SANTUARIO NOSTRA SIGNORA DI SOVIORE

Se cercate il lusso andate altrove. Ma se cercate la pace e il silenzio e amate la semplicità questo è il posto giusto. Certo le camere sono un po' spartane ma dotate del necessario per una vacanza con trekking alle Cinque Terre: letti e cuscini comodi, asciugamani puliti e con il giusto ricambio. Noi abbiamo cenato la prima sera con il menù della mezza pensione e poi con il menù alla carta. In entrambi i casi la qualità è medio/alta in rapporto al prezzo. Anche la colazione è buona: dolce, salato e frutta. Personale gentile e disponibile.

A hiked from Monterosso to the Sanctuary which was a 3km/500m ascent hike. The views are beautiful. The restaurant was closed.

Bonito santuario situado en un auténtico remanso de paz.

I don't know how this place has more then 4* reviews , this is one of the horrible places i stayed in during my trip to Europe.

1) I made a booking online portal claim that hotel is 1 mile away from the beach, however they posted false information and hotel is 7 kms away from the central town and beach and the only way you can reach this place if you have your own car or avail a shuttle service from them which costs €20 euro per trip each side or a taxi service which will cost €30-40 each side

2) The staff at the reception is very rude. When we confronted them with the false information they have put on online portals, the lady at the reception started screaming at me and said you should have checked the hotel distance on Google maps. They are trying to misguide customers by providing false information

3) The reception lady even made racist comments at us

4) The room conditions are pathetic , the beds are not comfortable at all , the room i stayed in the bathroom lock didn't work and there is no one to hear about your complaints. It is looking like staying in a ghost house

5) This is actually an old Monastery which has been converted to a so called hotel. The images i am attaching shows real condition of the hotel

6) There is no other place nearby where you can go for dinner. No kitchen , no facilities are provided in the room for any cooking/heating stuff

7) They even refused to switch on the heating system when it was cold at night saying that it is already May and we can't provide heating service now

Book this place at your own risk. If i had option of giving less then 1 star also I would have given negative ratings to this place

We had a very nice stay! It's simple but has everything you need, also very clean and friendly!
I also had probably the best risotto I've ever had! Thanks for having us!
