A very typical Paris hotel. Clean and basic amenities. The room was equipped with your basic needs. A fresh bathroom and a comfortable bed. No extra frills.
The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The one thing that I would mention is that the hotel is not very well sound insulated, so you hear every word of what is spoken in the corridors.
I recommend this hotel nevertheless.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel and the staff. I felt very welcomed and at home. I cannot wait to return. Absolutely do not pass on the breakfast. The neighborhood is lovely.

**Back again and lovely as ever!! Again won't stay anywhere else in Paris.

A hidden gem. The Vieux Marais welcomed me with open arms when I needed to stay an extra night in Paris. The characterful property was clean throughout and well maintained. Guillaume and his family (the proprietors) went above and beyond to ensure my every need was met. Guillaume even came with me to show me where the nearest underground car park was in my car as there were temporary roadworks at that time with confusing diversions. I have and will continue to recommend the Vieux Marais to friends. It is within walking distance of all that Marais has to offer. My room was immaculately clean and bright. Top marks and great value for money.

Hôtel agréable, bien isolé phoniquement. Tous les employés à qui j’ai eu à faire étaient super. Et la patronne a été particulièrement sympathique et arrangeante. Je recommande vivement !

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful during my stay in Paris. It is located on quiet street of Le Marais which is truly amazing because you are close to everything and the same time it is quiet. It was very important for me to have restful nights as I came to Paris for work. My room was big enough, clean and with really comfortable bed so I had nothing to complain about. Big thanks to great staff and very nice owners who I had a chance to meet and talk to. Definitely will be back!

Friendly staff. Good location. Easy to get around tourist attractions. Clean and tidy rooms. Good that no food or smoking is allowed in the rooms because the rooms are odorless and fresh. Taxi to the airport can be arranged. Breakfast less eventful but a lot of places around to eat out at. I would go here again!

Tip: breder aanbod dranken (water, frisdrank, wijn) voor op de kamer en aub vervang dat archislechte bier (Heineken) door een beter aanbod.
Kamers in orde.
Vriendelijk onthaal.
Super ligging.
Charmant hotel.

1er abord, quand un type me dit on ne fume pas dans la chambre, on ne mange pas dans la chambre, j’ai envie de lui dire d’aller se laver la bouche. Ensuite quand je quitte l’hôtel et qu’il me rattrape au vol pour me demander de lui remettre les clefs, j’ai envie de lui jeter dans la g… les hôteliers en France se permettent des choses que l’on ne voit nulle part ailleurs. Bien évidemment, je ne recommande pas et je ne reviendrais pas.

Me and my wife had a great weekend, the staff were absolutely perfect, they made our weekend the most pleasent, there hospitality and room was amazing, thank you so much for having us and thanks for getting us back to the airport on time.
