Hôtel situé dans le quartier Jordaan ayant un restaurant avec une cuisine de brasserie inspirée.
Mercier est une adresse nouvellement venue du quartier Jordaan. Anciennement maison de quartier puis centre de défense des droits LGBT, Mercier se déclare « straightfriendly ». Le style agréable mélange détails vintage et éléments de design néerlandais. Diverses pièces de couture qui de Claes Iversen ornent les murs et le styliste a créé des tapisseries murales uniques pour chaque chambre. Le restaurant Ons Huis offre une cuisine de brasserie inspirée. Le clou du lieu : la présence d’une magnifique licorne très instagrammable. Nous aimons beaucoup les couleurs.

The staff are friendly however the rooms are small, no wardrobe, ironing facilities or door to the bathroom (there is a door to the toilet). The in room air conditioning is like sleeping in a loud wind tunnel, even on low setting and the room gets very hot without it, so be prepared for dry eyes and poor sleep because of the noise. We asked to book in the restaurant and were told that someone would call to confirm (or not - which was fine), but no one called at all. We asked about late checkout which the hotel app offered only to be told it was not available - on Sundays apparently. All in all a very disappointing experience given the premium price. We were unfortunate to stay when there was a concert right outside (no prior warning) and access to the hotel was a nightmare trying to weave through very rude and threatening Dutch people. The noise of people clearing up and smashing bottles late at night was loud in the room. The hotel location is described as a quiet spot - it really is not that at all! I might come back to Amsterdam, despite the unfriendly people we encountered (you get them everywhere) but I would never recommend or return to this particular hotel. Misleading description, very small room, no late checkout and staff that don’t bother to call you when they say they will. Overall, very disappointing.

This place was perfect. Great staff who answered all our questions and helped us with a booking error when we checked in, great location and very comfortable rooms. Have recommended and will definitely go back next time I’m in Amsterdam.

Double charged me and refused to refund. They charged me for 2 rooms, this was a system error. When arrived the 2nd room has a welcome note for someone else in the room. They way they handled was rude, spoke to Amex who said that they had seen this before - be warned they basically just stole my money
the response is untrue - the system froze and kicked me out so i went throught he process again as the innital transation failed. I expained this many time in detail. When my sister arrived to use the room she was taken to one of the 2 rooms booked and there was a welcome note for a completly different person so this is just a complete lie and an utter scam - DONT BOOK

However, beware:
1/ our room was not cleaned daily (skipped for no reason)
2/ pricing fluctuations are enormous
3/ management committed to connect with us after other issues we had .. it's been more than a week already and nothing happened.
