Musée sur 4 étages, à l'entrée de La Barceloneta, proposant une exposition permanente et des expositions thématiques
A l'entrée de La Barceloneta, ce musée occupe un vaste bâtiment en brique connu sous le nom de Palau del Mar. Jadis, le lieu était occupé par des entrepôts et accueillait les marchandises des bateaux venus mouiller dans le port. Sur quatre étages, on découvre l’histoire et la mémoire catalane, de la Préhistoire à nos jours, à travers des objets, documents et reconstitutions historiques. En plus de l’exposition permanente, des expositions thématiques y sont régulièrement organisées.
