We'll start with how lovely and helpful our server Madeline was. Such a wonderful human who guided us through the menu so confidently it showed how much she actually liked the menu herself! Anna the manager was also a delight.

Now the food... It was so beautifully presented I didn't want to eat it! But then, once we'd tried it, everything disappeared pretty quickly. Each dish was beautifully and delicately put together to bring about such a great combination of flavours. We had the tuna tartar, the ravioli and the steak (which was absolutley devine). The wine was also wonderful. One of the nicest experiences we've had in a while. Thanks to everyone involved!

I took my husband to Boulevard to celebrate his birthday. Everything was impeccable from the services to the food. We had a 3-course dinner. He was raving about how great everything was. Glad the restaurant has been survived all these years. ????

Beautiful and classic restaurant with great food and drinks. The service was phenomenal, the food mouthwatering, and the atmosphere incredibly chill. We had a fantastic time on our date night here. Highly recommended to try their lamb!

A wonderful prix fix dinner ! Server was good enough but when he promised to come back to verify our desert desire, he never did .. he brought out the desert he thought everyone would want .. there’s 4 of us .. we don’t all want the same thing .. I just but go as I was plenty full & didn’t really care if i didn’t have dessert

Disappointing, starters were very good, but everything was down hill from there. Filet was of poor quality and they tried to cover it up with sauce. Great wine list but very overpriced, bring

This second part is in response to the owners response to my original review "We would also like to know which specific bottle you felt was overpriced. John's wine list is a good as it gets" First, I stated the wine list was great with a very good selection, but that's not where I had the problem, the pricing that is over 100% mark-up is what I have an issue with. And it's not that I "felt" it was overpriced, I KNOW they are overpriced. Just 2 Examples: I purchased the Hartford Court Pinot for $88, retail price for this is between $30-40 and you most like get quite a lower price thru your distributor, so over a 100% mark-up. 2016 Melville Terraces Pinot I think you had it priced at $175! I'm a member at Melville so know their wines very well, it's a great bottle, but retails for at the highest $80 and again I'm sure with your distributor discount you got it for much lower, so I would estimate a 200% mark-up. Look, I know the restaurant business can be very low-margin, but if by marking up the wine list is how you get by that's your business, but don't come off like you don't do it. This is why I suggest anyone going to you restaurant to BYO and pay the corkage, just posting it as a community service. Have a good day. :)

Food was mediocre at best (medium steak was rare, very rare) and the service rushed us through like we were at McDonald’s…even though there were loads of empty tables all around us on a Wednesday night.

Staff hovering to clear plates as you’re clearly still finishing your course.

Very disappointing.

I have been curious about Boulevard Restaurant located in The Audiffred Building at 1 Mission Street for years, so when friends invited me to join them there, I jumped at the chance. The atmosphere, enhanced by its Art Nouveau theme, is very welcoming, as is the wait staff. With a tasty martini in hand from the full bar, we were escorted to our table which, happily, seemed to be in a location where we could hear one another. Next time I will make notes about the unique features of each dish, but alas, all I can offer now is that every bite was delicious!

Another amazing dinner at Boulevard last night. We were seated immediately for our 5pm reservation and started off with one of their signature cocktails.

Dinner is prix fix so we selected our starter, main, and dessert. After being offered some of the 4 bread options, our starter arrived. The remaining courses followed at a timely pace.

Everything was delicious and impeccably done! The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. We will definitely be going back again soon.

Prix Fixe with a comfortable amount of food. Dessert Beaucoup Berries had possibly the best sorbet I've ever enjoyed.

Modern vibe in a classic atmosphere and service outstanding.

"Old School Fine Dining" still does exist!

頭からビールかけていただきました。おかげで、ディナー食べれずに帰る羽目になりました。
ほかのメンバーにケイタリングでコースいただきましたが、すでにMac食べた後でどうしろと・・・
部屋ににおいが籠り大変なことになってしまいました。翌朝食べましたが、味がしない完全な修行モードです。

2024年2月25日現在謝罪なしです。

Beautiful restaurant and solid food. Very nice staff. Our food came out cold though and I find the main dining room priced too high now that it’s only offering a 3 course (app, main, dessert) for $120. I find that kind of system boring and cookie cutter. Good for the restaurant since it can secure $120 an head and it can help pay for the pretty building, but as a diner you are underwhelmed by what you get.

our vice president got splashed beer by waiter's accident and totally soaked. He could not help but come back to his hotel,left bussiness partner in this restaurant.He went to mcdonalds instead of your dinner.
It was very awkward time for me as his staff, and compensation was inadequate.

Food was awful, could barely eat. Starter of tuna was ok, just about, main of sea bass was like frozen fish badly cooked, dessert was out of a packet.
Nobody asked why we didn't touch our food, clearly it's normal for people to leave it

We grabbed drinks and a couple of bites at the bar. Cheese plate and the drinks were pretty good. They charge a 6% service fee as part of their bill. When I checked my statement after, they ended up overcharging using the tip. Would make sure you check your statements after you dine.

Yes, the dinners are pricey and it is a fixed price menu with plenty of options for appetizer, main, dessert. But the food, service, ambiance were outstanding. For a special occasion, I am hard pressed to think of a restaurant that equals Boulevard.

5-Star Shout Out for 12.19.2023. We were celebrating the holidays at Boulevard by sitting at the Chef's table/bar for dinner. What better way to decide what to order. The holiday decor & atmosphere was very comfortable, homey & lavish. We started with a split of the Hebrart champagne to accompany two starters, the Duck Liver Mousse and Ahi Tuna Carpaccio. Both were fresh, generous portions. After watching the chef preparations right in front of us, Constantinos, our server, confirmed our selection of the Filet and the Pork Chop as house specialities. He was 110% correct. They were both delicious as confirmed by 2 empty plates with few crumbs. A lovely Pinot complimented the selection. We rarely eat dessert but had watched the painstaking preparations during our whole stay and could not resist. The Tiramisu and Devils 7 Layer cake were out of this world. Fortunately, half of each went home with us. We highly recommend our selections and seating near the amazing chef & staff. JnJ
