Average hotel. Room hadn’t been very deep cleaned - the toilet in our room was dirty upon arrival. Lots of snacks and stuff in the room but it’s all extortionately expensive. This wouldn’t be so bad if there was at least complimentary water but no, you have to leave your room and use some dirty tap by the lift to fill up a bottle which takes about 5 minutes to fill because the tap is so slow. Wi-Fi was awful - kept dropping out and was about 2-3mb in speed when it was working. Blind in our room was broken. Chromecast on tv didn’t work. Shampoo and shower gel were both just shower gel. Staff at checkin were friendly but we went to each of the 3 bars and the staff were rude in a different way in each. First bar ignored me for about 10 minutes and served other customers who arrived after me - they were loud Americans so I guess they get priority. Second bar was just really rude - said they would only make cocktails for us if they are on the menu. Third bar told us we could only have our table for 20 minutes. We asked if anyone else left could we take their table and they said that would be fine, after our first cocktail loads of tables had cleared off but they said we had to leave and were very blunt. Then to put the icing on the cake, they’ve added a £20 service charge on to our bill. This wasn’t made at all clear and is just basically stealing from your customers. I don’t care if it’s in the terms and conditions. If a room costs x per night, that’s how much it should cost. Certainly won’t be staying here again.

Stayed here on the recommendation from a friend who is from London and I am so glad we listened. This hotel is VERY well-located, has spotless and lovely rooms and facilities, and the lobby is one of the coolest places for people to hang out (a DJ on Thursdays and Fridays). The coffee shop has the kindest baristas, and the staff at the front are so kind too. Gym is great, 3 Peloton bikes, 2 treadmills, high quality mats and weights. Connected to 2 cool bars as well. I will 100% stay here the next time I return to London.

I had the delight of staying at one hundred Shoreditch this weekend which blew me away with the facilities, room, staff and decor. Everything was perfect!

If you’re looking for a city break I would 100% recommend here and look forward to coming back soon

Stylish Facade but Lacking Substance: Upon first glance, One Hundred Shoreditch exudes an undeniable aura of slickness, tailored to cater to the Instagram-savvy, trendy crowd of Shoreditch. However, beneath its stylish facade lies an establishment that falls short of providing the sophistication and luxury expected by discerning travelers. The hotel's aesthetic appeal may appeal to the younger, trend-conscious demographic, but those seeking genuine opulence and attention to detail may find themselves disappointed. One notable inconvenience is the need to fetch water from a tap located by the lift in the room, a seemingly trivial detail that detracts from the overall guest experience.Furthermore, the check-in process proved to be sluggish, testing the patience of even the most understanding guests. To compound matters, returning to an uncleaned room after a day out is simply unacceptable for a hotel of this purported caliber. To add insult to injury, the final bill presented at checkout included an unexpected 10% service charge. This unwelcome surprise only served to highlight the mediocrity of the service received throughout the stay. Upon inquiry, the request to remove the service charge was made, emphasizing the dissatisfaction with the overall level of service provided. In conclusion, while One Hundred Shoreditch may boast a trendy aesthetic, it falls short in delivering the level of sophistication and luxury that discerning travelers seek. From inconvenient water access to subpar cleanliness and unexpected charges, the experience leaves much to be desired. For those who value substance over style and expect impeccable service, it's advisable to look elsewhere.

March 2024 Update - Ive stayed here many times, and always enjoyed my stays. However, Im updating my review because the hotel seems to have started applying a 'service charge' which is not mentioned during the stay, but snuck on the bill sent via email after check out. I only noticed this on the second time that it happened. When I asked about it, and then asked that it be removed, the hotel agreed, but it leaves a bad taste nonetheless. I have never experienced this kind of tactic at any other hotel I've stayed at, and think that One Hundred Shoreditch as a quality brand should be better than this...

We went to the bar for a drinks. There was no welcome, there was no acknowledgement of our presence, smiles did not shine through. Dull experience

Stayed there on September 2023 and found it the perfect location in terms of cost-benefit. One can get easily to all the museums and tourist activities, as there is a bus stop right outside of the hotel.

The staff was overall nice and helpful, the rooms were kept very clean and the bed was VERY comfortable (to the one hundred Shoreditch team, could you please tell me the brand of the mattress ? ????).

Will definitely stay here when I’m in London again

Decor is nice but that’s where the good stuff ends. Be warned, of the £100 deposit required that is listed in the fine print of booking. We had this plus our room fee PLUS a service charge which was supposedly discretionary, but we were never given the option to take off? Staff at check in weren’t very clear about the charge. On check out we were then asked to make the payment that we were told had been taken at check in again. The £100 deposit is refundable but takes 10-15 working days to come back! Ridiculous. If you are going to request these sorts of charges it needs to be made crystal clear at time of booking. It’s misleading and it meant we had less money for the weekend to spend. Times are hard and companies like this make it harder. We won’t be returning.

This is my go-to london hotel. I booked the studio and the rooms were big, beds are super comfy, and I love the couch along the window. The neighborhood is great with lots of restaurants and well connected through busses and the overground. Much better value than what you'd get in central london. The coffee shop downstairs is great as well.

I had the pleasure of staying at the One Hundred Hotel this past Saturday, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Living in Kent, I often look for opportunities to take a lovely break away from the routine, and this visit certainly provided that. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with elegance and style that seamlessly blended modern aesthetics with comfort. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, making the check-in process smooth and swift.

My room was a haven of luxury, with tasteful decorations and a bed that promised - and delivered - a perfect night's sleep. Every detail, from the plush towels to the high-end toiletries, contributed to a sense of exclusive pampering.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with spaces that invite relaxation and reflection. I especially enjoyed my morning coffee in a peaceful oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city.

Dining at the hotel was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a menu that's both inventive and delicious, with dishes prepared to perfection and served with impeccable attention to detail.

In every aspect, the One Hundred Hotel stands out as a beautiful gem. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, this hotel promises a memorable stay, combining luxury with the warmth of impeccable hospitality. For someone from Kent looking for a special escape, this was an absolutely perfect choice. I can't wait to return.

The rooms are clean and spacious and nice for a couple to relax after long london day. The location is amazing and central to most london hotspots. They should focus on customer friendliness at reception. What I find non helpful is non hospitality attitude at reception. I enquired for washroom and received an annoyed stare.
Moreover they charge 400 pounds as reserve at reception in case of damage/theft which is not pre-announced.

Amazing hotel. Our room was very spacious and stylish with a comfy bed. There are a couple bars, a restaurant and coffee shop in this hotel too. Being in Shoreditch, the location is very lively and you can enjoy a night out. I couldn't hear any outside noise, so the sound proofing is very good. Old Steet station is only about a 10 min walk. Staff are very welcoming and friendly too. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Being asked to pay an extra 8% on checkout is outrageous. Pay your staff more if they're not being compensated adequately for their services.

No plugs next to bed, just an extension chord which creates a trip hazard and is inconvenient.

No dressing table, just a stool in the bathroom where there is obviously nowhere to plug in hair styling appliances.

The rooftop bar is directly above the more expensive tier of rooms and the music and noise from the bar is much too loud. Even when it was turned down (quite late in the evening) it was still audible.

If you're looking for an undisturbed stay, in a well appointed room, with straightforward pricing, look elsewhere.

Wow! What a hotel! Staff were fantastic on arrival, checked us in and gave us two glasses of Prosecco. We drank them on the roof terrace looking across London. The room was amazing, the bed was so comfortable! Huge sofa, great bathroom, everything you need! Great location, would definitely recommend!
