Des 3 Small Luxury Hotels que nous avons visités cet été dans le Dodécanèse, the Petra fut notre seule (et grosse) déception (et la plus coûteuse de loin).
Un accueil inadapté (attente de 30 minutes alors que la chambre était prête), une vue de la chambre sur la rue, le parking et un terrain en travaux (ah oui, la mer là-bas au fond !).
Six cents euros la nuit pour une petite chambre à la décoration vieillotte, c'est totalement exorbitant.
Aucune bouteille d'eau quotidienne en chambre alors que l'eau du robinet n'est pas potable.
Des transferts au port à 60€ qui vous laissent l'impression de vous être fait pigeonnés.
En résumé, un label SLH pas mérité. On peut trouver d'autres hôtels aussi accueillants, mieux placés et bien moins chers ! Je recommande donc d'éviter celui-ci.

We chose The Petra for our honeymoon and we could not be more satisfied with our choice for such a special occasion. We were fortunate to have been welcomed by the owners of the hotel who throughout our stay were constantly attentive and sincerely concerned for us and our enjoyment.

The Petra offers the luxury facilities and service you would expect, yet with a homey touch that makes you feel like you’re staying at a Greek family home. The food offering is excellent with changing Greek specialties being offered everyday for breakfast and lunch/dinner. Food in general was exceptional with a variety of local and international options on the menu for all meals. The service is of high quality with sincere care for your enjoyment and wellbeing. We continuously got personalized recommendations of how we could best enjoy our time in Patmos. This was not only given to us verbally but they offer a digital platform that allows you to reserve activities and experiences before even arriving to the hotel. Using the platform we seamlessly booked a boat tour, a massage and several restaurant reservations, all of which had been curated by the team at The Petra and which made our visit to Patmos much more enjoyable.

Similarly, the boutique nature of the hotel gives you a quiet and beautiful sanctuary in the middle of what can sometime be a busy island. The nice pool and pool area give an option for rest when you’re not feeling like going to the beach. The location, a few minutes away from the main area of Skala, allows for rest and quiet enjoyment.

We will forever cherish our honeymoon memories at The Petra and we will most definitely be coming back.

One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The entire Petra family and team are all five stars - warm, welcoming and super helpful!
The “More Than A Stay” platform on their website made booking local restaurants and experiences very easy. The room was a great size and very comfortable. Lovely balcony. The pool area had stunning views. The breakfast - simply wow! It was lovely being able to chat with the family and get their recommendations for Patmos. We’ll most certainly be back. Thank you!!

All the staff at the hotel were friendly and very interested. They provided a very pleasant stay experience. thank you to each and every one of them. especially mr. chris helped us a lot from start to end. And also they serve too delicious and organic breakfasts everyday.
