I'm Bonvoy Titanium, I had a reservation for two rooms. One became an apartment with the help of SNA, and the other was also upgraded. The room was large, with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. I think the room itself and the apartment were renovated recently, but the bathroom was older.
The service was excellent, they gave us two connecting rooms - not something that has happened to us in a very long time in the Marriott system.
We also had breakfast, it was a buffet and quite varied.
I highly recommend the hotel.
BUT… the hotel needs a major RE-DO!!
The rooms are large but wow the furnishings are old and shabby, the carpets dirty and the beds and sheets have seen better days. Furnitures throughout is very dated and in disrepair. Yes I know we are in Rome and it’s old!!
Breakfast is fantastic with excellent offerings.
Staff is alright. Concierge lacks in ability to book tickets for any venues. Most hotels are able to at least assist with this. Although one concierge did say that he would telephone to make a booking for us.
Big concern was a doorman who seemed to have a “deal” going with a less than honest cab driver. We asked for a cab to the Vatican and were up charged €35 from this Tesla driving cabbie. Our return cab ride with another company was €12. That’s a BIG difference. The doorman was furious when we said we wanted to call an Uber when we were leaving today. We saw his Tesla buddy waiting in the parking area at the front of the hotel. Beware!!

ヨーロッパの歴史を感じました。
The room was great, lots of space and light, large balcony with the nice view. Bed was very comfortable, We really enjoyed breakfast, lots of healthy options, high quality. The omelet station was great, freshly made, truly delicious.
Great location, close to everything. We walked all the way to the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain, Piazza Navona, Gallery Borghese, Vatican... all within reach. Ah, almost forgot, walk two blocks up and cross the street for the bit of Dolce Vita at the Harry's Bar... and make your best Marcello impression...
We really appreciated hospitality, we'll stay again on our next trip to Rome.
One thing to add... what I also liked was the efficient communication with the hotel through email, as well as the Bonvoy app chat. I sent a question via email to the front desk manager and got response very quickly. Also, as our flight got delayed, I sent comm through the app and once again, response was quick. Much appreciated.
