We went on tour to the iconic Lord's stadium. Unsurprisingly most of the tour members were fellow Indians. The tour started off with the visit to the museum. Our guide Mr Bob gave us a great insight into the first ever match played between England and Australia and how it got the name of Ashes henceforth. We saw the original Prudential Cup won by India in 1983. The red brick pavillion and the dressing rooms were awesome. It was an eye opener for us to learn that the great Sachin has not scored a single century at Lord's. Saw the names of some great bowlers and batsmen etched in the stadium wall. The pitch side and the media room were really very good. Was a really insightful tour and our guide Mr Bob was so so good with so many stories and trivias to tell. Must say that that it was a great and different experience altogether touring a cricket stadium after so many football stadiums.

What a wonderful experience. We went on a tour of the famous ground and it was fascinating. Our guide was so knowledgeable and engaging. We also got to watch a couple of hours of the Middlesex county game too. If you love your cricket this venue is a must. If you love history, you won't be disappointed. Thoroughly recommend this place.

I know nothing about cricket, I just joined my husband in the tour to give him company, but I had an amazing time!
Loved seeing all the famous rooms and hearing facts about iconic matches/players(which I didn’t know before but I could feel the energy from everyone else).
Definitely recommend visiting!
Also all the employees are incredibly nice and helpful.
They made bringing our toddler wayy smoother than I thought. They guided me to a diaper changing facility when needed, helped me use the elevators with my stroller, and was always available to answer questions.
