It's a resort property with multiple swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor, as well as a full service health club with a spa. There's also a 'beach club', although there isn't an actual beach; just a rocky coastline from which you could, in theory, launch yourself into the Mediterranean.
The rooms are a little past their prime, but well maintained and spotlessly clean. I'd highly recommend booking an executive room if possible, with access to a lovely club lounge. It's large enough to accommodate guests without feeling overcrowded and offers a full breakfast buffet, afternoon tea, and a happy hour.
It's the staff that really makes this hotel special, though. Every single interaction was personable and professional, and we felt truly welcome as guests, particularly in the Executive Lounge. Special shout-out to Anastasia, who went above and beyond to extend our stay due to a lengthy flight delay.
You won't go wrong booking the Hilton Malta.

a) das Bett war entweder nicht korrekt montiert oder schon alt und morsch. Jede Bewegung auf dem Bett mache großen Lärm, als würde das Bett zusammenbrechen. Und das obwohl die Matratze absolut gut war. Da muss nachgebessert werden .
b) Hunde im Hotelzimmer? Ist das wirklich nötig? Direkt im Zimmer über uns war ein Hund mit untergebracht, dessen lautstarkes Bellen uns wachhielt. Dazu wurde er wohl tagsüber auf dem Balkon alleine gelassen, was ebenfalls zu Dauer-Bellen führte....das sollte im 5-Sterne-Hotel nicht sein. Oder vielleicht in einem gesonderten Flügel, wo nur Hundebesitzer untergebracht sind.
c) die Ausbildung der Servicekräfte (beim Frühstück). Zuerst nach dem - nicht leeren - Teller oder Glas greifen und dann fragen, ob man fertig ist - so geht es nicht. Wer will dann schon weiter essen, wenn das Geschirr angetatscht würde...
Ansonsten fühlten wir uns gut umsorgt und jederzeit willkommen. Und ja, wir kommen gerne wieder!

We are disappointed to have fallen short of your expectations in some ways. Of course we are sorry that you found your bed uncomfortable as a result of the noise it was making. Please do reach out to our team members if you should have a room-related issue during a future visit, as we are always happy to provide solutions/alternatives to ensure our guests are comfortable in their rooms. Our Maintenance team will investigate this and make the necessary adjustments very shortly.
Likewise, while our hotel is Pet-Friendly, we do have a Pets Policy, and appreciate pet-owners' support in ensuring the pet does not disturb other guests. We would have been happy to discuss this with the pet owner in the room above yours, so please let us know of any such issue in future, and we shall gladly assist.
Finally, we thank you for your feedback regarding our service at breakfast. Your comments have been shared with the Breakfast team so we can look into re-training for our newer team members especially. We appreciate your bringing this issue to our attention.

Le sable mis à côté de la piscine pour faire comme si il y avait une plage très mauvaise idée il y en a partout dans la piscine
Les transat sont collés les uns aux autres ( nous y étions début août )
Dommage que le quartier où il est situé soit très sale pas agréable pour se balader surtout avec des enfants en bas âge bcp de clubbeurs de bruit
Ne passez pas par l hôtel pour les excursions nous avons eu une maivaise expérience on propose des excursions inadaptées à des enfants à une famille avec enfants la commerciale ne connaît pas ce dont elle parle
Elle propose une sortie en bateau avec traversée de 45mn alors que c était 2 fois plus à l aller et idem au retour pas sérieux je crois qu elle s appelait Anne

We thank you for your feedback regarding our main pool and the sandy area next to Aquabar; of course we vacuum our pools regularly but during the busy August days we appreciate that the sand may get into the pool until we get the opportunity to clean it in time for the following day's activity.

What it is?
A 5-star hotel gave a guest breakfast package full of mold, and I called, but there was no answer? I asked for a crib, but they left it outside? The blanket was a towel^^.... How many times do you have to call the reception and follow up? The name Hilton is less than two stars.
I received a billion breakfast package for the flight, but do you give me moldy mixture? In a 5-star hotel?
It's not 5-star.. Dinner is fine dining and it's not very tasty.. It takes 2 hours to have dinner ^^.... The atmosphere is not good. Reception staff are very slow. I've called several times, but they don't act until they go to the reception ^^.. ... It takes all day when you call. A 3-star named Hilton. The swimming pool is poorly managed and they can't even follow their own rules... A great party. I won't come again. It's not worth it.

We specifically asked for a room with a bath and freestanding shower and our room 719 was as requested. Thank you Rachel. It was spacious, and comfortable, with a large balcony and a stunning view overlooking the sea and the marina. Katia cleaned the room with meticulous attention to detail and we were very happy with her work.
In general the staff were friendly and helpful especially Amy and Carlos in the executive lounge.
We have stayed 3 times before and as diamond Hhonors members we usually take the adequate free breakfast in the executive lounge. However on this occasion we decided to pay extra to try the more comprehensive breakfast on offer in the main restaurant. We were disappointed overall with this decision as the food service area was badly organised with queues for eggs blocking all of the other hot food on display. Tea and coffee was also mostly self-service and unless you found a waiter to get this you were not able to get a pot of tea only a cup. It seems a little known fact that waiters who mostly just clear the tables would bring various poached egg recipes from the kitchen to the Hhonors diamond area. Even though the breakfast restaurant was fairly large it was overcrowded during this period of high occupancy.
The executive lounge serves an excellent afternoon tea from 3pm to 4:30pm and unimaginative evening canapes with free drinks from 5pm to 7pm
The hotel has a spa with an indoor pool, sauna and steam room as well as a couple of outdoor pools and a beach club with more pools (closed for the winter). The gym is well equipped and busier than in most Hiltons.
There are also many restaurants and bars nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay in Malta.

We are sorry to have fallen short of your expectations in some ways. Please do reach out to our team members if you should require anything for your room, including the removal of minibar items, during a future visit. We have filtered water faucets in all our rooms - to eliminate the use of plastic/glass bottles, one of our environmental goals - but we do provide bottled water if the guest requests it. We are also always happy to provide amenities, extra bedding or towels, or make other arrangements to ensure our guests feel at home in their rooms.
As you know, we thoroughly searched your room and the surrounding area for your ring, as well as all housekeeping materials that were removed from your room after it was vacated. Sadly, though, it was not to be found, and we are very sorry for this.

Die Poolbereiche sind riesig und bieten ausreichend Platz, um sich zu entspannen und die Sonne zu genießen. Alles ist stets sauber und gut instand gehalten, was zeigt, wie sehr das Personal sich bemüht, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bieten. Die modernen Einrichtungen runden das Gesamterlebnis ab und lassen keine Wünsche offen.

The hotel is built in a crescent shape, and this necessarily entails some distance from the main Lobby and the public spaces to the furthest rooms at the edge of the hotel footprint; but our team members are keen to direct guests to their desired locations, to assist, and, if necessary, to offer alternatives. Pool trotz Außentemperatur von 28-30 grad nur max. 20 grad kalt !
Die Liegen sind schmutzig und der Boden drumherum ist so schmutzig das man wenn man aus dem Pool zur liege geht, schmutzige Füße hat.
Frühstück ist wie in einer Bahnhofshalle laut und unübersichtlich , Speisen 10 Tage immer gleich auch immer das gleiche Obst , das Highlight waren die smoothies, Omelett in der gusspfanne war grauenhaft hatte immer schwarzes an meinem Omelett von der Pfanne.
Zimmer okay, sauber und gut ausgestattet , aber genau darf man auch nicht hingucken.
Hilton 5 Sterne ist eher ein schlechtes 4 Sterne Hotel
Wir würden nie wieder das Hotel buchen.

We provide a full buffet breakfast in our main restaurant, with salads, breads, pastries, cereals, fruit and yoghurts, cooked items including omelettes made to a guest's preference, and local items. We vary our range of items from day to day, with the aim of meeting as many of our guests' tastes and preferences as we can. We are sorry that you felt there was insufficient variety; please do reach out to our Chefs during a future visit, if any of the cooked items does not meet your expectations, or if you wish for a particular item - we often serve items straight from the main Kitchen which may not be on display in the restaurant. Certainly your visit was during a very busy period, and some times are busier than others at breakfast, so we advise guests on the best times to join us for breakfast if they wish for a quieter experience.
We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time at the pool. Our outdoor pools are at ambient temperature, as the climate in Malta is hot enough that guests wish for a refreshing experience in the water; but we do have a heated indoor pool, and we hope you enjoyed that during your stay.
