SAINT PANCRAS RENAISSANCE

I left And sat all night At the st. pancreas International Station. With the door of the station open in february, it was Very cold, a bit dangerous and generally quite unpleasant. Still, I was able to catch the subway in the morning and my flight home to the United states.
No. I wasn't about to spend 60+ pounds per hour for accommodation. And no, the front desk clerk was not required to let me sit for a few hours in the lobby. But then, I'm permitted to give the hotel a two-star review. In my opinion, they earned it. Anyone could have been caught in that situation.
In any case, let me at least thank the hotel for getting me that much closer to 500 reviews. But here's a Question: am I being sarcastic or obtuse?
From the moment you step into the grand lobby, you are enveloped in the opulence of a bygone era. The soaring ceilings, intricate details, and impeccable furnishings evoke a sense of grandeur that is truly awe-inspiring. The hotel seamlessly combines its rich heritage with contemporary amenities, ensuring a stay that is both indulgent and comfortable.
The rooms at the Saint Pancras Renaissance are a sanctuary of luxury, featuring plush bedding, elegant decor, and state-of-the-art technology. Whether you choose a room overlooking the bustling station or a suite with panoramic views of London's skyline, you are guaranteed a restful and rejuvenating stay.
One of the highlights of the hotel is its dining options. From the elegant Gilbert Scott Restaurant, serving modern British cuisine in a stunning setting, to the charming Booking Office Bar & Restaurant, housed in the original ticket hall of the station, guests can indulge in a culinary journey that celebrates the best of British gastronomy.
The Saint Pancras Renaissance also boasts an array of amenities, including a fitness center, spa, and concierge services, ensuring that every need is met with the utmost care and attention to detail.
Personnel agréable.
Chambres mal isolées on entend les portes qui claquent donc oubliez la grasse mat.
Petit déjeuner génial.
I wanted to write a thorough review but became angry every time I sat down to write it. But I want this to be helpful so I'll just keep it to a few points.
I am a loyalty program Marriott traveler and I travel at the top level. This is important because:
- Hotel is run down and they don't care
- AC erupted in our room, water coming down
- They do not treat with respect or manners unless you “look” a certain way
- Anyone can enter hotel as it’s connected to the trains, makes it dangerous
- Food seems to be less than fresh (rumors is that they reuse breakfast items on their buffet that they sell the day before)
- Terrible food with poor cuts of meat
- I spent money on all levels at this hotel but they continue to put airs
- I have talked to Marriott and the hotel on deaf ears
I have a lot of email correspondence to back up what I'm staying. I offered to talk to them while in London about problems but they refused.
Camel that broke the straws back was when I asked for a cab. Blond security personnel in front of the hotel (name is Gosha) snapped at me (contemplating uploading her picture) When I went inside to complain, she had a male security guard tail us. Unbelievable!
Spend money at a hotel that appreciates your hard earned money. Worst experience ever.
