Really good food, inventive menu while remaining true to the classics. Very friendly staff and a great view from the terrace. If you travel to Cefalù I definitely recommend it!

Best restaurant we have been in Sicily thus far, way better than others with higher ratings. The food, service, and atmosphere are spectacular. If you like family style cooking, with classic setting and service, don’t miss out!

Fantastic food. Super friendly staff. Best view on the Cathedral of Cefalu you could imagine.

La sala esterna è davvero ben curata ed è proprio davanti al Duomo. Il cameriere che ci ha servito è stato molto simpatico e gentile. Antipasto di frittelle con gamberi e panelle davvero consigliato, e primi di pesce saporiti e con ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Anche la lasagna era davvero buona nonostante non sia tipica.

We loved this restaurant, we sat here for a few hours and we were not rushed in any way. You have a great view towards the Duomo and the food and service was wonderful. A gem!

Zu Empfehlen, super Essen, super Ambiente drinnen wie draußen, absolut rühriges Besitzerpaar, machen scheinbar alles möglich. Wurde schon von vielen Berühmtheiten aus Politik und Schauspiel (z.B. Brandauer, Papst Pius)

Sehr guter Service, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Das Essen war sehr lecker und schön angerichtet.
Und zum guten Schluss wurde uns unsere Einkaufstasche, die wir vergessen haben, durch die Stadt hinterher gebracht. Dafür ganz lieben Dank!

After failing to get into a few restaurants I. The old town in Cefalu we found our way through Google reviews to Ostario at the foot of the steps at the Duomo

As we there approximately 8pm we had about a 15 minute wait, which was reasonable for a Sunday night

Once seated and menus and aqua was acquired, the hard decisions were to be made from the menu

Predominantly seafood, it was a wonderful selection to choose from.

The pasta delicious, the risotto was amazing, the tuna carpaccio fantastic

The wine topped the aqua a constant

The service was fabulous, even some language lessons and a steady line of comedy was happening

Overall a great night out, enjoyed by o e and all.

Even waddled down the roadway to a fabulous place for Gelato

Do your self a favour- step up and into this beautiful little restaurant

Sono stata proprio ieri in questo ristorantino davvero carino, di fronte al duomo.
Location fantastica !!
Eravamo in due e abbiamo preso un' insalata di mare, fettuccine al gambero e pistacchio e spaghetti allo scoglio.
La pasta davvero ottima , saporita al punto giusto e ben condita.
L insalata di mare era anche buona ,ma avrei preferito meno aceto.

The staff is absolutely impolite, drove out to eat in the rain due to the fact that all the tables next to our cafe were wet, and we occupied them dry. Don't go here!

Trascorro le mie vacanze a Cefalù ormai da molti anni, ma solo di recente ho scoperto l'Ostaria del Duomo. Il cibo è ottimo, soprattutto i piatti di pesce, e il personale professionale e disponibile. Ringrazio in particolar modo Marilena e Davide per la loro squisita accoglienza.

Restaurant Osteria del Duomo à Cefalu en Sicile - Italie
Le restaurant Ostaria del Duomo fait face à la Cathédrale. La salle de restaurant est joliment décorée de cadres et photographies. La terrasse couverte, quant à elle, permet de profiter de la vue sur la magnifique Cathédrale. L'accueil a été très bon, le personnel est très souriant et affable tout en étant rapide et efficace. Le repas s'est composé d'une entrée de fruits de mer copieuse et délicieuse, d'un plat bien garni d'une belle tranche de thon frais servi avec une sauce aux olives et une salade composée (principalement salade et tomates coupées), le tout exquis, et un dessert. Un cadre très agréable, du personnel aimable, une cuisine délicieuse : j'y retournerai sans hésiter !
