That was amazing experience! Lovely place and such a good atmosphere that makes you want stay there forever! The tour was very interesting and we could learn many useful things from. And the olive oil tasting… we don’t want to consume any other olive oil now! ????

Excellent visit to Dr. Kavvadia’s olive farm! We were given a guided tour of the property, with explanations of different varieties of olive trees and the functioning of the farm. This was followed by tasting of olive oil, accompanied by some delicious bread, local vegetables and — surprise — oranges. The whole visit was so well orchestrated that we did not feel the time pass. Our kids (aged 3, 8 and 12), who usually quickly bored during guided tours, even got inspired to make some drawings of olives and olive trees. Highly recommend!

The experience in itself was beautiful and unique, helping us find a new appreciation for organic farming and how tasty, special and versatile olive oil can be. Our host was amazing and informative! We have to say that this experience has been one of the best highlights of our time in Corfu. The adorable cats and dog also made our time at the farm all the more awesome.

Eine top Tour durch die lokale Olivenplantage inkl. Olivenölverkostung für 20€ pro Person. Das Flair ist absolut familiär und die Gruppen sind klein gehalten. Man erfährt viel über den Anbau (Tour auf Englisch), allerdings nur grob über die Verarbeitung nach der Ernte.
Im Anschluss gab es eine Olivenölprobe (Es werden hier 2 Sorten angebaut) und man kann entgegen meiner Erwartung den Unterschied tatsächlich schmecken. Zur Probe gab es Brote mit Tomaten belegt, Orangen, Brötchen und Wasser. Parken auf der Plantage erlaubt, Zeitaufwand ca 1 1/2 - 2 Stunden.
