There aren’t enough words to describe our stay at Sueño Del Mar, so I’ll try and keep it short. The food, location and view were all excellent! Our hosts (Eduardo and Sol) were super gracious and helpful our entire stay, the staff was incredibly friendly, and as guests of a wedding, this was a once in a lifetime experience. Sueño Del Mar staff played a huge part in making sure we could experience the most out of Costa Rica and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Breakfast from Lili was exceptional!

I was searching a destination wedding in Costa Rica for a few months before it became very clear that Sueno Del Mar was the perfect place to have my dream wedding. I had never been to Costa Rica before, or Sueno Del Mar. I went strictly off of reviews that I had read, and social media that I had seen. I could not have picked a more perfect place to stay for 5 days and have my wedding at.The last thing a bride wants is to be stressed during wedding planning, Eduardo and Sol made the whole process as simple and easy as possible. As a couple who travels alot we tend to be very picky about rooms, food, cleanliness, and customer service. When I tell you that there was not ONE thing I would have changed, I mean it. There is not one complaint i could even think of if I wanted to. The rooms were spotless, and the beds were probably the best I’ve ever slept on. The food was delicious every morning made by Lili. And the catered wedding food was nothing less than perfection from Eduardo and Sol. Sols attention to detail and wedding planning led to the most perfect and dreamy wedding I could have ever asked for. They recommended us vendors to choose from and they also were nothing short of perfect.Nadia gave me the perfect hair and makeup to make me feel so confident on my wedding day, and had me laughing the whole time while getting ready. Los primos designs made all my visions of decor come to life and delivered the most dreamy tropical setup. Dj Zach played the perfect playlist and kept my guests on the floor dancing and having fun all night. Victoria zoch made and delivered the most delicious desserts. And Adriana Mendez and her team were the most fun, and professional photographers we could have asked for! My husband and I tend to never visit places more than once, but before we even left we decided that this will be a place we come yearly. All of our guests that attended said it was the best vacation they had ever been on, and the best wedding they have even been too, (including their own haha). We can not thank sueno Del Mar enough, especially Eduardo and sol. We will talk about this trip and wedding for a lifetime, so thank you.

Highly recommend this spectacular B&B if you're looking to get away from Tamarindo central. Boutique, quiet and views to die for.

Absolutely stunning hotel. We had a fairly small room, but the lovely common areas and the beachfront definitely make up for this! Breakfast was the best we had in Costa Rica!

I recently spent a week in Tamarindo with a friend, and we both absolutely loved our stay at Sueno Del Mar Hotel. The hotel is located right on the beach, and it's easy to walk to town from either the street or the beach. The property has a relaxing atmosphere, with plenty of hammocks and beach beds to enjoy the sunset.

The staff at Sueno Del Mar were all extremely helpful and kind. Eduardo, the owner, was responsive to our messages via WhatsApp, and he was even able to upgrade our room when another guest canceled. Suzanna helped us arrange transportation from the airport, and Victor was always happy to accommodate our dairy sensitivities at breakfast.

The breakfast at Sueno Del Mar was some of the best I've ever had. I'm not a big fan of breakfast burritos or huevos rancheros, but I really enjoyed the food at Sueno Del Mar. The coffee, fruit, and dessert were all delicious.

The housekeepers were also very efficient and thorough. Our room was always clean and tidy, and the bed was always made perfectly.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Sueno Del Mar Hotel. The staff was amazing, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Tamarindo.

My sister and I stayed at Sueno Del Mar for 4 nights!! It was absolutely beautiful, right on the beach, always clean, and beyond relaxing. It’s a dream! 10/10 recommend. Plus breakfast, staff, and sunsets are delightful! ???? can’t wait to return

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had the absolute best experience!! Eduardo and Sol are so hospitable and all the staff is so kind and friendly. We looked forward to Lily’s breakfast every morning! Sooo delicious. It is such a beautiful, quaint, spot to stay at with amazing views. We definitely plan to return!

We stayed at Sueno de Mar for 5 nights. It was perfect.
We felt so welcome by everyone at the boutique hotel. The setting and hotel are storybook beautiful.
Being on the beach away a mile or 2 from the busy fun town of Tamarindo was a big plus.

Magic. The kind of place you want the whole world to know about, but also want to keep a secret just for yourself. We spent a week here and everything was perfection: the casita, the breakfast, the setting, the attentive staff (we miss you, Victor). It’s quiet and off of the noisy part of town yet close to everything you could need. Cute restaurants in walking distance, monkeys in the trees. I could go on and on, and can not wait to go back.
Put Sueño Del Mar at the top of your list. You won’t regret it.

We started our trip here and I felt at ease as soon as we walked in. It’s a little paradise with all of the most perfect and thoughtful details. Amazing staff, views, spots to relax, and a great location away from the busy town yet close enough to visit daily. I was really grateful we chose to stay here.

It doesn’t get better than Sueno Del Mar. Everything is simple, but elegantly thought out. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else but here. The breakfast is hands down the best you can get and it is made with great care and love. The people here care very much and they take great attention to detail and really care about you and your comfort. The grounds and views from the hotel are priceless. Be sure to sit on the day beds in the afternoon, watch the sunset and spend some time stargazing. If you have the chance, don’t pass this one up!!

A must stay. Looking for a relaxing beach front hotel with a great breakfast and wonderful staff this is your place. Not to far from shops and food and then get away from all the people and just relax and watch the amazing sunsets .
