Nous avons passé un tres bon moment dans ce restaurant, le soir.
Apres les serveurs de Rome tres peu aimables, voir malpolis; nous avons trouvé ici le charme toscan, la gentillesse et l amabilité des serveurs. Grace au serveur/sommelier, nous y avons goûté d excellents vins qui s’alliaient parfaitement aux plats.
Sans nul doute les meilleures pates que nous avons gouté durant nos vacances.
Ambiance tranquille: peu de table (en hiver seulement a l interieur) ce qui rend le lieu intime.
Compter environ 30 euros par personne (pour antipasti-primi-dessert)
Je recommande si vous etes dans le coin.

Incantevole posizione a due passi da Pienza. Monticchiello unica come unica è la cucina e l'ospitalità di questi ragazzi. Gruppo giovane cucina eccellente. Pici al ragù spettacolari e dopo i primi trionfo di carni toscane. Cantina super.

Abbiamo mangiato molto bene nonostante lo stress della mancanza dell'energia elettrica dovuta ad un incidente.

Locale caratteristico, molto curato nei dettagli. Semplice ma, nel contempo, elegante. Tipico locale toscano.
Merita, nonostante abbia i prezzi poco sopra la media perché non è adatto ad un turismo "mordi e fuggi".

Il locale ha una bellissima terrazza che affaccia sulle colline, pertanto vi consiglio il pranzo, di sera non si vede nulla.... Dalle recensioni mi ero aspettato qualcosa di più, il menù del sito non è aggiornato, buona la qualità delle materie prime, pici al ragù toscano buoni ma non entusiasmanti, troppo asciutte le pappardelle con ragù bianco. Con un pizzico di cura in più potrebbe fare molto meglio.

High quality local ingredients cooked and presented well in a nice and cosy atmosphere outside the touristic traps. Professional and excellent service. Ottima ricerca di materie prime locali cucinate in maniera leggermente più elaborata della media e presentate bene. Ottimo e professionale il servizio. Locale intimo in un paesino che è un gioiello fuori dalle rotte turistiche.

NOn ci tornavo da tanti anni. Nuova gestione. Abbiamo mangiato bene, piatti ben preparati, con ingredienti di qualità. Ottimo anche dopo il cambio.

從佛羅倫斯到托斯卡尼吃丁骨牛排,這裡最貴,品質平庸,服務冷漠,用原來的招牌已經換新的經營者,昂貴的價錢,普通的品質,這裡有其它更好的餐廳選擇????

Nous nous sommes rendus dans ce restaurant vu les excellents commentaires et photos qui donnaient très envie. Sur place, tout était bon mais nous avons été déçu par l'ambiance assez impersonnelle du lieu. Addition finale assez chère alors que nous avions encore faim en partant.

Siamo stati tre volte negli ultimi anni ed abbiamo mangiato benissimo, una volta sulla terrazza esterna e due all’interno. Torneremo sicuramente in futuro.

Didn’t eat here as we asked for an outside table, and the waitress rudely declined to sit us saying it’s all reserved but it was clearly empty. And the online reservation was saying there were spots. Felt a bit racially motivated.

Unverschämt unfreundliches Personal! Wir haben einige Tage zuvor einen Tisch im Außenbereich an der Brüstung „mit tollem Ausblick“ reserviert und zugesagt bekommen. Bei Ankunft wurden wir bereits unfreundlich empfangen ohne wirkliches Hallo und wurden dann zum hintersten Tisch gebracht. Obwohl das Restaurant leer und alle Tische frei waren, konnten wir keinen der anderen Tische bekommen. Das Personal hat mit uns diskutiert, dass sie uns keinen Tisch mit Ausblick versprochen haben und uns somit auch noch als Lügner dastehen lassen. Keinerlei Entgegenkommen, wir sind sofort gegangen. Nach dem wir uns den Ort noch angeschaut haben und nochmal am Restaurant vorbeiliefen, hat uns der Mitarbeiter nochmal versucht in sein Restaurant zu locken, aber das war zu spät! Außerdem wer weiß was die uns ins Essen getan hätten. Deshalb Vorsicht, nicht von der Lage/dem Ausblick täuschen lassen. Es gibt zahlreiche andere gute Restaurants in der Umgebung die einen herzlich willkommen heißen

My colleague recommended that Osteria La Porta is a good spot for lunch in Montichiello. The place turned out to be a somewhat mediocre restaurant. I ordered Pici with summer truffles, steak topped with summer truffles, and tiramisu. Overall food and service were okay, but nothing impressive.

Cibo buonissimo, servizio impeccabile e ragazzi carinissimi! Se ricapiterà l’occasione, torneremo sicuramente.
Considerando location, vista e qualità di cibo e servizio, il prezzo è più che adeguato.
