Great location and Rooms. Nice pool. They charge an extra "resort tax" even if you dont use the pool neither the beach.... quite unfair and an unpleasant discover at checkout. The hotel seems always a little bit understaffed. Very nice bathroom and shower.

Honestly super disappointed for a “luxury hotel” they couldn’t even check us in on time, our too. That was off of the pool had no deadbolt/chain lock when other rooms did, they did install it but as men they don’t actually understand safety and how they installed it my BF was able to break in. Which they also promised security would make extra rounds since we had no real secondary lock, yah no one noticed my BF breaking into the room. Food at the restaurant all is pretty bland if you are going to eat there do breakfast only. I have felt after at extended stay hotels then here. Over all very disappointing in my experience with this hotel.

From the moment I stepped foot into the lobby, I was met with an air of indifference from the staff. The receptionist, in particular, was incredibly curt and seemed utterly disinterested in assisting me with even the simplest of inquiries.

Throughout my stay, I found the staff to be consistently unhelpful and downright rude. Whether it was asking for extra towels or requesting information about local attractions, I was met with nothing but disdain and impatience. It's as if they viewed every guest as an inconvenience rather than a valued patron.

In conclusion, I would strongly advise against staying at The Lennox Hotel if you value even a modicum of hospitality and professionalism. The staff's attitude alone is enough to ruin any semblance of a pleasant stay.

Nothing but cons! One of the worst hotels I have stayed at in the past 4 years.

The front desk staff was extremely rude. Zero empathy and seriously in need of training when it comes to communicating with guests. Here's a further breakdown on why to stay anywhere else in South Beach:

The Pool:
The pool is tiny
Do not expect to get a lounge chair unless you get it at 9am
Screaming children all day is not my idea of a holiday

Valet
Valet is slow - 35 minutes to get my car?

Rooms
The rooms are tiny
The rooms are extremely noisy

The staff
The staff has zero listening skills
Zero empathy

The Restaurant
Short Staffed and slow

Check In | Check Out:
The Lennox Hotel's strict check-in and check-out policy, while aiming for efficiency, ultimately hampers customer service. The inability to accommodate guests' needs beyond set timings leads to frustration and missed opportunities for exceptional service. Travelers seeking flexibility and warmth may feel alienated, highlighting the hotel's need to strike a balance between efficiency and guest satisfaction. Revising policies to allow occasional exceptions and emphasizing empathy in staff training are essential steps to enhance customer experience and loyalty.

Staff is nice. Rooms are nice. Some big hiccups and seeing if they are able to help. They let us know we could have an adjoining room since we booked two rooms. We vacated one room and went to the beach. When we came back they gave that room to someone else even though we were told it was notated in the computer. One person said not their fault and the other front desk person said sorry we don't know what happened. They said we will ask them to move rooms and they told us the occupants agreed. Then we were told they went to dinner and we will talk to them when they get back. Sorry again!
I will finish review when we see what final results are. So far we wasted an entire day sharing a room with four people based off their yes/promise

Even if you cancel your reservation before the required deadline, they lie and say they refunded you the money when they did not. The person I talked to was extremely rude telling me to calm down when he was the one raising his voice and not letting me finish my sentence, when all I was asking for was a copy of the information showing they had refunded the money. He said there was no support, just a note that it was refunded. Of course there was no support, because they did not refund the money.

** Follow up... No refund was received. Call to credit card company confirmed this. No email about refund was received, only an email confirming the cancellation.

Maids will wake you up knocking the door asking at what time you’ll leave, when we complained about it the reception did not even care about, that’s the hotel’s way.
Be aware that the hotel valet parking takes about 30min to get your car. And it’s NOT 45USD as they say, the hotel charges you 55USD + taxes.

Believe the negative reviews. This is NOT a luxury hotel. Spend your money elsewhere. After a long travel day, we found dirty folded towels in place of clean towels in our room. Housekeeping cleaned 1/4 days we were there. Staff did not turn over towels on pool deck and guests (even if wet) are asked to go to front desk for dry towels when on pool deck. Given lack of customer service, the resort fee is basically a way to increase room price and make you think you are booking a luxury hotel. Let me assure you, this is not a luxury hotel. We brought up concerns with Nara, who identified herself as management level. That was 2 weeks ago and we are back home. There has been no follow up and no acknowledgement of substandard experience.

Stayed at Lennox for our first time visiting Miami. The hotel is beautiful, clean, with amazing service! Check in and check out was very easy.

Very close to the beach and a lot of cute restaurants around. 10-15 Uber to the clubs. We had the best time!

It’s a pity that service is not up to par with the location and facility of the hotel. They are VERY strict with their check-in time which is understandable but the way the employees communicated the information was quite rude and condescending. When we asked for a higher/upper floor, the woman at the front desk pretended she didn’t understand what we were saying. (Maybe because we are Asians?) It only got worse when my mom asked for water. She was told that she should go out and buy water for herself and was called off when she reacted to their rude attitude. We didn’t make a big fuss out of it so that it doesn’t ruin our entire trip but considering the $$ and level of facility, I would expect more from the hotel. Not to mention, there are a plenty of hotels that are equivalent if not better than Lennox.

We were pleasantly surprised by Lennox. From the exterior, hotels in Miami Beach can be pretty hit or miss. The location was perfect, one block from the beach. Some better signposting to the beach amenities would have been good but we figured it out.

It's like you are literally in the middle of everything. Ubers were not too expensive. The hotel was chic and comfortable with a lot of style. They also have a golf cart to take you to the beach and within a mile of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel with a nice pool area and close to the beach, where you have access to a private beach area.
We stayed in a deluxe room, which was nicely furnished, but I could have wished for better space to hang long dresses. The hotel is located in a quiet area, but close to everything.

Do not book this hotel - if there’s extra revenue to be made at the expense of a guest, Lennox Miami will jump on it.

My fiancé and I booked 6 nights for Dec 25-31 2023. We made this booking 8 months out (Apr 2023), well in advance.

8 weeks after our booking we get a message stating that the hotel had made an ‘obvious mistake’ with their rates at the time we booked Lennox Miami, and they were asking an additional $200USD per night in order for us to keep our reservation - a 49% increase from the initial rate we booked at. Back when we had booked, Lennox Miami had very comparable rates to the surround hotels - nothing about their rate hinted at it being an error. Having paid for our booking we considered our reservation a binding contract as the hotel had accepted payment. We relayed this to Lennox Miami, and that we are not paying an additional amount.

With no response for several days, we then suddenly got a cancellation email. No communication or follow up prior to, just a straight up cancellation.

Seeing Lennox Miami’s recent reviews it’s clear that this hotel’s service, quality, and standing has dropped. The way we see it: my fiancé and I dodged a bullet.

This hotel is mediocre and their service is nonexistent. The surrounding hotels have better quality, more consistent reviews, and proper communication with their upcoming guests.
