We had a lovely stay! Fantastic location, so close to the Valletta city centre, and amazing views from the hotel!
The staff at breakfast could be more friendly but the breakfast food was very nice and lots of choice.
Little issues with our room missing towels and toilet roll, but reception sorted it out quickly. We also got woken up one morning when house keeping knocked on everyone's rooms to offer more water/towels etc but we were asleep, not great to be woken up for no reason.
Our room was very big and clean and comfy bed.
Overall we had a great stay and would recommend.

A pleasant stay however staff are a bit rude and do not exhibit traits associated with a 5 star hotel. They came across as indifferent and preferred to gossip behind the bar then serving guests.

Breakfast was average, ran out of ketchup and again indifferent staff.

The room was dated but clean, toilet was constantly running and taps were loose.

Purtroppo non lo posso considerare un 5 stelle per le seguenti mancanze: camere con mobili vecchi, sciacquone del wc poco funzionante, mancanza di bidet e anche di spazzola wc
ma soprattutto qualità del cibo al buffet colazione insufficiente, non degno di un 5 stelle con prodotti di scarsa qualità
talvolta. Niente welcome drink all’arrivo ma nota positiva sono la posizione, la vista, le sale lussuose dell’albergo e la piscina.

Awful experience. Very old furniture. Terrible service. Extra charges were made to me through my visit. They offer you breakfast tickets for extra cost which you can’t use afterwards because they can only be used at a specific place at a specific time.

The organisation/reception/concierge do not work together well, we had to wait 7 hours for a room, when on the internet we found 30 free rooms...then we finally got a room at 3pm, but our luggage was not there nor did they find it so I had to go look for it myself... the early bird breakfast, though, was great and Jordan who welcomed us was very welcoming!

Overall a good stay. The hotel looks tired on the outside and albeit grand on the inside it needs modernising. It was painfully hot during dinner and the conference so think the air con is struggling. The staff were very polite sharp and attentive and deserve a lot of credit. Good location walking to Valletta. Thank you very much for the stay.

Πολύ ωραίο ξενοδοχείο με όμορφη τοποθεσία και την μαρίνα από κάτω που είναι εξαιρετική και πολύ όμορφη να τη βλέπεις από επάνω. Ίσως λίγο οι τιμές στα δωμάτια να είναι παραπάνω από όσο αξίζουν.

Hotel de 5 stele, dar cam prafuite ca in toata Europa din ultimii ani. Foarte frumos pozitionat. Intrarea in hotel este ok pentru ca trebuie sa cobori cred ca mai mult de 100 de trepte sau o panta destul de serioasa. Iesirea insa... e la deal :)) In toata insula fiti pregatiti sa urcati si sa coborati pante.

Top hôtel où tout est très grand : le hall, les chambres, la piscine . Service haut de gamme où tout le personnel est souriant et efficace. A 5 mn à pied du centre ville de la Valette. Idéal pour ceux qui veulent associer visites et détente.

Hotel lussuoso e confortevole. Prima colazione pantagruelica. SPA ben attrezzata con diverse prestazioni a disposizione dei clienti. Ho goduto di un conveniente sconto promozionale per cui giudico ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. C'è inoltre l'accesso diretto al mare...e non è poco. Lo consiglio senz'altro.

The hotel is outdated. There is no way this is a 5 star hotel. At check in there was a long queue. The hotel was built at the highest quality standards back in time, but now it needs some updates. The pools are fine, the access to the sea is using some stairs, but you get clean water with fish. In the room I got just 2 sockets and one had some connection problems. There are no sockets besides the bed. I called in the morning room service and asked for an iron board and I got it on the second attempt when I personally went to the reception in the afternoon. The breakfast is great. At check out they tried to add a restaurant consumption of 86 EUR for my wife, but have given up on that quite easily. The hotel location is within walking distance to Valletta, bus stops and the ferry terminal, but this depends on how much you enjoy walking.

The hotel is well located to explore Valetta on foot and also quite close to the bus station should you wish to use public transport to travel further afield.

Check was simple and quick. We were advised that 150 euros would be debited to our account for expenses and the balance would be repaid to us on check out.

Our room over looked a roof so not a great view but it was large and the bed was very comfortable and cosy. Tea and coffee making facilities are available and the water was complimentary which we thought was a great touch.

The bathroom was large and well furnished with a large bath and separate shower which was great. Except our shower leaked over the floor and water ran out into the carpet area which got soaked so you did not want to walk around in bare feet. I reported this to reception.

The breakfast was just excellent with a great choice of food either continental or English breakfast. It is all buffet style but you can get your eggs cooked to order. There is plenty to eat and I have to add it is one of the beat breakfasts's we have had in a hotel.

The bar was great with a wide selection of drinks. Bar staff and for that matter all hotel staff were excellent i.e. pleasant and friendly.

Overall a great place to stay just a pity about the leaking shower.

Interesting place, old type hotel, like in the old movies; a little strânge the policy: first they are taking the money, the warranty ( IT s good to let cash because otherwise they forgot to give it back without written motive) and then they tell You to walk till the 16.00 to be able to enter in the rook...by the way, breakfast doesn t include a simple espresso...cheap way of thinking
