The manager that checked us in was amazing and super attentive and kind. The hotel was beautiful with old world charm but modern facilities. The rooftop patio has amazing views and compli.e Taryn prosecco! Breakfast was complimentary and and absolutely delicious.

The best hotel in Venice, service and location is great (directly in the heart of Venice), would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Venice.

We adored our stay at the Locanda Fiorita. Our two classic double rooms in this lovely hotel had extremely comfortable beds and powerful AC, ensuring a good night sleep and a perfect location to siesta in the warm afternoons. What little street noise there was, both afternoon and night, was completely blocked when I closed the outer shutters to our room windows. The shower space, while limited like others in big European cities, was beautiful and functional. Our kids room down the hall had a private, detached bathroom. Both their room and bath had a bit more space than ours. A delicious breakfast was served on the patio in front, with privacy provided by potted shrubs. I can't imagine a better location; Locanda Fiorita is a 10 minute walk from from St. Mark's and the Doge's Palace, but does not feel touristy. It's even closer to the Rialto and Accademia Bridges. The warm, helpful, hospitality of our hosts, especially Anthony, made our stay. Their directions from the airport were extremely helpful. Taking the recommended Alilaguna saved us 40-50 Euro versus a private water taxi and the views from the boat were a great introduction to Venice. Their restaurant recommendation was the best place we ate at in this beautiful city. Anthony's reminder about the Accademia Bridge kept us from missing one of the best views in Venice. They helped us test our new SIM card and when we couldn't get it to work, they showed us the location of the Vodafone store. These, and other personal kindnesses made our stay very special.
