FX Buckley Steakhouse Crow St. exceeded all expectations during my recent visit. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was beyond delicious, with every dish expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the attention to detail was evident in every bite. What truly stood out, though, was the impeccable service provided by the friendly and attentive staff. They made sure that every aspect of my dining experience was flawless. And let's not forget about the cocktails – they were absolutely phenomenal, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. I can't wait to return to FX Buckley Steakhouse Crow St. for another unforgettable dining experience.

Er du glad i biff så er dette stedet i Dublin. Mat var veldig god (følge mente at det var den biffen som var best stekt i forhold til hva det ble bedt om) og lokalen har en god atmosfære. Det er noe trangt mellom bordene så du føler at du deltar i samtalene på nabobordet og når folk beveger seg rundt så føler du litt at de går opp på deg. Men absolutt verdt et besøk

Perfektes Steak-Restaurant, hier stimmt alles: wir hatten versehentlich eine Reservierung in der Pembroke St, wurden aber sehr freundlich vor Ort umgebucht (glücklicherweise waren noch zwei Plätze frei). Das Ambiente ist super gemütlich, der Service stets sehr zuvorkommend und interessiert an den Wünschen der Gäste. Alle Kellner waren spitze (!), wir möchten aber unseren Hauptansprechpartner Mario besonders hervorheben: er hat Beratung und Kompetenz auf sympathischste Weise vereint. So jemanden kann sich jeder Betrieb nur wünschen :)
Das Châteaubriant war ebenfalls extrem delikat und auf den Punkt (medium-rare bei uns) zubereitet. Kann sich absolut mit dem für uns besten deutschen Steaklokal (Meating Point) messen, das will was heißen ;)
Für mich wichtig ist auch die Weinkarte, die sich auch sehen lassen kann. Ein toller neuseeländischer Sauvignon und spannende Rotweine waren das Sahnehäubchen des Abends.
Fazit: Vielen lieben Dank für den wundervollen Abend, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Amazing place definitely be back, staff are really pleasant

We were not disappointed with the meat quality. It was grilled to perfection.
The ambiance is much quieter than the other restaurants in Dublin, which is much appreciated.
Very nice wine card, although overpriced.
We had 2h to eat until the next booking takes over our table. It is sufficient to enjoy a main and a bottle of wine, but you may opt for the 2nd service if you go for the snacks/starters/main/dessert.
I highly recommend it.

We visited the place last Wednesday evening to celebrate my boyfriend’s bday. Staffs were very nice especially the host who gave us a complimentary dessert. Food was excellent!

What else to tell except that everything in this restaurant was exceptional. A high service high a high quality.

Right from the outset, the service at FX Buckley was exceptional, exuding a can-do attitude that immediately put us at ease. We appreciated the detailed explanation of the various meat cuts, setting the stage for a culinary journey ahead.

The menu, though concise, is thoughtfully structured, allowing patrons to focus on the stars of the selection. We were particularly impressed by the inclusion of starter cocktails, each of which was expertly crafted and presented. Among them, the "Smokey Old Fashioned" stood out with its remarkable balance of flavors.

The main event—the meat—undoubtedly lived up to its hype. From its well-marbled texture to its tender bite, every aspect was meticulously executed. The subtle infusion of coal smoke added an extra dimension of flavor, while the precise medium-rare cook time further enhanced the dining experience.

While the fried onions served as a side felt excessive and somewhat misaligned with the dish, the accompanying salad proved to be a refreshing counterpart, with its light dressing and crisp freshness. However, the creamy spinach side fell short of expectations, leaning too heavily on creaminess rather than showcasing the anticipated vibrant spinach flavor.

To complement the meal, we opted for a Malbec from France, which proved to be an ideal match, enhancing the flavors of the meat without overpowering them.

Overall, our visit to FX Buckley left us thoroughly satisfied, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to discerning diners. Moreover, the pricing pleasantly surprised us, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Just not good in general. Very unhappy with my experience.

Ottima Steakhouse nel centro di Dublino, la carne è buona e di qualità. Il servizio e il locale un po’ meno, i tavoli sono piccoli e molto attaccati l’uno all’altro, considerano che i prezzi sono alti su questo si potrebbe migliorare. Comunque consigliato assolutamente per mangiare ottima carne!

The BEST STEAK we've had in Ireland!! We are from the US, and we like our steaks from places like Ruth's Chris (common enough national chain that most know the standard). But let me say that FX Buckley is much better than that! Perfectly crusted, packed with flavor, and dripping with juice... Too bad we only got in the last night we are here (pretty lucky without a reservation). Rest assured, we will be back the next time we are in Dublin!

Restaurant full viande, je l ai choisi pour faire plaisir à monsieur et il était ravi. Grand choix de parties de viande de toute taille. Le repas est très copieux. La qualité de viande demande un certain prix mais c est logique. Le service était impeccable et agréable.
