Stray dogs that are left to wander freely around the hotel and restaurant, not what I expected, we even complained but none of the staff bothered to shoo them away. The hotel was tired and could be with a refurb, rust showing on the buffet counters and broken sun loungers keep being put out, despite clearly unusable. Staff need to be more engaging, tables left with dirty dishes and not reset, saying that kitchen staff are wonderful and friendly all the time. Beautiful location, lovely room and amazing view from the bed.
UPDATE: spoke to managers and sun loungers are to be replaced and they agreed about the dogs and will engage staff to clear them from restaurant areas.

We visited Paul et Virginie for our Honeymoon as we loved the boutique, small hotel feel.
We had some minor issues with our room upon our arrival, but this was quickly sorted by hotel Manager Ludovic, who couldn't do enough to help us. The spa massages were incredible, the views breathtaking and genuinely all staff could not have gone out of their way more to be so hospitable and polite.
We have visited Le Germain restaurant most days, having paid for a Privilege room. Koushan and his team have been amazing, nothing has been too much trouble, his customer service is second to none and he has given us impeccable service on every visit. Not to miss anyone out but other servers to note have been Sanjeev, Aushek & Yogesh who have served us with a smile and brilliant service every night. The kitchen staff have been amazing, breakfast, lunch & dinner have all been delicious and I cannot rate their food enough.
A shout out to Prakash & Pawan on the bar, delivering bespoke and yumy cocktails throughout our stay.
Thank you to everyone who made our honeymoon so special and to everyone (whose names I'm sure I've also missed but there were too many to name everyone!)
We also visited Grand Baie, went horse riding on the West Coast and a catamaran at Ile au Cerfs during our visit - it was a great first visit to Mauritius and the people here are genuinely lovely. Would highly recommend ????????❤️

Super hôtel, avec des sévices au top, les chambres mériteraient d'être "rafraîchies" notamment sur l'insonorisation côté rue.
La salle de bain est vieillissante mais tout à fait correcte.
Je recommande car bon rapport qualité/prix.

Hôtel calme a la piscine et sur la plage mais bruyant dans les chambres qui donner sur la route.
Hôtel loin des points a visiter: le morne, vallée des couleurs, Alexandra , les cascades ...
Chambre a rafraîchir avec possibilité de trouver malheureusement des cafards dans la douche ...personnel averti mais pas de réelle réaction ...
Petite plage avec fonds vaseux non agréable ...très déçu par cet aspect ..
