Fabulous location and hospitality. Rooms are compact, but sleek and recently renovated, and you're in the heart of Soho, but on a side street that keeps you away from the bustle. The evening happy hour in the lobby is class: nice ambience and really good wine!

The resident soho is located in the heart of SoHo, and steps away from London’s most famous restaurants and pubs. Very easy to get to from Heathrow via the Elizabeth line. My wife and I stayed 3 nights here and were amazed at how accommodating and helpful the hotel staff was during our stay. The staff provided us with many excellent recommendations for food. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to London!

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Soho close to everything. Having stayed in all the 4 and 5 star hotels in the area the service, attention to detail, and friendliness of staff is by far the best experienced.
So often in London you book a hotel and its tired, the service is shocking, and its overpriced. This is a great value hotel.
The Resident Soho provides exactly what it says it does - comfortable rooms at good value price points (for London) and service which is so friendly and helpful that you have to double check you are actually in a London hotel.
Rooms are well maintained, clearly regularly checked for maintenance, and as per other reviews on the rare occassion something goes wrong the staff here resolve it quickly - something that is once again rare in London.
As a previous regular guest of places like the Ritz, Piccadilly, Hilton Walforf, Cafe Royal, Soho Hotel, Firmdale Hotels, it may seem strange that the Resident Soho is now my hotel of choice in London - but this is the hotel only where I find you get exactly what is offered with no issues, wonderful service, clean & comfy rooms, in a great spot.
I hope management share my review with the team as from Pablo on reception, to the maintenance crew, to the friendly smiling cleaners you encounter in the hallways this is by far the friendliest and most reliable service I've had in London.
A special shout out to the housekeeping team - again, never seen such spotlessly clean and well maintained rooms. There are hotels at a much higher level which deliver far inferior cleanliness to you.
I have just one suggestion - a soft/accent/arm chair in the Superior Rooms would be a nice addition I think.
For guests be aware there are various room types of different sizes (some quite small and cost effective). However, they are super clear on their website about what sizes the rooms are with clear photos - again, unlike other hotels in London they are honest. If space is important to you, choose a Superior or above.

Pablo and the team are amazing! Such a 10 star service for an affordable hotel in Soho. Pablo will do everything humanly possible to make your stay perfect. Really impressed.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now - both for work. The location couldn’t be better, however the rooms are tiny and the hotel does not offer breakfast / dining services.
My biggest frustration was the process upon checking in. The first time I stayed here, I was asked to provide the following details and was informed that without this, I wasn’t able to check in (ie there was no option to decline)
- name
- DOB
- email address
- home address
- phone telephone
- passport details
- residency details
I asked why they needed so much of my personal information and they couldn’t tell me why. I was reassured that they’d delete my data under GDPR after I left, however the second time I returned, they still had all of this information on file for me.
This sounds silly, but it just really frustrates me that they keep my entire file on record. It’s so unnecessary.

קבלנו מיטה צרה בחדר קטנטן שצמוד לקיר בצד אחד ובמרווח מאד קטן למרגלות המיטה ,מה שחייב את מי שישן צמוד לקיר להעיר מספר פעמים בלילה את האורח השני כדי לרדת לשרותים.עובדה שמנעה מאיתנו שינה ביומיים הראשונים.

Amazing hotel with great Soho location; though a bit out of the fray, which was great. From the moment hospitable Jose checked me in, I knew it would be a great stay. The "small" room was great for an overnight stay.

The best stay right at the heart of London. 3 min walk to the tube and everything you need is within walking distance. Outstanding service even goes as far as helping us send back our teddy bear that we forgot in the room! Thanks and will definitely stay here again!
In wenigen Minuten zum Picadilly Circus, Chinatown, Covent Garden, Oxford Street, vielen Theatern.
Die Central Line erreicht man in wenigen Minuten und hat somit eine super Anbindung in alle Richtungen.
Der Service ist super hilfsbereit.
Es wird kein Frühstück angeboten, allerdings hat jedes Zimmer eine kleine Küche (Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Nespresso. Am Wasserhahn ist ein Brita Filter).
Auf meinen Wunsch und natürlich gegen Bezahlung wurde unser Kühlschrank mit Obst und Getränken vor unserer Anreise gefüllt.
