This is definitely one of the best restaurant in Sicily. Make sure you make a reservation before you go.
There is no outside area for sitting, but restaurant has very cosy and traditional interier.
Food is delicious. There is no big choice, but food is fresh and so full of taste.
We had rabbit and meatballs and I will never forget that amazing taste.
It's not posh, is traditional and classic food made with love. Like from your grandma. Definitely come to eat here if you wanna taste true Sicily.

The friendliest and warmest service in Cefalu, a very friendly town. Family owned and run with mother and son making an unbeatable team serving / hosting and chefing. Amazing food including meat and fish, with very sensible prices considering the high quality. Also best international language skills in town to accommodate tourists. Her Panacotta is world class ????????

Der Service ist freundlich und schnell. Die Speisen sind normal lecker, aber ein außergewöhnliches Geschmackserlebnis hatten wir nicht. Die Hackbällchen waren nicht ganz durchgegart, was sich auch gerächt hat. Schön wäre ein Hinweis gewesen, dass Cassata Siciliana hier ein sehr süßer Kuchen ist und kein Eis.

You might need a reservation to sit here and for a good reason! The food was amazing, first time I ever liked artichokes on a plate. Especially recommend the stuffed swordfish rolls. Take it from a person who normally doesn't go near fish: these are finger-licking-good. Absolutely amazing! Once again our compliments to the chef!

Great atmosphere and friendly attitude towards their guests! It is not the first time we have been to this restaurant, but I would like to point out that every time we leave with a cheerful mood, well-fed and satisfied. We decided to celebrate a birthday in this restaurant and the owner of the restaurant treated us to a bottle of Prosecco, which was very courteous and noble on his part, we thank him for this. Small menu but high quality and very tasty!

Nachdem wir drei andere Restaurants kennengelernt haben, gingen wir abends ins "La Brace". Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und waren sowohl vom Service als auch vom Essen begeistert. Daher folgten weitere Besuche im für uns besten Restaurant von Cefalù.
Neben der normalen Karte werden täglich zusätzliche Gerichte angeboten, die auf einer Kreidetafel gelistet werden.
Meine Highlights waren Zwiebelsuppe (Zuppa di apolle), Rinderfilet im Speckmantel (Tournedos a la brace) und Rigatoni mit Salccia.
Der Weißwein des Hauses (12 Euro pro Liter) war gut, dazu gab es öfter einen Limoncello.
Auch für Liebhaber leckerer Desserts war gesorgt, alles sehr gut.

I had dinner at this restaurant last night. The service was excellent and the restaurant interior was pleasant. The food was okay but not exceptional. I had sea bream done in foil with lemon and parsley, which was not that flavorful. The portion was modest and not as thick as my other experiences with orata. A few overdone vegetables accompanied my meal.
The salad with fruit was good although only iceberg lettuce was used. So the meal was good, but not great. Prices were very reasonable.

Clienti da ormai più di 3 anni, un posto come casa.. piatti semplici dai sapori autentici! Ci si sente avvolti da un aria familiare data dal personale sempre attento e sempre sorridente. Non mi sento di consigliare un piatto piuttosto di un altro, dovreste provarli tutti!

Calde Atmosfere tipiche del nord Europa. Pietanze e servizio molto curati, carta dei vini ben fatta. Complimenti!
Mi aspettavo un menù con più pesce però sono uscito molto soddisfatto.

Un'atmosfera unica, menù semplice e ricercato, gestori gentilissimi che regalano un'atmosfera familiare impagabile! Tutto ottimo, preparato a dovere e con amore! Ricordatevi di prenutare per tempo, non è facile trovare posto. Consigliato senza dubbio alcuno!

Ci siamo stati io e il mio ragazzo, sotto consiglio di un amico. Non ci aspettavamo una piccola meraviglia nascosta.
Piccolo locale a gestione familiare, partiamo dalla location, piccola ma molto suggestiva, accogliente con luci e colori caldi. Personale molto gentile e cordiale, la ragazza ai tavoli ci ha spiegato il menù in modo semplice e cordiale, alcuni direbbero menù ristretto, ma per me è sinonimo di qualità; cura del cibo, poco ma buono, perché ogni singola cosa che esce dalla cucina è veramente una prelibatezza e soprattutto, cosa importantissima: cura e attenzione al cliente (cosa oramai rara e dimenticata dagli altri) Ci siamo sentiti coccolati, grazie infinite ragazzi!
Ps: ritorneremo per assaggiare i fegatini di pollo!!!

Favourite restaurant we tried in Cefalu. Friendly service, delicious food at a reasonable price. Steak was particularly good. Best to get a reservation though, as we had to come back the following day. It’s also just indoor seating.

What a great place! Perfect trattoria experience. Lovely atmospheric interior. The food is unbelievably good - had the best pasta of our entire trip here (rigatoni with tomato, Gorgonzola and chilli). Very friendly and helpful staff who gave a lot of in depth advice about what wine to choose. Definitely give it a visit while in Cefalu. (Also bring cash if you want to tip afterwards because we discovered you can’t add it to the bill payment).

Everything was delicious. I would recommend to anyone visiting Cefalu. The Rigatoni was incredible. The Swordfish was amazing.

Wij werden dit restaurant aangeraden door een locale persoon, omdat wij uit Nederland komen en de eigenaars ook Nederlands zijn. Wel super belangrijk om een reservering te maken want ze zijn echt heel vaak vol! We kwamen aan en werden super vriendelijk begroet, sfeer is onwijs gezellig, veel rood maar dat heeft echt iets charmants. We hebben echt zo lekker gegeten!!! Serieus het beste tijdens onze hele vakantie niet omdat ze uit Nederland kwamen maar eerlijk de flavor combinatie was zo goed! jammer dat we ze niet eerder hadden gevonden.

If you visit Cefalu then Le Brace is a must. We could not get a walk in table but managed to reserve a table for the next night.
We were not disappointed, the food was excellent and easily makes my top 5 meals of all time.
If you get a chance then go.

Bon plan à Cefalù !

Tout petit restaurant dans une petite ruelle pavée du centre historique de Cefalù. On y mange du poisson ou de la viande de qualité ! Pas de terrasse sur la mer pour ce restaurant mais bon rapport/qualité/prix ! À recommander !
