I’ve tried the risotto and another desert (forgot the name) but both were good the service is amazing extremely friendly and welcoming there was a live piano music which made our evening extra special

I had a fantastic meal here friday night with my friends. One of my friends had a seafood dish and claimed it gave him food poisoning. But I believe it was just a result of consumption in too many beers!

Watch out if you are a tourist!!!

Food is good and the price for it is right. BUT if you drink some wine and show them which one you want, they just nod and give you a more expensive one so you‘ll have a nice surprise in the end when you get the check.

The 2 stars are there because the food was good. It‘s still a scam and ruins the whole ambiente, when one smiles in your face just to get a few cheap bucks. The place also doesn‘t look as if it needs to squeeze every last cent out of tourists. It would be better to be honest and get some tips than promoting this behavior.

You also have to pay the usual Budapest 12% service fee for not getting proper service.

The food was absolutely amazing! I had the carbonara and as a dessert i had the tiramisu. The food was out of this world!
Another bonus was that the staff was very friendly! In total we were very happy that we chose this restaurant. So happy, that we decided to go back to the restaurant before we leave!
Would definetely recommend this restaurant!

Last week we went to this beautiful restaurant and I am still thinking about the great experience we had. First we were welcomed by the lovely waiter and had the pleasant surprise of the pianist sitting right next to our table✨️, next we were offered to taste local wines???? before choosing the best for our food. Food, that was absolutely delicious ???? I definitely recommend you to try and make your own memorable experience there.

Az étterme közelében (200 méter) van egy parkolóház, így ha valaki autóval érkezik, könnyen tud parkolni.
Nagyobb baráti társasággal jártunk az étteremben egy csütörtök este. A hátsó lépcső közelében diszkréten élő zongorajáték szólt. Bennünket nem zavart a beszélgetésben, mivel a zongorától távolabb, a bejárat mellett volt az asztalunk.
A társaságunkban mindenki mást evett, igyekeztünk az olasz konyhára fókuszálni, ilyen ételekből rendelni. ????????
A minőség nagyon rendben volt, minden tészta „al dente” érkezett. A pizzákról nem sajnálták a feltétet. ????????
A kiszolgálás gyors és udvarias volt, némi humorral vegyítve.

The Sophie Brasserie is conveniently located in the heart of Pest, next to Andrássy street and the Opera. The margerita pizza was very tasty, the drinks were also great, so we had a great time there.

Had dinner three times out of the four nights we stayed in Budapest. Food was delicious. We had the pasta dishes. My husband loved the pasta with the duck.
Reasonably priced. Services and atmosphere perfect.
Thankyou all at Sophies for making our stay memorable!

Étterem hét keretein belül jártunk itt, és teljes mértékben meg voltunk elégedve. Az ételek isteniek voltak, a kiszolgálás kifogástalan. A pincérünk pont kellően volt humoros és barátságos. Az étterem hangulata is jó volt. Egyetlen apróság, ami kifogásolható volt, az az élő zene hangereje. A művész zenéje fantasztikus volt, de hangos volt a beszélgetéshez.

Great food. It was really extraordinary!! Would recommend it to everyone. We had a steak and it was perfect . The only tiny negative thing was , that it was a little cold inside of the restaurant due to the door being openend and closed all the time
