Located inside what I think is one of the grandest hotel setting in Venice, big pillars, grand Venetian setting, beautiful ambience. Restaurant again reflects the same setting, grand and beautiful setting. Service by tua staff is exemplary, explains all the menu in detail and great professional service which you would expect in a restaurant of this standard.

All the dishes we tried was innovative, perfectly balanced and with great depth of flavour. Hand chopped beef for appetizer was one of the best I have tried, seasoned and balanced perfectly to complement the rich texture of the beef.

Bit of a downside is why you have to pay 16 euros per persob cover charge to dine and it's on the higher priced side, but worth it for a special meal.

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) recently had a wonderful lunch at the Danieli roof-top restaurant. The food was excellent, as was the service. And here I'd like to add a few details. Firstly, Venice is an extremely touristic town, and services can suffer, because often, it is a one-time hit. Chances are, as a tourist, you will not return anytime soon. So, it is all the more remarkable when the level of service remains high, when staff is polite, friendly, candid, and adds value to one's experience. The waiters were so nice, explained our options, sought to provide us with options, all in a lovely ambiance with an unbeatable view. It is pricey, so do take that into consideration, but consider it the cherry on the cake!
We had a beautiful lunch, and I am so happy we experienced the Danieli. Kudos to the managers for maintaining such high standards.
We had the duck ravioli, the lasagna, the mushroom pasta, and a fabulous liver polenta dish.
Kudos to the staff and management!

Had an amazing dinner here with my wife on vacation. The prices are what you would expect in a hotel restaurant which is a lot, but its good. My parents came with us and watched the kids while we took advantage of the night. Our waiter and staff really took care of us and showed us around the hotel, which was above and beyond. Special shout out to Pasquale who made an extra effort to make our experience special!

Il ristorante è molto speciale con le viste e una atmosfera molto calorosa. Il cibo secondo me è buono ma il prezzo richiede magari un evento molto particolare di valere la pena. Il cammiere era la persona che ci ha fatto la esperienza in più perché ha fatto oltre quello che aspettavo.

Entri nella hall e rimani a bocca aperta. C'è un salone e la reception che non puoi descrivere per quanto sono belli. Il palazzo risale al 1471 ed era dei Dandolo. La hall originariamente era il cortile ed è in stile moresco. Agli inizi sel 900 è stato coperta con una vetrata un stile liberty.

Cortese Direttore Hotel e Ristorante Danieli, sabato 24 giugno 2023 alle 19.05 provo a contattare il Ristorante per cenare con mia moglie in Terrazza Danieli. Stabiliamo le ore 20.00 confermate con messaggio SMS All’arrivo puntuali mi viene fatto notare che indossavo dei pantaloncini . Faccio presente che non conoscevo l’esigenza di un dress codes e mi chiedono se fosse possibile un change in corsa o acquisto di un pantalone. Accetto mal volentieri e con umiliazione il Vostro rimbalzo ed usciamo . Il mio outfit era composto da un occhiale da vista di marca, una Tshirt di un originario marchio francese ora proprietà italiana, una scarpa di nota azienda storica sartoriale artigianale italiana, un pantaloncino senza risvolti altezza ginocchio di marchio italiano noto ed un Diver come orologio anch’esso di storico marchio svizzero , il tutto comunque molto sobrio, non potevo definirmi elegante ma di certo non indecoroso.
Arrivo al punto:
- sono stato più volte vostro ospite e MAI e poi MAI mi è stato detto preventivamente telefonicamente di un eventuale dress codes da seguire;
- non c’è questa indicazione sul Vostro sito;
- una indicazione viene posta sul rimando link OPENTABLE esterno al Vostro sito che utilizzate per le prenotazioni, richiesta che non avevo visto perché ho prenotato telefonicamente , dove c’è scritto: abbigliamento CONSIGLIATO: abbigliamento formale;
Parliamo ora in termini legali, “mi risulta che” e così in ogni capoverso:
- l’indicazione su opentable è un suggerimento evidentemente non prescrittivo;
- essendo il ristorante un esercizio aperto al pubblico gli esercenti non possono SENZA UN LEGITTIMO MOTIVO rifiutare le prestazioni del proprio esercizio a chiunque le domandi e ne corrisponda il prezzo;
- l’esercente non può vincolare l’attuazione di un servizio al tipo di abbigliamento della clientela a meno che non si tratti di una questione di pubblica decenza il cui standard è indicato nelle leggi di pubblica sicurezza dove si enunciano le condizioni di oscenità e decoro;
- anche venga richiesto un dress codes come condicio sine qua non, è un aspetto coercitivo e quindi non attuabile;
- se avessi voluto avrei potuto chiamare la pubblica sicurezza la quale dopo aver visto che non mi sono presentato a petto nudo ed infradito , capace di corrispondere il prezzo della cena e in condizioni psico fisiche perfette, mi avrebbe fatto entrare e cenare e Le avrebbe comminato una multa credo da 516 a 3098 euro.
Dimenticavo, cosa sarebbe successo se fosse venuto un irlandese con un Kilt a cena da Lei :respinto

Ospiti donne con short che si fanno foto sulla terrazza con short cortissimi, ammesse.
.....e purtroppo mi è difficile scorgere dalle foto in rete come siano vestite le persone una volta accomodate ai tavoli.
Ha un albergo anche con camere pet friendly ma nel mio caso si è dimostrato IMHO poco human frendly….. e sono stato contento di aver provato da uomo una forma che reputo personalmente discriminatoria cosa che provano spesso le donne per il proprio abbigliamento non libere di andare dove desiderano.
Comunque la giornata è trascorsa poi benissimo ed abbiamo cenato in un Michelin, il suo ristorante non mi risulta abbia una stella ma solo menzione nella lista, dove alla domanda posso cenare da voi con i pantaloncini corti mi è stato risposto “eventualmente le daremo una tovaglia se fosse proprio necessario, seguito da una fragorosa risata”. Elegant restaurant,my experience was excellent, the atmosphere, very friendly staff, the food ????, we ordered Chateaubriand which was enough for two , and the sea pass , the hotel decoration was amazing.

Food was superb and staff were really friendly and kind.

Great view, very nice place.
Food was expensive , but from Taste ok.
16 Euro couvert on the top makes the experience for having food on this place not worth it

We had the most amazing meal in Venice at the Terrazza Danieli! Not only is the view spectacular but the service is impeccable, to the highest degree!! Their hostess, Janica, took very good care of us and the wait staff even offered to take photos, which pleased my daughters! Celebrated my 25-year old twins' birthdays and they were blown away by the food...from the starters to the delicious, perfectly cooked Chateaubriand, and a special Tiramisu piece, each with a candle, for their birthday dessert. For a special occasion this restaurant does not disappoint. The wine was very fine, as were the Espresso martini's. I am also keeping the hotel in mind to book when I return with my husband next year for our 30th anniversary!

The ambience service, and the food at the restaurant was simply great! It is definitely on the higher end, but you have a guaranteed great experience, including the view from the terrace which was one of my favorite parts of this trip ????

Trés bon restaurant, chic et class avec une vue magnifique sur la lagune de Venise. Un restaurant à faire qui laissera de bons souvenirs.
