The good: The location has beach access, which was a big plus for me. Lot of reviews seem to have had issues with the staff but that wasn't the case for me. Every interaction I had with staff was positive. Beach towels are provided with a card you get at check-in. Just make sure to get that card back when you return your towel. Rooms were also very spacious. Beds were comfortable. Water tastes ok and the hot water works fine. There is also a free trolley service nearby as well.
The Bad: Dining options are very limited. My room had a kitchen but if you plan on using it there are a lot of basic things you won't have. There is no dishsoap, coffee filters, sponges, papertowel, napkins, salt, pepper and sugar. There is a dishwasher but they only provide two pods. Towels are also rationed very heavily here. I stayed at some sketchy places that still managed to provide more towels than this place did. Our room was also right next to a heavy door to the stairs, which would make a huge bang every time someone used it. There is a little playground in the courtyard I would not recommend letting your kids play on. I saw a piece of the equipment just sitting on the floor the whole time I was here. I'm guessing it was to keep the play equipment stable because I clearly could see it leaning towards that broken peice.
The Ugly: There is a lot of ugly here. I mean a lot. Don't let some of the photos fool you. The carpet in our rooms were vacuumed, but stains were easily visible everywhere. Everything felt like I was staying at a resort in the Eastern Bloc. A lot of work needs to be done to this building and rooms in general.
I found a giant hairball on my toilet seat when we arrived and gum stuck to the nightstand. My husband would give the hotel a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating— it wasn’t terrible— but it wasn’t great.
