Petit boutique-hôtel près de Fisherman's Wharf proposant des chambres assez étroites et en espace lounge réaménagé sur le toit

Atmosphère décalée pour ce petit boutique-hôtel à 5 minutes à pied de Fisherman's Wharf, mais sur une route avec beaucoup de passage (amateurs de calme, passez votre chemin). Les chambres sont assez étroites, mais l’accueil est sympathique et on apprécie les petits plus de la maison : petit déjeuner inclus bien sûr mais aussi et surtout verre de vin ou de bière offert dans le lobby ou sur le rooftop de 16h à 18h. On aime aussi les cheminées dans toutes les chambres et le toit réaménagé en espace lounge, pour des apéritifs avec vue !

Favorite part is the rooftop bar, with amazing views of the bay! Rooms are fun but small, limited amenities, and the location of the hotel is great and within walking distance of the water and main downtowns but it's right next to a very loud and busy road so it's not great.

Good experience. The elevator is very janky. The breakfast was good, wish they had more non-pork meat options but very happy with the red velvet waffles. And great parking.

I booked the petite doll room for $160 but room was not good enough for the price. I like the wall color, curtains, and the bathtub, but this is not a 4-star hotel. There’s no city view like the website says. We were looking at the window/wall of a nearby building. The bathroom lightbulb was broken. There’s no table/chair/coffee machine in the room. Limited $15 hotel parking as well. No refund or free upgrade available. So we ended up staying at another hotel and came back for breakfast. The breakfast was wonderful. Got the tacos and pancakes. So changed 1 star to 2 star.

Spent 2 nights in a second floor king room. Room was clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar and grill was great. The food was way upscale for bar food and the bartender treated us like old friends. Breakfast was amazing! I kind of felt under dressed in the dining room but my worries were put to rest when the manager told me not to worry about it. The street in front of the hotel is very busy but the rooms are quiet and comfortable. We visit Monterey once or twice a year and will definitely stay here when we are in town.

Update: The manager, Tony, was very nice and accommodating. He helped us to store our luggages and agreed to waive our $20 upgrade fee to comp for the condition of our room. Hence, I have updated my 1 star rating to 3 stars.

Original: STAY AWAY. Room is extremely old and dirty. There are hairs in the bathtub and spiders in the room. I would not recommend any one to stay here.
