Seems a little underrated traditional Greek restaurant. If you are fed up with souvlaki and gyros and want to taste real Greek food just get into... to taste Greek cousin sitting in the garden under some lemon trees. The owner made a plate with good selection of food, I really enjoyed every moment in this restaurant.

This is a delightful place to eat. My wife and I walked in not knowing what to expect. A man (who turned out to be the owner) started talking with us and explaining what food they had. After a little conversation, he said he would make us a lamb dish with eggplant and potatoes. All I can say is that, from first bite to last, it was delicious!
We enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden behind the restaurant looking at the citrus trees and relishing the cool breeze. The owner served us himself and talked with us for a while.
I already told some friends about this place and they enjoyed it too. I'll only be in Sparti for a week, but I'll eat here again before we leave.

Eine typische griechische Taverna. Mit einem sehr schönen Innenhof mit Orangenbäumen. Der Service ist manchmal etwas chaotisch, aber dafür sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten.

I've brought my family here, and they share my sentiment – we long to come back to Diethnes, where the heart of Greece beats in every dish, and the Spartan spirit lives on. A very nice typical place, good traditional food, a very Cosy garden restaurant. Nice people, and a whole family of turtoises to entertain you. A lovely place.

Nice tavern with local recipes and a nice backyard. We had burgers and Greek salad, excellent quality fair prices and very good service.
