Rebuttal time! We have just spent a week at this hotel and we've had a fabulous time.We had a wonderful room overlooking the sea..We would leave the patio door open late into the evening to listen to the relaxing surf.
The staff are lovely, welcoming and friendly.The food is perfectly acceptable.If you can't find something to eat from all the choices available you need a reality check.
The pool is pristine ,ocean blue and warm.There are plenty of sun beds.Oh no! They're a bit weathered and worn.What do you expect?they're outside 365 days a year.
And to those naysayers who complain about the wind: Do some research before you book.Its a windsurfers paradise Duh!
El Medarno,the local town is also NOT weird.Its quaint, authentic with lovely cafes and community squares.The people are friendly and it has the best toy shop we've ever visited.
The hotel entertainment was fine. The lady who ran it had wonderful energy.Water aerobics and yoga were fun.
But oh the humanity! Having to wait at the pool bar for 2 minutes to get served.
And finally to the person who wrote saying they knew lots of people who had illness due to the food this is insidious and probably slanderous.We were there roughly at the same time and saw absolutely nothing like this.

Fantástica experiencia, reseñable la ubicación y la tranquilidad. Alejado del bullicio del pueblo, pero cerca para ir paseando. Buenas instalaciones, buenas habitaciones, bien en limpieza y servicio. Hotel Only Adults.

Sehr altes Hotel. Zimmer gross, aber schmuddelig. Mülleimer + Schrankgriff kaputt. Sofa im Zimmer alt und abgenutzt. Matratzen sehr hart. Überall liegen immer wieder Haarbüschel im Bad und Zimmer verteilt. Allgemein sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Man hört bis spät in die Nacht noch was sich unterhalb einem abspielt - vor allem Geschrei. Das Restaurant ist so la la. Sehr dreckig. Tische werden sporadisch und schnell schnell „abgewischt“. Salz & Pfefferstreuer, sowie Tischsets, die sich auf den Tischen befinden, sind verklebt und werden wohl eher selten mal gereinigt. Fensterbretter / Ablagen sind von Krümeln übersäht. Die Stühle und Tische im Allgemeinen sind ebenfalls sehr alt, abgenutzt und von Flecken übersäht. Einfach nur ecklig. Das Frühstück ist „besser“ als das Abendbrot. Überwiegend lässt das Essen auch sehr zu wünschen übrig. So schlecht wie in diesem Hotel haben wir noch nie gegessen. Die Kellnerinnen/Kellner sind sehr in sich gekehrt und kommen mit dem Abräumen nicht hinterher. Wenn man als Gast Halbpension gebucht hat, etwas zu Trinken bestellen möchte, muss man viel mehr auf die Kellner zugehen - von alleine kommen sie nicht um einem die Getränke zu offerieren. Die Bar innerhalb des Hotels hat keine Ahnung von Cocktails - ist Alles mit zuckersüssen und ungeniessbarem Sirup vermischt. Empfangspersonal ist sonst nett und hilfsbereit.
Im Grossen und Ganzen würden wir dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

Kurz und knapp. Kam heute Nacht heim und habe mich darauf gefreut. Die Zimmer sind schmuddelig, das Restaurant ebenfalls. Chaos beim Frühstück mit überforderten Angestellten. Speisen nur auf Engländer ausgerichtet. All Inclusive Engländer ganztags mit Alkohol zugange (fast alle). Abends Gebrüll und Geschrei in der "Bar". Abendbuffett war okay. Ich fand immer was.

Einmal und nie wieder. Hotel hätte Potenzial, schöpft es aber nicht aus.

Misery everywhere, you can change your towels only after 2 days. There's not smoking areas,they ll ask you to get out of the hotel for a cigarette. Now read with fully open eyes...if you want a beer, you must to pay 1 euro deposit for a PLASTIC CUP. Now the SPA... 15 euros for 2 hours, but you MUST stay there fully 2 hours, if want to go out for a beer for example, you can't get back and using the left time...you must to pay again. Absolutely ridiculous hotel with lasy staff, mostly of them doesn't speak English. I'm still here unfortunately...can't wait to go back home

The SPA is unfortunately in a very bad state, both in maintenance and cleanliness. Only half of facilities work, repairs have not been done for long time, buttons broken, insulations missing, sauna has mold, wood splits from humidity, bad for lungs, not recommend, no regular cleaning cicles could be noted neither for SPA nor for bathroom/toilet. Nowhere to place personal items, books etc. inside the spa dry or secure. No trash bins inside.

Three things working well: Jacuzzi, water canons, showers. Personal friendy but helpless.

Sorry for this review, please INVEST into your facilities. Keep sauna doors open at night, always, will prevent you many problems.

10-15 хв від аеропорту десь 15 евро за аеропортне таксі. Ель Медано дуже вітряно. Це не легенький бріз, а прям дуже. Це рай для серфінгу, але не для звичайних відпочиваючих. Готель з гарним краєвидом. В номерах шумоізоляції немає. Будеш чути кашель сусідів та вечірки на першому поверсі до 23:00. Ліжко та подушки не комфортні. Номера вже потрібно обновити. Сейф закривається на ключ. Сніданок великий, але якість продуктів погана. Реакція рецепції швидка та якісна, всі питання вирішуються.

Lovely location but terrible food.

Chambre spacieuse. Bonne literie. Petit dej de bonne qualité. Plats chauds de qualité médiocre. Plutôt hôtel 3 que 4 étoiles. Ménage des chambres presque inexistant. Nuisance sonore liée à passages fréquents d'avions nuit et jour juste au dessus de 'l'hôtel

Stayed here in February 2024 it was a Christmas present, so didn't read any reviews before booking. Omg, it was so windy as the hotel is situated on a corner by the sea and the area is famous for its surf boarding. Hotel is nice enough 20 minute walk away from the town. We went for 7 days, 5 days there was work going on in the next room very annoying. Book a sea view, if you are around the back there's no chance of any sun, so unable to sit on the balcony as it was so windy and cold. Noise from night time guests travels up to your room. Wouldn't stay there again.
We travelled to Plays Las Americas for the day, 25 minutes in a taxi £34, what a difference we had a lovely day would definitely stay there.

Le pongo tantas estrellas como debería tener este hotel en España, el todo incluido incluye unas bebidas locales de baja calidad, malos snacks, la limpieza en la habitación no es a diario y el SPA NO ESTÁ INCLUIDO EN UN TODO INCLUIDO!!!!. Ademas es muy ruidoso por la noche y la musica a las 8 de la mañana molesta enormemente.

Eso si, el personal es muy amable, hacen lo que pueden con lo que tienen.

El personal en general es tremendamente amable y servicial.
Todos han sido muy atentos y nos han hecho estar como en casa.
Ahora bien, en nuestros primeros cuatro días y después de dos reclamaciones nos limpiaron una vez la habitación.
Los horarios y restricciones para los clientes de todo incluido se cumplen a rajatabla pero la limpieza y calidad del buffet no corresponde a un hotel de 4 estrellas.
No volveremos más a pesar del magnífico trato de las personas que trabajan allí.

Great quiet place ,going back next year.

Friendly staff. Great food. Good location, just 10 min walk from el medano.

The room was nice but overall we were disappointed. Had no idea the location was so windy as hadn't been mentioned in reviews. Guests were on sunbeds freezing with towels and hoodies wrapped round them. We didn't even attempt that. The nearby town had very little there, contrary to some reviews, but luckily we'd hired a moped and could travel to areas with places to eat and drink that were also out of the wind. We only had breakfast at the hotel but it was understaffed and constantly out of cups, teaspoons, coffee and juice. Food was very average.
We also didn't know about the no double bed policy, and had booked a double room. On arrival we found twin beds pushed together but made up as separate singles. This was corrected upon complaint. I had also checked before arrival if anything could be arranged for my partner's birthday and was told a bottle of cava would be sent to the room on the day. It wasn't. But again on complaint, this was rectified.
This hotel has a lot of potential as it's nice inside, but the location is the most negative thing. We would go back to Tenerife but not the El Medano area as we wouldn't have chosen it if we knew about the wind.

Rooms and dining room are dirty. We've had spiders webs, ants, clumps of hair in corners and blood, footprints on dirty bedding. Jet2 have all photo evidence but cannot action very much as there is no manager here for 3 days over the weekend. Party of 6 with 3 rooms. Not a 4 star experience. One lovely receptionist tried to raise issues with management but has since been sacked. She didn't think we were even experiencing 3 star never mind 4!

So windy I had trouble walking. Looked like a prison and some staff downright rude. We saw staff being bullied and my friend was aggressively shouted at by a member of staff in Spanish. Would never recommend

Just a great place to stay. Great Spanish food great staff, great facilities and just on the beach. The Spanish kitchen is so good that you cannot resist trying this and that and you end up eating a lot.

Friendly staff, very easy check in & check out.
Food options are very varied & all really nice.
Hotel clean throughout with cleaning staff who can clean your room every day if you like.
Rooms very spacious with a really good sea view

It is a little out of the way if you want to do things around Tenerife but with a hire car it’s only 20 mins to Los Cristianos & 10 mins to the airport
