THE PILGRM

Yesterday organized a breakfast bag to go for this morning as leaving early - as we predicted this was not provided and all we got was a sorry - then a mystery charge of £14 was demanded for what we do not know.
Your service is beyond low and I would like a refund of the breakfast for two people today as you failed to deliver.
Again, rude staff who don't seem to communicate with each other at all
Pros - nicey.decorsted rooms within an old hybrid if conjoined buildings. Nice pantry for tea and coffee. But a kettle in room would be good so you don't have to get ready to go get a cuppa at night or early morning.
Oversold and highly underdelivered!
Staff don't greet you and it seems you are a problem to them. Breakfast staff very slow and he doesn't acknowledge you at all until you speak to him. Breakfast menu is ok but more brunch than breakfast.
The noise external to building is awful - we are above an industrial kitchen and the constant extraction fan makes.it impossible to sleep or heat anytging but that - then there's the hollering at 5am from the alley - earplugs should be placed in rooms.
Breakfast - very limited compared to other properties we stay in and as above, staff make you feel problematic just by asking things like where to sit. No explanation of the menu or water given unless asked for. The dining area is a bar and not a comfortable space for eating as tables too low to the ground.
Having stayed in a range of 9 hotels, guest houses and BBs this trip up and down the UK, this is a dismal end to our trip.
