Charme et calme garantis. Une belle expérience qui vous change des hôtels impersonnels. Un petit bijou dans un quartier proche de tout. Le petit dejeuner se passe dans un salon très cosy et à nouveau une expérience différente des autres hôtels.

Christophe is an attentive host and was happy to help us plan our time in Paris. Villa du Square is a chic, attractive small hotel with a homely atmosphere. The surrounding area is excellent for restaurants and shopping and we hope to return soon.

I so enjoyed my days staying in this unique boutique hotel/B&B. It was very much like being made part of a family. The location is perfectly placed to visit Auteuil, the Jardins des Serres d’Auteuil and the environs of the Bois de Boulogne, and to get by Métro to the centre of Paris. The decor is elegant and fascinating. My room was quiet and very comfortable. The proprietor, M. Gicqueau, is welcoming, practical and charming. I can’t express how much I enjoyed his house and his conversation. Super!

Very cozy small guesthouse hotel. The owner Christophe and housekeeper Lindy took good care of your staying. Breakfast french style was good and you could negotiate about the timing of it. The neighbourhood was safe, nearby some restaurants and bistros. About 5 min walk to metro station and 15 min over the bridge to Javel RER C trainstation. |We recommend warmly this guesthouse.

Excellent stay! Owner Christophe is very responsive (via email typically within 24 hours) and welcoming. He was very accommodating and had excellent recommendations for museums. Great proximity to Roland Garros (15 minutes' walk or a few stops by bus) and two subway stations within 10 minutes' walk. Safe and clean neighborhood - less touristy area with nice apartments with small supermarkets nearby. Good wine store (Nicolas) at the corner near subway. Delicious and ample breakfast spread with pastries, cheese, fruits, yogurt and unlimited coffee/tea included. Clean rooms. His helper Linda was also fantastic. House is tastefully decorated and contains many historical elements. Check their website for more details. Highly recommended. Would stay here again. Merci beaucoup, Christophe!

My friend and I were just looking for a place to stay near Roland Garros to watch French Open tennis matches so we were not expecting much. What a pleasant surprise to find this unique boutique jewel of a place in the 16th arrondissement. Christophe, the owner proprietor, was a warm and welcoming host filled with Gallic charm. His staffer, Linda, was gracious and always on the lookout for our comfort and ease. The whole place is designed in a very eclectic manner with so many interesting paintings. books and Parisian bric a brac. The room was comfortable and clean and the property even has a pretty garden. The 16th is a quiet leafy ‘locals’ neighborhood with nearby markets and cafes and, best of all, devoid of tourists! The villa is also very conveniently located near the Jasmin metro which made getting around Paris very easy. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

This was an amazing place to stay in Paris! I cannot recommend it enough!||1) It was in a less touristy area of the city, which I adored. The streets were quiet, the buildings historic and picturesque, and the shops small, authentic French shops. ||2) Christophe was an amazing. He gave great recommendations, was very attentive, and answered any and all questions we had. ||3) The house itself was wonderfully historic (yet clean!) with a beautiful spiral staircase, moody lighting, and comfortable rooms. ||4) The breakfast each morning was scrumptious. ||5) While in a less touristy area, we were still very close to all the big attractions and monuments of the city.

It was our first trip to France, and much looked forward to. We’d arrived at Charles de Gaulle airport and made our way hesitantly across Paris by train, bus, and métro. Walking from the Jasmin station to the Rue Raffet, our fatigue and anxiety melted away in the entrancement of the location — its beautiful residential architecture, its quiet, the promise of a delightful holiday, our introduction to Paris. Then we arrived: the door opened, and we entered a sanctuary of charm, ease, and friendliness. The Villa du Square has a delightful character that expresses the vibrant personality of its owners and staff, who always showed us their interest in us and their commitment to making our stay as pleasantly memorable as possible. They succeeded. We were comfortable in our room, the breakfasts were delicious, and the conversations with the proprietor Christophe Gicqueau and the other residents were richly informative. We always felt utterly welcome and at ease. What a memorable stay. We dream of returning someday.

The place is located in a very nice neighborhood, calm and quiet. The interior is furnished stylishly, comfortably and tastefully. My room was large, bright and comfortable. I was greeted with a cup of tasty tea, although the staff had a problem with communicating in English, which was a slight challenge. During my stay there was no internet, which was problematic for me because I was on a business trip.

Villa du square je jedinstvena. Posebna. Mjesto kojem cu se sigurno vratiti.
Cijela atmosfera stvara osjecaj porodicnog doma. Pocev od samog izgleda vile i soba, koje su uredene i dekorirane na jedinstven nacin do naseg domacina Kristofa. Sve to zajedno cini jedan tako lijep i topao ambijent.
U svakom slucaju rado preporucujem Villa du square.

We stayed at Villa du Square in Chambre Deluxe jardin for three nights in late September, 2022. This delightful boutique hotel did not disappoint. Everything was done to put the comfort of the client first. The historic house reflects the owner’s attention to detail, from decoration to a well-planned book of information in each room, comfortable bedding and a great continental breakfast. This is in a quiet, off the main track area of Paris and is a very desirable place to be. No crushing sidewalk crowds. There’s a small Auchon grocery steps away along the street. Wonderful restaurants are only blocks away and you’re centered two or three blocks from two metro stops. We felt safe walking in the area and particularly enjoyed shops, cafés etc. along Av. Mozart and in the upscale Auteuil neighborhood.
Our room was quiet, bright and cheerful with a large window overlooking the garden terrace (rain prevented us from enjoying the courtyard) and a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious with 2 sinks, large tub and great walk-in shower.
The petit déjeuner was well presented on a finely set table, generous wIth croissants, cake, baguettes, yogurt, butter, jams, cheeses and more. The coffee was made to our specific desire and was delicious.
Owner and host, Christophe is charming and friendly, ready with many local restaurant recommendations and helpful with getting around Paris (making reservations) and especially knowledgeable regarding airport access.
We hope to visit Christophe and Villa du Square again. Three days was not enough to do the area justice.

Villa du Square is a wonderful & beautiful place. A house with a loving & familiar interior. Incredibly beautiful photographs and with a lot of love for small details. The owner is very nice & helpful. It won't be the last time I've been there. And can really recommend it.
