Firstly I’m sorry for such a delay in writing this review and secondly THANK YOU! I engaged Caroline via email after a recommendation and was initially hesitant to use an agent as I’d always organised my own travel, and I’m Greek so why would I right? Well, from the very first email I knew I was in good hands. Caroline was so patient, understanding and helpful right from the start. The whole experience was effortless and stress free. The choice of accomodation, ferries , transfers etc was great and Caroline was responsive, efficient and delightful to deal with. I had a wonderful time and thanks to such a well planned trip( & beautiful country) I’ve decided to book another one in 2024! Thanks Caroline and the team- I appreciate the hours of work you put in and the effort to ensure I had a seamless trip with memories to last a life time - ευχαριστώ!

We used Tina at Thesaurus Travel, and there is no doubt that she helped create a seamless, safe, organized trip to Sifnos for our group of 12 adults! We were at a loss for transfers, and she arranged all of our taxis for us ahead of time. Even better, we asked if she knew of a private chef, and within a day, we had a menu and cost emailed to us. We booked the chef, and it was an amazing highlight of our entire two week vacation in Greece. Do not hesitate to contact Thesaurus Travel! You will rest easy knowing they have handled some of your details...all via email. Thank you, Tina, for your incredible response and professionalism!

Caterina and the team at Aegean Thesaurus did a fantastic job for our June 2023 trip to Athens, Syros & Tinos! They were able to accommodate our requests for various tours & excursions, and they handled all our taxi transfers, ferry tickets, and rental car arrangements; this meant less stress and more vacation time for us.

Επισκέπτομαι τη Σιφνο εδώ και σχεδόν 40 χρόνια, κάθε χρόνο την ίδια εποχή, για προσωπικους/θρησκευτικούς λόγους.

Τα τελευταία χρόνια, το συγκεκριμένο γράφει διαχειρίζεται τα δωμάτια που μένω τα 20 τελευταία χρόνια.

Πάντα κλείνω την ίδια ημερομηνία για την αντίστοιχη του επόμενου έτους και συνήθως άνω των δύο δωματίων.

Η εξυπηρέτηση ( κυρίως από τον κύριο Γιώργο) είναι απολύτως άψογη, επαγγελματική και σε κάνει να αισθάνεσαι ότι μιλάς στον αδελφό σου.

Συγχαρητήρια.
Να προχωράτε έτσι και να είστε όλοι καλά και για πάντα.

Τέτοια γραφεία λείπουν πραγματικά από την υπόλοιπη Ελλάδα.

Siamo arrivati a Sifnos senza alcuna prenotazione e in pieno agosto, per giunta nel tardo pomeriggio. Lo staff dell'agenzia, ragazze davvero molto in gamba, ci ha trovato una camera con vista sulla spiaggia di Kamares che abbiamo potuto visitare di persona e prenotare nel giro di pochi minuti. Il tutto a un prezzo più che equo. Transazione con carta di credito. Consiglio a chi voglia pianificare un viaggio a Sifnos di verificare disponibilità con loro ancora prima di cercare sulle agenzie di prenotazione online. Un paio di giorni dopo ci hanno anche miracolosamente trovato gli ultimi due biglietti per Amorgos. Quindi assolutamente da consigliare!

We have already returned home after the trip to Greece organized by Caterina. The hotels and transfers have gone very well. The hotel in Athens was very central and allowed us to go everywhere on foot, including the Acropolis. One of the afternoons we took a tourist bus that allowed us to see all the city. The connections by ferry and plane and the rental car was also perfect. We already knew Athens, although this time we were surprised that there were so many people. We liked Naxos a lot, especially an excursion to the temple of Demeter and to the inland towns, we ate in Apeiranthos and another excursion that we did to the other part of the island, where we bathed and ate in Apollonias. Thanks for helping us have such a fantastic trip.

Aegean Thesaurus Travel provided the absolute highest level of service in planning a very special anniversary trip to Greece, as well as ongoing support during the trip itself. We especially appreciated the selection of wonderful hotels in Santorini, Milos, and Athens and well-organized transfers between locations -- not to mention very quick help in rebooking many things after our initial flight from USA --> Athens was delayed by more than 24 hours. Special shout-out to Caterina, we are so grateful for your responsiveness and expert assitance. Cannot recommend highly enough -- 6 stars!

We just returned from a lovely and memorable trip to Naxos and Athens. We are so grateful that we used Aegean Thesaurus travel to book our hotels, tickets and transfers. Caterina was helpful at every stage of planning and very responsive to our questions. When we missed a connection in Athens due to airline/airport delays, she was immediately available to help us find alternatives and get back on track with minimal disruption. Highly recommend!

In the Fall of 2022, my friend and I, along with our husbands, decided we wanted to go to Greece for two weeks in June, 2023. I joined a Facebook group called Greek Islands where travellers from all over the world share their knowledge and experiences of travels to Greece. Out of that came a wealth of suggestions for our trip, the first being that we should use a Greek travel agency to help us plan an itinerary. We live in Canada. The idea of using a travel agent in another country was a bit daunting. But I reached out to Aegean Travel Thesaurus the next day. Tina was our travel agent. An amazing relationship began and lasted several months with this incredible person I have never met! The customer service I experienced with her was exceptional, second to none. I can honestly say that in my 62 years, I have never had customer service like that. She was knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, patient, and always professional. I sent countless emails with questions and queries and changed my mind several times. The next day (7 hours time difference) I would receive an email from Tina answering every single one of my questions and with the addition of maps, ferry times, and additional information that she thought would be useful. Many times I asked her opinion and I was grateful for her input. We had a fantastic trip and every single detail Tina planned for us was perfect! I highly recommend this travel agency. And of course if you are lucky enough to have Tina as your agent, you are truly blessed!

Giorgos did a great job for us back in 2012 for our honeymoon

Outstanding agent who I have used for at least three or four trips to Greece including the mainland - last time the Mani & Peloponnesus, this time the north and Thessaloniki. Everything perfectly organised with prompt updates and changes when inevitable ferry changes occur. Highly recommended.

We have gone through Aegean Thesaurus Travel on three separate trips to Greece including May 2023. Giorgos there has just helped two of us plus a friend through our travel on Crete. They are always patient and communicate clearly and immediately. Transfers they make are always 100% on time and accommodations are complete. I really appreciate the expertise they offer. One always thinks one can do it themself, but in Greece, this is the smoothest way to travel. Highly recommend!

Around three years ago my wife and I started planning a holiday in Greece prior to a cruise from Piraeus to Dubai. We could find no suitable package tours carried by Australian travel agents and finally stumbled upon Aegean Thesaurus Travel who are based on the island of Sifnos but handle travel arrangements throughout Greece. Encouraged by the many positive reviews on line we made bookings for two days in Athens and three days each on the islands of Hydra and Spetses, including transfers and ferry services. Our original sailing was cancelled necessitating a change of cruise line and a further flight booking to Rome. The prices quoted were more than reasonable and the level of service exemplary.
And then Covid hit. I thought 'well, there goes our deposit'. Not so, as Giorgos was able to get some of our funds back immediately and then later achieved further refunds which were held in credit.
Twelve months ago we re-booked the trip with Giorgos although, since this was slightly later in the year due to the timing of our cruise, many hotels were closed for their 'winter' period and ferry services were reduced.
Once again we were delighted with their suggestions and, having now returned to Australia, can confidently recommend this agency for travel arrangements within Greece.
Aegean Thesaurus Travel were honest, their communication impeccable, the hotel recommendations spot on and the ferry/transfers went without a hitch.
I cannot recommend this agency highly enough.

Nous voulions remercier particulièrement Sandra et l'équipe de Aegean thesaurus voyages pour leur aide précieuse dans l'organisation de notre voyage en grèce. En passant par vos services nous avons vécus des vacances exceptionnelles, à l'abri du stress et avec un confort remarquable.
Nous qui étions fans d'organiser toutes nos vacances par nous mêmes, nous aurions été incapable de faire mieux... Merci énormément pour les transferts qui n'étaient pas évident, et pour nous avoir offert ces paysages spectaculaires.
