This was the best meal I have ever eaten. Very local and french. Wine list was bigger than some phone books. Impeccable service. Fantastic experience. Met the chef to thank him. Fantastic meal!

This review is for the restaurant. Great dining experience. The food is amazing! The staff and service were exceptional. Definitely well worth the price, especially for a Michelin Star restaurant. Highly recommend!

Le dîner au Logis de Cadène m’a permis de découvrir le chef Thibaut Gamba qui décline une cuisine haute en couleurs et délicate à la fois. Cet homme bienveillant et exigeant dans le choix de ses produits maîtrise parfaitement la justesse de ses cuissons. Je ferai seulement une remarque eg les sauces doivent sublimer les plats et non pas les noyer.pour obtenir un parfait équilibre dans les plats. Le Chef Thibaut vient d’arriver au Logis il y a à peine une semaine et le travail effectué est remarquable.

Vraiment excellent, je me félicite que la direction ait choisi d’investir dans ce super chef, Thibault Gamba, au parcours déjà très impressionnant ! Ça se ressent clairement dans les assiettes. Le service est également très agréable, sans parler des vins, bien évidemment ????

Quand des passionnés du beau et du bon unissent leurs compétences pour se mettre au service de « donner du bonheur à ceux qui viennent à leur rencontre », cela peut ressembler à ce que nous avons vécu lors de cette visite…

Une incroyable expérience culinaire en découvrant les tables du logis, ce fût un véritable voyage de saveurs !
Nous reviendrons sans aucune hésitation découvrir le menu 7 temps lors de notre prochaine visite !

Un repas délicieux ! Le nouveau chef à la manœuvre nous a régalé par sa recherche et sa précisons. On ne peut que recommander. Le restaurant conservera à coup sûr son ⭐️

Great place for a long lunch in St Emilion. Food was great and service first class

Good taste and wonderful wine pairing

The receptionist was so helpful to organise dinner before our late arrival and even managed to help us with our heavy bags late in the evening before finding us a table a very short notice in hotel's exquisite restaurant. The maitre D Jean-Charles was beyond encyclopaedic. His knowledge of local and French wines generally was professorial. The location was fabulous but be warned if you are driving that the car park is not close! This minor setback is more than made up by the quality of the accomodation and food!

Parking near the hotel is not easy. The steep slippy pathway down the hill was dangerous but once we reached the hotel everything was wonderful. Celine came up to my car and carried down all the luggage. The staff could not have been more friendly and the wonderful dinner we had in the restaurant deserved the Michelin star. Saint Emilion is a charming town and it was so nice to be back there again.

The hotel is stunning; great location. And we had a view of Kings Tower from our room. Check in was a challenge, we had rented a car, the hotel has no parking, and parking is impossible on the streets during weekends. There are not staff to help with the bags, and there is a step path the only way down to the property. The rocks are so slick, and path so step, there are metal hand rails down the middle to hold. Then there are 10' gaps in the railing. Try managing that with 2 40lb bags. While we were checking in, the paramedics were attending a women who had slipped and fallen and cut her head open, it looked quite bad. If you are elderly, or have a disability, I would recommend a different property just for this reason.

There are few staff members, the ones that are there are friendly and attentive, efficient. Our air conditioner remote ran out of batteries and the TV remote was dead too. There was no one at the front desk all day and night Saturday, so new batteries were not available until Sunday evening. It was 90 degrees during the day.

Compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Paris and Bordeaux, the breakfast was a very small selection of breads, cheeses and cold cuts.

The Wi-Fi worked well outside of our room, but would not connect inside our room.

The location is fabulous; among the best restaurants and shops. We had an amazing meal at the hotel restaurant on Friday, but it was closed for dinner on Saturday and Sunday

If we return to Saint Emillion and we ????would. We would find somewhere a bit more practical for us 2 senior citizens to stay at.

I can honestly say that my Wife and I have never been treated as well as we were at Logis de la Cadène. From the beginning to the end we had the most incredible time. It started with the support the team gave us when our flight was delayed by nearly three hours and landing past midnight. As soon as we landed they called to ensure that we knew where to go as they had organised a taxi driver for us to wait until we had landed to take us straight to the hotel. The driver also took us into our hotel and got the room key and envelope were all sorted and in the hotel which was very very helpful and reduced the stress of travel. The hotel the room was incredible and had stunning views of the town with all amenities. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with full table service too. The staff were absolutely outstanding and always so helpful. We had one of the best dinners of our lives in the restaurant with the 7 course tasting menu and wines to match, of course with the wonderful sommelier. It was an incredible experience throughout the evening from start to finish.

We couldn't recommend Logis de la Cadène highly enough to anyone looking to visit Saint-Emilion. It's in the prime position to experience many of the wine bars, restaurants and wine shops, but also for easy exit of the town to visit other wineries on the northern sign of Saint-Emilion (Pomerol for example). Also, it's very close to the tourism office which was a huge help for us too.

We can't thank the staff enough for making our trip so special and we will most definitely be returning soon!!
