My wife and myself needed a place to stay for a few days to complete a series of testing at TGH. I chose here taking a chance on short notice. Mistake. Ordered room service food first night there after a long drive. Also a mistake. Up all night sick with vomiting. Had to reschedule a whole days appointments. Room has issues. Weird balcony door locks. Only half of a shower door so floor gets wet. Bathroom doors don't close all th way. Worst drywall work I've ever seen. In room refrigerator barely cold. Bring your own food, snacks and drinks because what they charge for the inroom stuff is robbery. Financial shock upon checkout. Lack of full price disclosure when I made reservations directly with hotel. I had short notice and didn't do enough research on options. I found out later that many fine places close by offer discounts for TGH
patients and family. Manager Mia doesn't care about guest satisfaction. Told us that " we picked the wrong place ". Well no sh!# Mia. You don't belong in a management position. Not only won't we ever be back, neither will everyone else we know.

Hotel Haya was everything we needed it to be for a short weekend stay. Delicious coffe spot attached and friendly employees. Our room was very clean and the hotel location was great. It is a loud area though, if that’s something that will bother you. We got tickets to the pool party through Resort Pass. FYI- the cabana is shaded for most of the day, so if you want sun, I don’t recommend paying the premium price for that. Special shout out to some of the employees who treated us great, Jabari & Aries!

Stayed here to be close to Cruise Terminal boarding. Nice location, nice place, extremely great Customer Service (Page) at check in.
Wished they would have had transportation to cruise ship terminals available. Although local free trolley passed near by.

BE AWARE BE AWARE BE AWARE.
I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO Don’t waste your money find something else.
Everything was wrong from the beginning, the employees were not friendly, not willing to help but we had no other option to stay. The room was very uncomfortable, dark, it smelled damp and dusty. The walls had mold. The doors had rust. A few minutes after arriving, my partner and I started having an allergic reaction we had red bumps all over. Ten minutes after arriving, we called the reception to cancel the reservation and Kennedy told us they can’t do anything contact the third party , even mentioning the allergic problems we were experiencing due to the lack of cleaning of the rooms. The response we received is that they do not give refunds .When we called the third party they called the hotel and also refused to cancel. We decided to lose the money and not put our health at risk. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL. TRASH TRASH TRASH HOTEL

This is an exceptional hotel! I found it online, and the pictures looked nice, so I booked my 4 night stay there. I was pleasantly surprised that it is even better than I imagined. I had originally booked a Haya balcony king, but I wasn't sold on the layout (bed in the middle of the room) so I asked to switch to a courtyard king. Very smooth transition.
The front desk are excellent. The valet service were also fast and attentive.
The neighbourhood is wonderful with lots to see on a stroll down 7th ave. Highly recommend exploring this historic area.
I would only stay at this hotel if I was to return to Tampa in the future.

PS: after reading some of the 1 and 2 star reviews, I can only say that someone will *always* complain about the littlest things (holes in the concrete...lol, didn't get my card perks... waaa. Shower only had half the glass... its supposed to be like that, use a bath mat).
Seriously fragile people that will never be happy.

Beautiful ???? environment Elegantly designed interior, located within Historic Ybor the heart of Tampa. Great place for dining, meeting up with friends, great for your family visiting during the holidays or anytime. Good location for visitors of Tampa, with charming trolly transport within walking distance. Cafe opens at 7am good place for early coffee meeting ♥️

When I enter a hotel my first impressions that stand out with me are the interactions with the staff. Valet greeted us with a smile and were very helpful. Front desk, not so much. There were 2 young ladies at the front desk that looked miserable. There was no one in the lobby and they were fixated on their laptops. One clerk was wearing an oversized t-shirt and did not look up once during our entire check in. There was barely any interaction other than when I asked a question. Not a good start and not very welcoming especially for a >$200 per night hotel. Lobby is modern, clean and opens up into very nice area that includes 2 restaurants. We had a couple appetizers from the main restaurant that were tasty. The room was clean and looked appealing but was small and had several inconveniences such as no coffee maker, no chair to sit at the desk, no ice machine on floor and only 2 bath towels which is just annoying. When I asked for more towels from a lady from housekeeping in the hallway she said "no speak no english", jeez. They have these artsy lights with long arms throughout the room that took us a bit to figure out were the tiny switches were hidden on these arms. The aesthetically pleasing shower was all glass and half open so water splashes outside of the shower. You feel cold taking a warm shower. Hotel Haya is a decent Hotel in the middle of not the best part of Ybor City. We initially considered staying another night but with so many options in and around the area we quickly moved on....

Awful experience especially for the price. First off you have to pay for valet parking and it is not cheap. Front desk staff was nice and courteous -no problems there. Then the room looks super cheap, I’m sure they will say it’s part of the charm and style but make no mistake- putting some cheap velvet furniture in a room does not make it charming- there are literal holes in the walls and ceiling. It is also a very small room. You need special directions to close the balcony door and turn on the lights. No shower door, bathroom door doesn’t close, bent curtain rods, tile floors. The bed
is low and very uncomfortable. Pictures online are deceiving, the lobby and restaurant look amazing but the rooms look like trash. Lastly be ready for loud noise all night long. Probably a great place to party but not if you are looking for comfort and sleep, look elsewhere.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel, despite its high price. The service was abysmal. Although the hotel itself looks beautiful and the rooms are decent, the management is a nightmare. They bombard you with messages, claiming you can reach out for anything via text. I requested housekeeping at 12:30 pm, and when nobody showed up, I asked again at 5 pm. Both times they acknowledged my request but did nothing. When I returned at 11 pm, my room was still untouched, and even a simple request for towels was ignored. I strongly advise against staying here. Find a better place that values its guests.

The bartenders for the Pride parade in the Quiquiriqui entrance were very shady. Drinks were being advertised for $10, but they were charging more and giving themselves a 50% “auto gratuity” if you paid with a credit card. This didn’t happen if you paid in cash. It’s a shady business practice and customers should decide how much they want to tip. I use to like this place and spoke highly of it before but now I’ll be weary about going here in the future.

I have referred dozens of people to the Hotel Haya in past, and one of my organizations regularly meets there. But today, I am furious with them, and I look forward to hearing the hotel's response to this complaint. My daughter's friend booked a wedding there this weekend and everything was coming together perfectly. The couple walked the plan with staff together last weekend. Then yesterday, TWO DAYS BEFORE HER WEDDING, she was cc:ed in a letter to all her vendors that there will be the Pride Parade commencing in front of the hotel at the same time as her wedding. It is the tenth anniversary of this parade so no way they did not know. She has had to cancel a vintage car pickup, change her plans for after the wedding, and inform all guests that traffic and parking will be a mess and they will now have to either pay valet or uber. The Hotel is taking NO responsibility for this and informed her by cc:ing her with vendors. I am furious that they would treat a bride this way and I encourage the hotel in the strongest possible terms to try and make this right before tomorrow. They can't make the parade go away, but they can apologize and find some other way to show remorse for their mistake in not allowing her to plan for this or choose another date. I am personally going to spread the word to everyone I know and blacklist this hotel until they do, and you can be sure all the guests at the wedding will do the same.

Very happy to have found this little gem of a property in Ybor city. Clean spacious rooms. Well appointed and clean. Nice large pool and fine dining on site. Breakfast area served some delicious coffee (my wife suspects that its starbucks brand). Valet parking was $37 per night. Included in and out access. There was no self parking available at the hotel but there are garages around the street. Despite being so close to the action it was very quiet. Would gladly stay again.

Not bad astteticaly. I took a shower and someones disgusting hair trimming backed up into the shower. Absolutely appauling to bath in someone else's "filth" we will say. Picture with the finger was the depth of the water at the farthest point of the shower.

Also there a bunch of clowns cruising the road with thier music as loud as possible.

Pretty ambience was a bit hard to get ahold of someone prior to our evening to talk about a special occasion. After multiple attempts, we were finally able to speak with someone to organize a promotion Our friend was having. the staff was lovely, but they sat is next to this window that really was disgusting looking. It had not rained that day, but the watermarks were all over the windows. for the price point of this restaurant and that their cheapest was $150. you would think that they could clean their windows a little bit more.

Staff were incredibly accommodating, went above and beyond from the time the Valet took my car to after I had left and forgot something at the Hotel. Rooms were wonderful, well appointed and very clean. I will not stay anywhere else when in the Tampa area.

First of all, I will return; I will just screenshot the rate at booking because it didn’t match the confirmation email. Nonetheless, the stay was amazing! Everything is so detailed and so beautiful. I love the texting before, during, & after the stay—perfect for adding special details or asking questions. Near the strip (girls trip to see Affion Crockett at Improv), yet it’s super quiet and feels secluded (request a room facing 8th, only sound was the trolley). Flor Fina, delicious and great service! Birthday candle to celebrate me. Completely forgot to photograph the gorgeous room with balcony!!
