We love using MYCAR when traveling to Iceland! They always arrive at the airport when they say they will. The MYCAR reps are efficient with getting us on the road. What we particularly love is that all the rentals are Toyota hybrids. We also love that the vehicle we reserve online is the exact one we get. I will continue referring friends and family to MYCAR for their Iceland travels!

We rented a Toyota Rav 4. Very glad we got the hybrid and studded tires. Definitely saved us money on gas and helped prevent us from slipping on some of the extremely icy roads. The in car WiFi was another great touch since I didn’t have my data turned on. Our one complaint was that the windshield wipers were terrible. And with the snow and salt and rain it made it frequently difficult to see.

Car was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were very polite and shared crucial things to note for driving in Iceland.

I especially appreciated getting emails and infographics before we arrived to ensure we fully understand the rules and guidelines of driving in Iceland.

Pro tip: Get full insurance! Icelandic weather is extremely unpredictable and you want to be covered against every possibility.

Brilliant service especially picking us up from the airport on New Years Eve! Car was excellent for the roads we were on, definitely needed the Rav4 for driving in winter, heated seat and steering wheel were appreciated!
Definitely would recommend and use again should we return

Really good service, great cars and mostly very friendly staff. Have been using MyCar for 5 of our trips so far and have had zero issues with the rental process and cars! Will definitely rent again!

The only small inconvenience, is having to go from the airport to their office with a shuttle, which they provide of cause, but it only runs every hour and almost never matched our arrival time, often leading to wait times and a little stress on arrival. One of our shuttle drivers also drove a little recklessly one time. But that really is the only negative I have to say.
