The restaurant is very disppointing. There is a 70 euro pp fixed menu with four dishes, however, the first 3 dishes where not at the level of this pricing. Very basic dishes and not curated for the customer. Wouldnt recommend this is you want to have a good spanish meal. However, the restaurant ambience and decoration is lovely.

It’s a lovely hotel. It loses a star because of the restaurant. The food is good, nicely cooked and lovely staff. However, the concept of sustainability (you have what is available, no menu choices as such) is taken a bit too far because we stayed three nights and ended up eating exactly the same on all three nights. Although tasty I do like to try different things when I’m away!

Magnifique expérience à Son Blanc✨le lieux, notre chambre petite mais tellement bien organisée, le petit déjeuner! Et la piscine waouhhh, la vue ???? la nature pour nous tout a été parfait, je remercie aussi la disponibilité et la gentillesse de tout le staff de l’hôtel ???????????? la démarche écologique et respectueuse de Son Blanc est réelle et nous complètement séduit! Nous y retournerons!

Restaurant

Unfortunately had an extremely poor dining experience at the restaurant. We were sat close to the open kitchen area so could see the chefs working. The first dishes were served very spaced out from each other. Nevertheless, the main dishes turned out to be even worse. They were served to those around us, including people who arrived after us, and we were again left waiting wondering where our food was for a long while (note: in a restaurant with a closed menu, where reservations are taken in advance).
The chef realised he was short our main dish so had to cook it up. After an extensive wait our main dish was served, due to the mistake there was obviously not enough meat left on the joint (lamb) therefore we had a very small portion of end rough cuts at room temperature. The dish was very disappointing, also due to the fact the mushroom dish to accompany it had been put on reheat but was cold when served. Reminder we could see this as sat close to the kitchen.

When we complained about it, all we received were vague explanations that there had been an issue but no real rectifications were attempted. We expected a more professional handling of the situation.

In hindsight, we should have returned the dishes but we were the last serving (could see they had scraped together the meat) and the kitchen had began to tidy up. The fact the head chef was fully aware of the situation and took no rectification either added to the negativity.

We left the experience feeling highly disappointed and unsatisfied with the meal and service provided. I hope others have a more positive experience.

Upon arrival we immediately knew we should have booked a longer stay. What a truly heavenly place to unwind! The restoration of this finca and its land has been beautifully executed with stunning design elements both inside and out and that don't compromise on comfort. To be immersed in the beautiful Menorcan countryside, with the forest, ravine and sea views was wonderful especially viewed from the fabulous infinity pool. The aromas from the drifts of rosemary and lavender are a sensory delight and the planting in general is very tasteful. Son Blanc has genuine environmental values and credentials, sustainability is at its heart and its land ensures the tastiest of home grown produce. Son Blanc has a relaxed and friendly vibe, staff are just lovely and our whole experience was exceptional. Thank you for such a special stay, Son Blanc is a triumph and we hope to return next year when we will seek a room with a sea view.

A beautiful hotel - we spent a week here and loved every moment of it. The restaurant was excellent (the buffet breakfast is probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had), the pool is perfect (and has a stunning view over the sea), and the grounds around the hotel are gorgeous for exploring. The staff are also all really friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to come back!

UNA MAGIA. Sono stata a cena il primo di settembre ed è stato tutto molto buono e bello. Per mio gusto personale affumicherei un pochino meno, perché l'affumicatura copre molto i sapori delicati dei piatti. La proprietà è bellissima. Nessun dettaglio è stato lasciato al caso, merito di una ristrutturazione molto rispettosa ed attenta. Materiali ed arredi di gran buon gusto. Ci siamo anche noi italiani con i nostri prodotti (vedi sedie, tavoli ...). Arrivarci non è semplice, perché sei in aperta campagna e non ci sono indicazioni. Ma credo che faccia parte del gioco perché quando arrivi la vivi come una conquista, anche se forse un piccolo cartello che ti dice che sei nel posto giusto lo metterei. Non aggiungo foto perché consiglio di andare e vedere il posto con i propri occhi.

The whole experience felt like a dream, it was beautiful, wholesome and relaxing.

Upon our arrival we felt very welcomed, the staff is professional but friendly, which sometimes it's not an easy balance to execute. Throughout our stay we felt like home but much better, because we were pampered! Everyone got the job done in a smooth manner, and they didn't stop there, they went the extra mile.

The place is gorgeous, once I stepped inside, I was in awe of the architecture and interior design, it was so tastefully curated to even the smallest detail. It also felt real and unique, as opposed of other establishments that have a similar aesthetic (because it's trendy), but in their case it feels generic. You can sense how much work, love and care has been put in Son Blanc.

We stayed there in June, that's Summer in Spain, so it was obviously hot and the perfect weather to spend the day at the pool—which btw is so exquisitely built, they were so clever making it look as part of the landscape! At night it gets chilly and I even needed a cardigan when dining al fresco, the room was the perfect temperature and the fans were more than enough.

The food was absolutely delicious, I loved the fact that they use local ingredients (even grown by them), it enhanced the whole experience by making you be present, the here and now, feeling everything that Son Blanc has to offer.

We also loved the fact that this hotel has only a few rooms, making the whole experience quite and private, it felt luxurious without being pretentious.

Please, more eco boutique hotels like Son Blanc, less humongous hotels with the wrong meaning of luxury. Please and thank you!

Son blanc est tout d’abord un endroit magique baigné d’une lumière très particulière où se marient la pierre et l’argile de l’ile, l’ensemble de la ferme surplombant une nature verdoyante, vergers et cultures de la ferme. La vue est splendide et l’on devine la mer à l’horizon. Nous avons été reçus avec gentillesse et grande attention de la part de tout le personnel. La nourriture est délicieuse et l’on se reconnecte aux essentiels ce qui est probablement un luxe de nos jours. Non seulement nous recommandons mais nous serions ravis d’y passer nos prochaines vacances tant Son blanc et Minorque nous ont totalement conquis.
Bravo pour cette belle réussite et longue vie à Son Blanc.

Très belle expérience culinaire ! Très bel endroit. Nous avons pris un menu dégustation et franchement quel voyage au niveau des saveurs !

This is more than a hotel, a true experience of harmony with the local natural environment and cultural. All done with great taste bringing a sense of peace and great appreciation for a healthy Mediterranean lifestyle with great respect for the environment. Congrats to Benoit and his team for the thought brought to the project. The result is unique and world class. It does not hurt that food is in line: healthy and with great taste, all made with in house farm products. Ideal place to recharge.

No puc valorar l'hotel perquè només vam anar-hi a sopar. I va ser tota una experiència. L'espai és immillorable, un regal pels sentits. El menjar és un seguit de platets amb la línia de producte autòcton i cuinat senzill i sa. El servei, excel·lent. Ignoro el preu perquè vam ser, afortunadament, convidats.

Recientemente tuve la desafortunada experiencia de hospedarme en Son Blanc Menorca que resultó ser un completo desastre. Decidí darle una oportunidad a pesar de su elevado precio por noche, pero lamentablemente, el lugar no cumplió ni de lejos con mis expectativas.

Entendíamos que es un hotel "eco" o "sostenible", sin embargo, esto no amerita el alzado precio que cobran.

Para empezar, una de las cosas más básicas que uno espera al reservar una habitación es contar con aire acondicionado, especialmente en un clima caluroso. Las habitaciones estaban sofocantes y era casi imposible descansar o dormir correctamente debido al calor insoportable. Fue una verdadera pesadilla.

También, las toallas estaban constantemente sucias con manchas y signos de oxidación. Además, no solo eran incómodas de usar, sino que también representaban un riesgo para la salud de los huéspedes.

El servicio también dejó mucho que desear. El personal era poco servicial. No mostraron ningún interés en brindar asistencia con las maletas, ni interesados en saber sobre nuestra estancia en el hotel.

En resumen, no recomendaría este lugar, especialmente considerando el exorbitante precio que cobran por noche. Habitaciones sin A/A, las toallas sucias y oxidadas, y el mal servicio son solo algunos de los problemas que encontré durante mi estancia.

Que decir, un sitio que enamora!!! Los chicos y la comida son espectaculares. Tienes una manera muy minimalista y exquisita de manipular los alimentos y lograr una experiencia única!!

Beautifully in the loveliest of settings

An absolute gem of a place

Esperienza incredibile e impressionante. È difficile descrivere Son Blanc, bisogna viverci alcuni giorni almeno e “disfrutar” della cucina a partire dalla prima colazione fino alla cena della sera. E poi provare le tante attività che offrono in un contorno naturale così grande da risultare impossibile vederlo tutto. La finca antica è stata ristrutturata in maniera più che rispettosa della tradizione menorquina sia per i materiali che per l’utilizzo dei vari locali agricoli. Tutto il personale a partire dai ragazzi della reception ai vari chef di cucina (colazione , bar piscina, ristorante) è più che amabile, attento e si rende disponibile a esaudire ogni richiesta . Il tutto con un grande entusiasmo e amore verso questa meraviglia che si chiama Son Blanc

Un concept respectueux de l’environnement rénové magistralement. Une rencontre avec Laura et Mireila autour d’un dîner réalisé avec soin par Laura. Merci et bonne chance pour cette nouvelle aventure qui s’annonce magnifique. Un vrai privilège d’être les premiers à commenter cette pépite.
