such memorable one. Will certainly see you again....Ciao

Suite à une alerte "tempête", notre vol retour a été annulé,

de ce fait nous avons dû annuler notre venue venue dans le bordelais, sur les 3 gîtes réservés il n'y a que le "clos réaud de la citadelle" qui n'a pas voulu nous rembourser l'acompte versé,

je trouve cela dommage car il est déjà difficile d'annuler ses vacances, nous avons reporté notre séjour et pensions venir mais vu l'accueil téléphonique sur l'annulation je préfère aller voir des personnes plus compréhensibles

This is an amazing accomodation with a new propritor who makes a guest feel like they are imposing on his privacy! We were so uncomfortable that we stayed away all day and when we arrived back in the early evening and thought about having a drink before turning in we chose not to risk iritating our inn keeper who made it abundently clear that we were an imposition, not guests! When he aquired the property in April 2023 I fear he bad a poor career choice. It's disappointing because the property is beautiful. If Stephane can find someone else to run it and if he can stay far from the guests this would be an incredible stay.

Le Clos du Réaud à Blaye est un véritable havre de paix. L'accueil des propriétaires (Christine et Stephane) est très chaleureux. Notre chambre était magnifiquement décorée mélangeant authenticité et charme. La piscine chauffée, le spa et hammam, le magnifique jardin paysager font de cet endroit la meilleure chambre d'hotes de la région. Le petit-dejeuner était parfait. L'emplacement est idéal, à 10 minutes à pied de la Citadelle de Blaye et à 5 min à pied des restaurants et du centre ville. Je recommande vivement le Clos du Réaud.

Wonderful unique bed and breakfast in a magnificent old property from the 1740s in large gardens with heated pool only a short stroll from the historic town of Blaye with its magnificent historic huge defensive battlements called the Citadelle. Apparently, this house was built for the commander of the Citadelle and there was a tunnel from the house at one stage.
Stephane and Christine are the new owners and live in the main building and are very warm hosts.
Our room was large and private and beautifully appointed and had a great bathroom.
Great unique place to stay and fabulous value. This place is special.

Sehr schöne, großzügige Unterkunft mitten in der Stadt, trotzdem ruhig und mit eigenem Parkplatz. Große Gartenanlage mit Pool. Sehr gutes Frühstück und freundliche Gastgeber.

Beautiful little hotel in a great location in Blaye. The new owners Stephan & Christine we're so friendly and welcoming we felt like part of the family by the time we left. The rooms are gorgeous, beautifully decorated with a lovely big comfortable bed and a spacious clean bathroom. The pool area was very good with a nice heated pool. The continental breakfast was delicious with the best fruit salad! We would return to Blaye just to stay at this hotel. Would definitely recommend.

De belles prestations pour un très bel endroit. Des propriétaires charmants et avenants. La chambre ( pigonnier) est spacieuse, calme et propre. Elle mélange l'ancien et le moderne dans un style très harmonieux. La piscine est chauffée à 29 degrés. C'est de l'eau salée et non chlorée, ce qui est un plus pour les allergiques au chlore. Et le petit déjeuner est une tuerie.. très complet , frais.... je recommande chaudement.

De Nouveaux propriétaires dans ce lieu superbe! Des hôtes accueillants, très belle piscine, chambre pleine de charme! Petit déjeuner très bien, complet avec une belle salade de fruits ????.
Proche de la citadelle et du centre.
