Wenn man möchte weckt das Personal einen auch in der Nacht wenn Nordlichter zu sehen sind.
Die Leute an der Bar sind auch super freundlich!
Lovely hotel to stay in with rooms being slightly small, but more than adequate.

Das zimmer war klein,aber ausreichend. Es war sauber und modern eingericht. Wir hatten ein Balkon mit direktem Blick auf'n Hafen.
They serve frozen and expired food.

Northern lights wake-up calls the most reliable among all hotels I stayed in Iceland — very timely when the activity was starting to get “serious”.
Breakfast on the pricier side than other hotels in Iceland, but you get what you paid for — spacious and nice seating, huge selections of food, clean tables, friendly servers, frequent refills of the food — so I think it’s justified.
The hot tubs were small but lovely for a dip when it’s cold — you can borrow bathrobes from the front desk, which’s thoughtful when it’s freezing cold outside.
Overall I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Myvatn where you’d have an enjoyable stay.

Big room with big TV.
We hadden een probleem met onze kamerdeur, maar dat werd goed opgelost en we kregen meteen een waardebon voor een gratis drankje.
Das Servicepersonal auch im angeschlossenen Restaurant sehr freundlich. Das Essen im Restaurant köstlich und der Preis angemessen!

- Each room is unique and you likely won’t get a room similar to any photo you see. Expect variability.
- Some of the bathrooms in the less expensive rooms are frosted glass without a door that closes so if privacy is a concern, upgrade your room.
- It sits next to a maintenance dry dock for commercial ships. So, it won’t be quiet during the day…but you do get a fascinating view of major repair projects for huge marine vessels.
A refreshingly different place. There are 2 hot tubs outside in keeping with the theme of the area.
Breakfast was excellent.
