O locație frumoasă, servire ok, probleme cu internetul se deconectează și merge greu, ușile de la intrare se trântesc pentru ca nu au sistem de autoinchidere iar patul scârțâie.

Beyond my expectations by far! A local brand that can top any chain hotel not only in Seychelles but also worldwide. Best stay in terms of property, cleanliness, location, room space, designs and details, services, facilities and on top of all of this customer care! From the moment you arrive to the hotel until you leave every single staff member will make sure that you are having the best experience. The breakfast and dinner are very divers, high quality and very tasty. Le café des arts has amazing views and different seating options, and also a rich menu. We were lucky to meet the owner of the hotel mr. Robert who was extremely nice, humble and keen that we get the best out of our stay.
I highly recommend staying in Le Duc de Praslin, it is worth every penny and i cannot wait to visit again!

Wir waren acht Personen in der Villa 270 Grad und hatten einen phantastischen Aufenthalt!
Housekeeper Sugan und sein Kollege betreuten uns dabei hervorragend. Viele Dank dafür!
Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr, sehr gut und reichhaltig und das gesamte Management und Personal sehr freundlich (besonders auch Ron, Front Office Manager).
Wir können das Hotel ohne Einschränkung weiterempfehlen.
Housekeeper Sugan und sein Kollege betreuten uns dabei hervorragend. Viele Dank dafür!

Ronduit een prachtige locatie, heel mooi aangelegde tuinen, mooie kamers, zeer vriendelijke personeel en een zeer goeie keuken, met name de Creoolse gerechten over heerlijk. Een lekker zwembad tussen de gebouwen, dus direct vanaf je terras bereikbaar, met bubbel functie en dan 50 meter verderop het strand en de zee. pal naast het strand is dan het A-la-carte Restaurant met tevens een bar en heerlijke tropische cocktails. Daarnaast is dan ook nog 3 keer per week een Beachparty met lokale DJ en een ruime dansvloer, erg gezellig en ook de hele tijd muziek voor alle smaken. Probeer wel een kamer op de hogere verdiepingen te boeken want het enigste wat een beetje tegen viel op de begane grond kamer was het terrasje wat pal naast de looproute ligt waardoor je regelmatig het idee kreeg dat er zo iemand binnen wilde lopen. Maar verder helemaal af.

We stayed at this hotel in October and I can say that it's a wonderful place that you'd want to return to! The hotel has an extremely convenient location. You can visit all the most famous spots on the island, as well as enjoy the incredible beach at the hotel. I can say that the scale and beauty are breathtaking. The beach is equipped with comfortable sun loungers and a relaxation area. There's also a cool bar where they make super drinks for you!
I want to highlight the hotel's interior, you'll feel a special atmosphere as soon as you enter the reception! We were definitely pleased with the rooms! Huge, clean, and bright rooms that have everything you need for a good rest. The hotel also provides beach bags as a gift for your convenience. There's a luxurious balcony with an ocean view where we spent many warm and cozy evenings.
The hotel has a swimming pool and a beautiful relaxation area near it. During the hot part of the day, we loved to relax there.
I want to mention the hotel's restaurant and cuisine separately! It's just wow! Every day there was something special! Grill, sushi, lots of desserts, and tasty wine! The staff is extremely responsive, which makes this place even better and warmer!

Un endroit magnifique, reposant . Le service est au top , la cuisine très digeste et très variée . Il y en a pour tout le goût . Le personnel est très professionnel. Je remercie Gabriella, Stephanie B, Keisha et aussi Tina et Allyssa, les merveilleuses masseuses . Bonne continuation.

La chambre Océan ne fait jamais 55 m2 tout au plus 40 m2

Perfect location, close to the harbour, close to the famous beaches and boat trip departure.
You will have to choice between the quiet area and the modern building which then seems both super great.

Had a bad experience dealing with this hotel. There were too many flies inside the room. At least you expect the reception desk to support you on such matters but the lady who handled the call was so rude and least bothered about the problem which is there. Good property but service level is 2/3 star level.

We are sorry to read about your bad experience. It is a bit surprising as we usually do not have complaint about flies. As we are in a tropical environment, we always suggest the guests to close the windows or turn off the lights when you are sitting outside to avoid attracting flies.
Nevertheless, we take good note of your point regarding the way the lady answered and will address this point with the designated manager.

This is NOT a 5-star hotel!
You will be welcomed with:
* Unreasonably long wait at the reception while being eaten alive by mosquittos with no mosquitto spray available at the reception (traditional Seychelles service from 1990s)
* Water outage notices (understandable for a self service chalet or a 2 star accommodation - but hotels above that have to solve these issues instead of notifying guests)
* Poor cleaning practices - 2 of 2 rooms we had were presented with dirty bedsheets at check-in
* Swamp smell and many mosquittos in the territory of hotel due to multiple standing water areas
* Cost-cutting on every corner, including turning off the AC when the room key is with you (leading to soaking wet bedsheets), lack of bathroom slippers and no local workers / chefs
* Poor food selection - only unhealthy (soaking with oil) options for half board dinner
* Disco at night with heavy bass outside of the new 'ocean' rooms, organized by the hotel itself with no soundproof windows and no regard to guests' sleep quality.
This is not a place even remotely comparable to real 5 star hotels like Lemuria or Raffles on Praslin. At half the price, you get 1/10th of the value. Don't fall for the 5 star rating and low price, and better book either a nice self-service chalet, or go for a proper 5 star accommodation.

Nous garderons un très beau souvenir de cet hôtel ! Le personnel est adorable, efficace et souriant. Belle prestation pour le restaurant + Petit déjeuner.
La plage est toute proche ainsi que quelques commerces, guichets de retrait.
Pratique, l'hôtel se charge de contacter le loueur de voiture pour vous.
Accueil parfait de la part de Ron dès notre arrivée.

Hôtel à la décoration remarquable, on fait vraiment "wow" quand on arrive. Idéalement situé, 15min Anse Lazio, 10min du ferry, 15min de la Vallée de Mai. La gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel a réellement été un plaisir (merci plus particulièrement à Ron). La restauration est excellente et d'une grande qualité. Deux piscines, un front de mer qui appartient à la côte d'or. Un centre SPA, où les massages prodigués nous font perdre la notion du temps. Bref nous avons été dans notre bulle tout le long du séjour. Un gros + pour le directeur, qui vient se présenter et savoir si nous ne manquons de rien. Un petit bémol pour la chambre 14 où la vue donne sur les toits des bâtiments en dessous, mais très honnêtement nous n'étions même pas dans la chambre la journée alors ça ne nous a pas dérangé. Si nous sommes de nouveau de passage aux Seychelles, nous reviendront ! Et félicitations pour les 5 étoiles vous le méritez !!!

Unfortunately, you omitted to give details upon Saturday evening which I will remind here.
On Saturday 04/11 the hotel held a beach party organized on the beach in front of the hotel facilities.
This was a public event, open to both tourists and the local community. The set up and service on that evening were unusual as we had installed stalls directly on the beach to allow to cater for the big crowd.
I am sure that you understand that what you experienced on that evening was not a drink at the hotel bar and that what you are rating is not the hotel service.
I do not believe that you can compare and rate the service at a public beach party under the hotel listing. And we will contact Google on this matter.

Wir haben mit unserer Familie (Teenager) im Juli 2023 wunderbare sechs Nächte im Le Du verbracht (One Bedroom Familie Suite, renoviert, Obergeschoss - kein Strandblick). Absolut tolle Lage. Schmucke Anlage mit gelungenen künstlerischen Details. Nette Pools (derjenige in Strandnähe - mit whilrlfunktion - den Erwachsenen vorbehalten). Toller Service, nettes Personal. Geniales Ambiente im Restaurantbereich, insbesondere am Abend. Gute Ausgangslage für Ausflüge. Dazu besser kein allzu grosses Auto mieten, kleiner Parkplatzbereich. Wirklich traumhafter, flach abfallender Strand. Achtung: Aber je nach Jahreszeit Stachelrochen möglich. Mit der nötigen Vorsicht jedoch problemlos. Würden das Hotel wieder buchen. Meines Wissens einziges Hotel in Besitz von Seychelloise. Besitzer begrüsst Hotelgäste noch persönlich!

Hôtel super ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. La nourriture est bonne. La plage de l’hôtel est magnifique, ainsi que les deux piscines.

Affacciato su Côte d’or Beach, una delle più belle spiagge di Praslin, Le Duc e’ un moderno hotel adatto a chi cerca relax e al contempo anche divertimento.
La struttura si sviluppa su più zone:
Un corpo centrale dove è presente l’area ristorazione, la piscina centrale e le prime sistemazioni, una zona dove sono presenti delle bellissime garden suite affacciate su un’altra piscina e un’altra zona adults only di più recente costruzione con a disposizione una piscina riservata solamente alla clientela adulta. Bella e panoramica anche l’area gym e spa.
Direttamente sulla spiaggia è presente anche il Cafe’ des Arts, un bellissimo beach bar dove spesso vengono organizzate feste serali con dj set
Le stanze sono ampie e ben arredate: la mia garden suite era un’oasi di pace.
Menzione particolare per la cucina: buffet serale davvero di qualità, con prevalenza di cucina creola e qualche proposta internazionale. Colazione con stazioni di live cooking e ottima offerta di dolce e salato. Molto bella la location del ristorante circondato dalla natura.
Le Duc de Praslin si è rivelata la struttura perfetta per scoprire le bellezze dì Praslin, senza rinunciare alle coccole e alle attenzioni di una struttura di livello

This hotel definitely is far more than a 4 star. It should be a 5 star. Amazing food. Some of the best I have tasted and amazing staff. Grounds are beautiful too

무엇보다 직원들 대부분이 친절해서 괜찮음
아프리카 특징인지 모르겠는데 대부분의 현지인들이 친절하다는 느낌은 못받았음
아주 조그마한 풀장이 있어서 가볍게 몸담그기 좋음
1분 거리에 바로 해변인데 스노클링 포인트는 없음
대신 건너편 섬에 포인트가 있으니 주변에 가이드들 눈에 보이니 흥정하길

Das Hotel Le Duc ist wirklich ein super schönes modernes Hotel.
Es besitzt über einen Zugang zum Strand, eine Poolanlage, grosses Fitnesscenter und diverse andere Dinge. Das Zimmer war wirklich sehr schön eingerichtet und man hatte alles was man brauchte.
Die Auswahl beim Frühstück und Abendbuffet war zahlreich und alles schmeckte hervorragend.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Leider muss ich 1 Stern abziehen da wir seit Tag 1 Probleme mit unserer Zimmerkarte hatten. Sie funktionierte nicht und die Zimmer sowie auch die Fitnesstüre öffneten sich nicht. Ich war ungefähr 10x an der Rezeption in den 4 Tagen wo wir da waren. Ich wurde nicht ernst genommen und man sagte mir ich kriege eine neue Karte, die Dame an der Rezeption ging ins Büro und kam mit der gleichen Karte wieder. Dachte ich sei blöde und merke dies nicht. Ich habe besseres zu tun als täglich 3x zu Rezeption zu laufen.

Schönes, an Deko etwas überladenes, Hotel in direkter Strandlage. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Beach Front Gebäude (neuer Teil) gebucht, das konnten wir allerdings aufgrund von Feucht- und Schimmelgeruch und Flecken an der Decke nicht beziehen. Es wurde uns dann ein weiteres Zimmer in dem Komplex angeboten, aber es stellt sich raus, dass dort gerade gestrichen wurde. Nach etwas hin und her (die Damen an der Rezeption durften nicht alleine entscheiden und mussten immer Rücksprache mit anderen Personen halten) haben wir dann ein großes Superior Zimmer mit Blick auf den Garten bekommen, was halb renoviert war. Am nächsten Tag haben wir gesehen, dass das Zimmer, was wir zuerst bekommen sollten, auch gestrichen wurde. Also den neuen Gebäudekomplex besser meiden. Housekeeping war immer ordentlich und alles war vorhanden. Wir hatten HP gebucht und das Essen war wirklich top von der Auswahl und Geschmack, egal ob morgens oder abends. Tagesausflüge lieber außerhalb des Hotels buchen, die sind dort zu teuer.

Hotel stupendo a due passi dal mare, un luogo stupendo con personale molto cordiale e gentile. Camere pulite e molto ampie, tutte ristrutturate di recente. Servizio teli male gratuito che vengono cambiati ogni sera. Ristorante a buffet internazionale, grande varietà e ottima qualità. Unico neo l'acqua non inclusa nella cena. Un vero paradiso

Hotel spettacolare. Cibo veramente di livello a buffet, si trova ogni tipo di pietanza è sono tutte squisite. Personale gentile, disponibile e professionale. Camere ampie ben arredate, 3 piscine, ottima palestra e spa. Basta attraversare la strada (15 metri) per ritrovarsi su una delle spiagge più belle di Praslin. Veramente meraviglioso in tutto e per tutto

We were staying here as part of our honeymoon. The staff were great! Lovely people and service, the food was great also. Highly recommend ✌️

I would like to start off by saying that all of the positive reviews are true. We stayed at the hotel for 9 nights and we were exceptionally satisfied with everything!
We have never met such friendly, kind and helpful staff in our whole lives. The owner Robert was very amiable and talkative, and the receptionists, including the manager of the reception, were always eager to help. The staff responsible for cleaning our room did a great job, the waitresses made sure we were always well served… everyone took great care of us and we couldn’t have been more satisfied!
When we arrived, the receptionist asked us about our special dietary preferences. We requested vegan food, and we were catered amazing food throughout our whole stay! The dishes were delightful, extremely tasty and of high quality, with the breakfast being rich and involving many options to choose from. The drinks at the bar were also excellent and delicious.
Our accommodation was cozy, clean and nicely decorated. The garden in the hotel’s area was beautiful and wonderful to take a walk in, and the beach was one of the most picturesque beaches of Praslin.
Overall, we highly recommend you stay in this hotel if you were to visit Praslin! We felt as if our stay was out of a fairytale, and we are definitely planning on coming back!

The beach was clean and the water, too. Not many people at the beach so that the atmosphere was very relaxing. We even came back for some more nights because we really loved it there. Thank you all for unforgettable times at you great hotel!
